Since I live so far away, my priority for what food I order to take home is always an Italian sub -- and I ordered two, both with extra meat. I've never had an Italian sub that was just ham and ... I don't even know what the other meat was but it was dark, smoked and past its prime. No salami? No capicola? Just ham and ... unknown dark meat that was NOT an Italian meat. I'm so disappointed. Here I am, four hours away with two large subs and I'm going to have to throw them in the trash. The one meat is just not edible. I also ordered "extra meat" and what ended up on my sandwich was less than the average I expect on a regular sub. Really disappointed. I should add that the potato salad is DELICIOUS and that the people were very nice.

I asked the owner and they put no hormones, antibiotics, etc. in their animals. They also have an assortment of ready meals and take home to cook/bake meals. For example; I got a meatloaf that I have to bake and it also has instructions which is extra cool to have. The owner, Christine I believe, walked with me to help me pick everything based on what I wanted and even helped me get exactly what I needed for a beef stew. From the veggies, meat, and base. Everyone in there was welcoming and polite. Her "mom" vibes is exactly what you need while finding what you need to prepare a home-cooked meal The meat was fair priced but you are paying for higher quality meat that has been raised right so it's worth it to me.
