Mostly everyone speaks Spanish ... but they'll get the (one) guy who speaks English to come speak to us especially when we call to place our order. Everything has been so tasty ... but I'd recommend staying away from some of the prepared daily foods at the end of the day that may have been sitting out in the trays for too long. Otherwise, the made to order items such as the fish, burritos, and tacos are always excellent. There's also usually many varieties of agua frescas as well.

The restaurant does get a bit smoky when they're cooking the meat, but the interior is nice. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

The chicken enchiladas were outstanding. The rice was so delicate and delicious. I'm not even sure what I ordered but the green salsa let you know who was boss. I gained 5 pounds eating a quarter of that stuff, and I can't wait to pack on some more pounds when I eat it for breakfast. This place is a gold mine. Can't wait to go back.

I completely understand that restaurants get busy and that servers can be stretched thin. However, the lack of attention to our table made the entire experience frustrating, especially at a restaurant where I've had such consistently good service in the past. Unfortunately, the food was also not up to the quality I've come to expect from Cinder Bar. To make matters worse, after eating there, I became extremely sick with symptoms consistent with food poisoning. I normally wouldn't let one bad experience erase years of positive ones, but between the extremely slow service, disappointing food, and becoming sick afterward, this experience was bad enough that I no longer feel comfortable returning. It's genuinely disappointing because Cinder Bar has been one of my favorite restaurants since they opened, and I have recommended it to others many times.
