When…read moreyou walk through the door you enter a store that you might find along the alleyways of Mexico City but follow the music down the hall past the leather boots stall (Yes, they sell leather boots.) and enter the colorfully welcoming dining area where the music wants to keep you on your feet!! Staff provided a warm welcome handing out a classic menu of those traditional Mex-American dishes with a real "Mexican" feel to the taco choices. The basket of rainbow colored corn chips was accompanied by a really tasty salsa verde. Was disappointed to learn that the "weekend only" tamales were not available because today is a weekend day on my calendar. Anyhow back to the awesome dance music that has my body swaying as my eyes search the walls enjoying each new discovery. Someone clearly thought out the decor to ensure diners were happy. The Tortilla Soup was a nice start although it could have been a bit warmer. Full of goodies including cheese (That had not melted but I think I liked the cheese pieces.) and pieces of avocado floating throughout with a subtle comforting flavored broth This is a soup everyone will enjoy! Ah the music ...tapping my toes and smiling ... music enhanced dining experience! Ok, so I wimped out on the main course ...no tripe nor tongue just a solid enchilada pairing with both their red and green sauces. Side dish of beans was appreciatively good. The sliced radishes a nice touch but would have loved them pickled and more plentiful. My only disappointment was the 99 cent upcharge for the "salsa/"hot sauce. Overall a good meal with a caring server even though there was a slight language barrier. Leaving full and happy dancing to the music. Glad to know that there's this great little restaurant behind the store! This is associated with another area Mexican restaurant.

My husband and I both had burritos and they were amazing (I took half of it home but my husband ate his whole thing). It would have been nice if they had a paper menu instead of having to view the o line menu though.

The lengua was super flavorful, the tortilla was the perfect texture and had good corn flavor, and the onions provided just the right amount of sweet and crispy contrast. Portion size of enchiladas was very generous and the tamales were freshly made (only available on Saturdays)! The service was very friendly. The restaurant does get a bit smoky when they're cooking the meat, but the interior is nice. We will definitely be back next time we're in the area!

I'm not annoyed that I understand why...because 3 really nice women were working like crazy in what was certainly a crazy Cinco de Mayo. I'm annoyed with myself that I said "this food had better be spectacular for this wait". And I'm glad to say....it's sure as hell was spectacular. The wait was understandable. It was Cinco de Mayo. Anyone from this area knows that no one does that holiday like Williamstown. Just kidding, we are so out of to much we celebrate the holiday in March. That being said, they were slammed. Like, slammed. Overworked, crushing it with their determination, the only thing I would recommend is being a little more up front with wait times. Trust me, people aren't going anywhere if you serve food like this. Fortunately, I live close by so the back and forth wasn't an issue. The food....was incredible. I mean, tender chicken. Seasoned perfectly. Fresh lettuce and tomato. Rice that was fluffy, sticky, and flavorful. I even loved the beans. The nachos were huge and plentiful with the right stuff and not the chip stuff. The chicken enchiladas were outstanding. The rice was so delicate and delicious. I'm not even sure what I ordered but the green salsa let you know who was boss. I gained 5 pounds eating a quarter of that stuff, and I can't wait to pack on some more pounds when I eat it for breakfast. This place is a gold mine. Can't wait to go back.

My dad didn't feel like Mexican so when we got home, I mentioned it to my husband and he wanted to try it out. When we got there, there were a couple of tables taken, and they were all speaking Spanish. Good sign #1. The place was clean, bright, and cheerful. Good sign #2. The server (? He seemed to be doing every job there) greeted us and told us to sit wherever we wanted and then asked us what we wanted to drink. I got water and my husband ordered horchata. It was really good and not too sweet like it can be. I ordered a huarache with carnitas and my husband ordered chilaquiles with red and green sauce. The chilaquiles were so good he had them gone in a couple of minutes. I didn't have a high expectation of my lunch because it was not on a masa base, it was a tortilla. I still ordered it because I figured the tortilla would be a lighter meal for lunch and I wouldn't feel as drained as if it was masa. My huarache had a base of some of the best refried beans I've had in a long time and let me tell you about the carnitas! In the area we used to live in, carnitas was generally served as shredded pork. Here, it was chunks of meat and I was a little anxious that they would be tough. But oh, the meat was so tender! I barely touched it with my fork and it fell apart! I barely had to chew it. I was really only chewing the tortilla. It was flavorful without being too spicy, so the taste of the carnitas could shine through. Honestly, this place is a little unassuming hole in the wall type of place in a weird strip mall that also has a surgery center and a gym in it. But you know, that's the kind of place that outshines any big places.
