I fell and cut my scalp. I was bleeding profusely and unknown person helped. The people from Wawa did come out to help. Somebody called an ambulance and I had to leave my car. When my son came to get it my car was untouched. I wish to thank the unknown people, EMTs and the Wawa employees who helped. read more

Called to place an order at midnight and wanted a mashed potato bowl. I was told the mashed potatoes were done for the night. I explained that several people wanted to order and two people wanted mashed potato bowl, The wonderful lady Diane on the phone said she would gladly make more as long as we could wait the hour for them to be done. Aw. I remember when this Super Wawa was built. In the years since, it's become a central hub for travelers and locals alike in Woodstown. It's just...there. It's the alternative to Heritage's. You can expect a busy lot, a bunch of cars gassing up, and a line at the deli counter. In other words, you can expect a very, very typical Salem County Wawa. Staff is always friendly, and I've rarely encountered lines at the ATM. Bathrooms are generally clean. But just like another reviewer said, be careful in the parking lot. People speed on through in their big ole trucks acting like they own the place. read more

Very convenient. U just can't beat a business that's open 24 hrs a day/night and the coffee is better than starbucks

It's a local hang out spot for teens, recently remolded; it doesn't help. Since I've lived here it has barely been stocked, the remold has limited what products they offer. The food is getting worse the further they try to expand their menu. The only upside to the location can be the staff, depending on what time of the day you go. Customer service was horrible. Ordered a medium chicken noodle. The soup was spilled inside the bag and was leaking down the counter. Had to ask for a new bag as it was not only spilled but leaking. Worker just took my half empty soup and put it in a new bag. Did not bother to wipe the container off that was dripping. I'm on a road trip and had to explain to her that I was eating this in my vehicle. Once I got the soup it was half empty with very little chicken, a total of 5 bites from a medium that cost me $5 I could have got a progressive soup with better quality. I guess this would be called "our" Wawa, since it's the one we're in most often. We like it! It's true that the parking lot is a little weird, but we always park in the back and walk, so we don't notice the weirdness much, any more. They have great coffee, of course, and it's always fresh and plentiful. Sandwiches are very good and consistent. Rest rooms are always clean and pleasant. (There are no paper towels, though, and their hot air blowers are ear-piercing, so I prefer to "air dry" my hands.) The staff is always helpful and individuals range anywhere from "perfectly nice" to "cheerful and fun". The gas is a good price and my car seems to approve of the quality. One caution: there was one morning on the way to work when I was almost running on fumes, so I stopped here. After five minutes of waiting (during which time I could have been in and out, if NJ trusted people to be able to pump their own gas, like we can in 48 other states [49 other states, now that it's 2018. Stuck in the past much, Jersey?]), I gave up and went to the Shell in the middle of Woodstown. Since that one instance, there's never been an issue with being helped within a minute, usually less, so I don't know if that was a fluke, someone called out sick, or maybe 6:30am on weekdays is just a really bad time to get gas there, but I only fill up there now when I have plenty of time to spare. This Wawa, or "YUMwa", as I call it, really is a convenience store. It's convenient to have a place where you can not only get your own coffee, but you can customize it however you'd like. Cinnamon? Creamer? FLAVORED creamer? 16 OZ? 12OZ? It's a smorgasbord of options! It's convenient to have a deli where you get your coffee. Tuna salad sandwiches made to order, sub sandwiches of all kinds, even sides like mac n' cheese and mashed potatoes, with butter! Just type in what you want at the kiosks right before the deli counter, you'll get a ticket, pay for your food and wait for your ticket number to be called. Very simple. Of course, it's convenient to have gas pumps where you get your sandwich and your coffee. Low on fuel? There's a pump for that! Be mindful that there are a limited amount of pumps, you might need to drive around before you find one. And, as other reviewers have said, watch out for other drivers. Don't get so excited about your Wawa experience, that you forget there's a car pulling out of a parking spot in front of you! Finally, it's convenient to have air for your tires where you get your gas, your sandwich, and your coffee. Seriously, FREE air! This is a great way to get people to be at least aware of your store. This also brings people into the store. They figure, "Hey, I need to fill up my tires", then, they get the urge for a coffee. Great practice. Seriously, Wawa was a great idea for a convenience store. All WAWA stores are great. I've been in dozens from NJ to VA. Recently they opened in FL. A simple description is: Imagine 7-11, only with better food, better people and a lot cleaner! And their hotdogs are the best you'll ever have. read more

This is the definition of a modern-day roadside stand. Positioned along Rt. 40 in Woodstown, everyone knows this Wawa as it the one used for pee breaks, gasoline fill-ups, etc. en route to and from Delaware. I have stopped here a gazillion times over the years. It is a new style Wawa, My only knock on this is the turn-in from the road bottlenecks because of the position of the gas tanks. read more
