Then when trying to use another reward to save a few bucks, you have to wait around 15 minutes before any others are accessible in the app, as I was reminded by the manager who was there to back up the cashier not the customer. You'd expect good as gold food service and the excitement of a really great place with those incomparable golden French fries but here I am, a couple generations later, counting on nothing further from the golden rule. The only guarantees at Mcdonald's I can count on that never fail are: always going back to get what I actually ordered, subpar customer service, and overall dissatisfaction, no matter the location. I even relocated and traveled and found out down south it's the same. I can be sure when my kids get excited for a McDonald's night once in awhile, it will mean me spending a half hour trying to collect what I actually ordered. I can't count the times I have come home with multiple items missing from my order and experienced my family asking me to go back or my husband having to run back to get what was on the receipt. So I just began to plan to sit and amply wait for what I ordered. Even online orders are always wrong in person. My husband has gone in my place plenty of times and he and I both have experienced being called derogatory names by drive thru tellers that are not too competent when it comes to a big order. So I thought I'd be ok finally ordering just a meal not multiple (I need convenience for a seven people deep family) and even that proved a ridiculous process! The food is overpriced now more than ever. It's doubled as I used to spend $50 on feeding my family at McDonald's but now at least $100! I truly do miss the only place that could boast the old dollar menu and yet now I am getting the same thing but with a lot more hassle and some teenagers that don't want to really work too hard. Good luck finding satisfaction and getting what you pay for at any McDonald's location. You may have to travel out of the country to find healthier menu options and better service at this food chain. We are deprived, facing little choice but to purchase what's there, when you're in a pinch. America is definitely getting fatter. It would be nice if we could get some of those healthier menu options and if McDonald's could be as good as they once were and go a little retro again. It's just never going to be the same!
