I'm from the eastern shore. I went to Newark, Delaware to meet a woman, things didn't go well unfortunately on that end. So I decided to do some site seeing and came across this place. The design, decor, and esthetics are visually pleasing, The staff were quite friendly and inviting. And thankfully they had Coke products instead of Pepsi, they even have that fancy Coke machines like Wendy's got. The place is more comparable to Chipotle and Taco Bell than your mom and pop authentic Mexican place. I believe it's better than Taco Bell and Chipotle. They give great portions unlike Chipotle and Taco Bell and it's quite filling and satisfying, and pricing is better than Taco Bell and Chipotle. The menu is more limited in variety than those two but I believe it helps keep things more reasonably priced and what it does for is high quality. Hope they open one closer to the eastern shore, and next time I'm in Newark I'm definitely stopping by again! read more

i am a big boy. I enjoy a good bowl of food. I always finish my bowls of food. However, i simply could not finish my food today. It was fine, like, it wasn't awful. But, the rice was extremely clumpy, not enough meat, lettuce was huge, beans were so saucy it made the rice black: the combination did not work. Also, they shit on my friend. She wanted to order something specific and they called her a bitch. Basically, insinuating she was wimp for not wanting something spicy. 0/10 For my UD friends, I'll leave you with this comparison. This is one of the slowest services I have ever seen, I ordered my food at 6:17 and I waited till 7:15. I used to work in customer service and the longest I've made a customer wait was 15 minutes. When I complained they proceeded to make me the wrong order and get annoyed they messed up. I do not recommend coming here. The line is not even long and they had two people working but if you know it you can't do it, call in other workers for help. An hour is ridiculous for a burrito. read more

The food was delicious! The ingredients were hot and fresh. This was way better than the other chain restaurant! The customer service was top tier. We didn't know what we wanted but no one rushed us! We met the owner, Dawn. She was very pleasant and friendly. We had no idea she was the owner! Victoria was also the best! Ask for her secret sauce with your chips! I am a big fan of this location in particular. I have been to two other Qdoba locations and have been underwhelmed by both, but this location really stands out. I've been here a couple times now, and it has been consistently very good. Because of my past experiences, I had a prejudice against the Qdoba chain, but I was invited to meet friends here multiple times, and this place overcame my prejudices, proving me wrong...and I am now a fan. The food here is fresh. Each individual item I've tried, has been consistently fresh. The people seem to put good quantities of the items in when mixing them, and they're responsive to my requests to put more or less of a given items. Also, this place serves beer, very unusual for a Qdoba! There are a few Mexican beers and there was also Dogfish head, they were quite reasonable, everything but the dogfish head was only $4. The ambiance is nice for a fast food place. It's a bit cold and bright, but pleasant, clean, and well-kept up. The bathroom was even very clean! The windows are big and bright during daytime. The employees are also very nice. I highly recommend this place. read more

Qdoba has some great food and selections. Personally my favorite of the major burrito chains. When you come to qdoba you cant be wanting or expecting phenomenal service that just isnt going to happen. Sometimes the service is good, sometimes it's bad. It doesnt affect my experience because I'm coming for the food. I love the queso's and the many food options they have like nachos, taco salads etc. Only complaint I've ever had food wise is that the chips can be overly salty. And it's a good majority of the time that they are overly salty. So if you go I recommend chips on the side for the nachos. read more

I would never and I repeat never order from here again!! The customer service was awful it was like they was mad that they actually had to do to take my order. Then once they act took my order they went back to talking amongst themselves and it took me 25 minutes to get my food and once I open my container of soup I was greatly disappointed at how my order was, it smelled like food poisoning in a container with 2 chimpanzees having a lap dance . I love qdoba food, but I had a bad staff experience at this location. The staff was more interested in socializing, and the manager actually stopped one of the employees from starting to help me to give her a hug, then he forgot about me and disappeared into the back. I pretty much stood there for 3-5 minutes while approximately 5 staff members and the manager carried on conversations. One employee even said "I'm leaving to go get food" and she had just walked in the door for her shift behind me 2 minutes prior. I guess QDOBA just isn't my thing. Their food had no taste to me, was just very plain, I kept feeling like I need salt or a bunch of sauce to make it have a taste. Their cheese dip is better than chipotle, in my opinion, but that's about it. Chips weren't good, chicken had no taste, staff seemed annoyed that they had to help customers and on top of that their makeline was set away from customer view unlike chipotle (not sure if they were just cleaning behind it or if that's their normal setup) but I couldn't see any of their toppings, so I had to stand there like an idiot and ask them "do you have this?" and "do you have that?" and again, I just couldn't help it but felt like they were annoyed with me. Sadly, for some reason I waited over 2 hours for an order I paid for only to have to ask for a refundbecause physically i had to go. YES, they were busy but all of the employees just walked off. The manager couldn't even come and apologize after I struggled an hour walking back and forth between the car and the counter to check on it (I'm handicapped and no one had a mask) Maybe this place has a problem with handicapped customers? I would give qdoba 5 stars, but i have one beef with Qdoba- they dont have quesadillas after midnight which sucks but their chips and guac slap. So do their bowls and burritos. I dont even like mexican but i love qdoba. Many eateries are similar to qdoba, BUT qdoba's customer service is remarkable. Eric, our server last night really made sure I was happy and tended to every thing i might need. Eric being so kind to me as an employee and a friend is the kind of person we need in the world.
