I have always had a good experience with jersey mikes. I always get an Italian amd it never disappoints.

What has happened to my favorite sandwich? We ordered regular sized classic Italian and my favorite, the roast beef and provolone, both "Mike's Way" which has vinegar and oil dressing plus all the veg. I asked for the pepper relish and the banana pepper slices on the side. What was made for pickup, however, were two soggy, sorry excuses for a sandwich. So much vinegar, all I could taste was vinegar. Now I love vinegar--this is a gal who has six kinds of vinegar in the pantry but I want to taste sandwich, not just the dressing. There was almost no provolone on my sandwich and minimal roast beef hiding in the crease. It looked scared; and I don't blame it. The acid bath was something out of a horror film. And of course the bread barely survived the deluge of dressing, soggy. And barely any crunchy water, I mean, lettuce or onions. And the pepper relish and slices were ON the sandwich not on the side as requests. The Italian wasn't much better, not enough lettuce and the diner, a hungry guy who is not as fussy as me, admitted it wasn't that great. Jersey Mikes of Middletown, do better, please. read more

Walked in at 8pm to extremely loud rap music, loud enough to where I could barely give my order. They were out of wheat bread and Bacon, but still charged me full price for my sandwich. I should of gone elsewhere, my mistake. read more

If you want enough chicken to actually taste on your "Mike's Chicken Philly", you're out of luck. See the picture below for what they think passes for an $8 sub with a pathetic amount of chicken. As you can see, it's mostly bread. I feel ripped off and insulted. read more

The Italian sub with turkey instead of ham, Mike's way, is my absolute favorite sandwich in the entire state of Delaware. You can taste the quality and freshness in the selection/ingredients this location uses. As a commuter, I've tried Jersey Mike's in multiple locations and states, and I'm just so thankful this one is a 5-star location in my book & is so close to our home. The customer service here is top-notch which you can tell trickles down from leadership/management. I've seen this location's team members hold open doors for elderly customers, stay super professional when they're slammed and take orders 1 minute from closing time with smiles on their faces. You don't see that at every restaurant but I'm glad I've witnessed that here countless times. I also love how they hire veterans and young adults. It makes me happy doing business at a place that not only is super high in quality and service, but adds so much value to the community. Thanks Jersey's for being the best sub place we've ever had. Despite the mad pace of the dinner rush, they were so helpful and concerned. Family wanted subs for Football Sunday and since our top 2 choices Casapulla's and Cappriottis were closed we decided to give it a shot. Bad choice...just not good subs. Bread was hard and flaky with that stale texture and the sub just wasnt a good sub. We know subs around here being this close to Philly...Time to send Jersey Mikes back to Jersey with that taste. Was so looking forward to Jersey Mike's opening in Middletown. We love the Newark and Christiana locations. But Middletown? Such a disappointment. Terrible customer service... we won't be returning. Stopped in for lunch. Ordered two subs. Made very clear to the employee a food allergy. Upon arriving home and opening the sandwiches we quickly realized that the sandwich maker didn't make the sub as instructed... the special instructions were ignored. Ok, mistakes happen. Upon calling the store the 'manager' was beyond rude, beyond useless. He was 'too busy' to assist. But he'd be sure to have his manager call. This was a week ago. Still waiting. I won't be spending another dime here. Management doesn't care about their customers. Good luck in Middletown. But if you want to be successful, perhaps show your customers some respect. read more

Was in Middletown visiting and wanted a great sandwich and so I dropped in. I was greeted with 2 smiling faces and they took my order right away! The young lady, CJ made my sandwich just the way I asked and she was very pleasant to talk to! I told her I would write a great review because of how nice she was! Extremely disappointed in the service. It is already frustrating enough to try to order online only in today's environment via the app. I had a feeling I didn't click the no cheese button and confirmed when I went to the front door. The cashier ringing up the food went to check with the manager to see if she could make remake the sub. The manager came out with the worst attitude, never said a word to me, made a comment loud and rudely "we'll just throw away all that food"... she threw her hands in the air and walked away. No one is happy about the environment right now but stores should be happy we are choosing to support their business. Having a stank attitude in today's climate is not the way to run a business. read more

Honestly, I never go to Jersey Mikes. I had only been to one before. There aren't many around where I live... I was traveling and decided to stop at this location in Middletown... wow! What a great suprise. I had no idea what to order, so the manager (CJ I think) suggested a 43. It was the best sandwich I have ever eaten. The place was spotless and the wait wasn't long, even though there was a line. Seemed to be a popular place locally. The next time I drive through I will definitely stop again! Thanks! read more

Been there several times. Never disappointed. Love their roast beef and provolone. Only negative is price. Feel like $8 is overpriced for a 1/2 a sub. I'm from Philly but travel through Middletown quite often - decided to stop in. It was great. I had the Jersey Shore. Key components to a great hoagie - good roll and good cheese. This had both plus the other toppings - lettuce tomatoes oil and vinegar made it just right. Better than Wawa for sure. read more

Have been coming to this sandwich shop since they opened, and have not been disappointed yet. The roast beef is freshly roasted inhouse daily and is exceptionally lean, thinly sliced to order top round. They build your sandwich right in front of you and bake their bread throughout the day, so you are getting the freshest, highest quality sandwich around. All the competition out there cannot compare to these folks, friendly, helpful in suggestions for their condiments as well as highly professional and the store is sparkling clean.
