I drove by this loaded, little general store many times before, and even stopped in once or twice for snacks, etc. First time I ordered subs was about 3 months ago, and again tonight. Today I decided to get back to basics and take a good long look at a cheesesteak. I went to a local Papi store. I'm not sure why I was charged $11 for a large cheesesteak with mushrooms when I could have gotten a small cheesesteak, french fries and a 12 ounce can of soda for $6.99. I'm driving from Bear to get there, so placing the order in person really isn't an option. For 7 adults, the order would have been over $100. Certainly not a small order. Checking out the new (to me) website, I saw orders can now be placed online. SCORE! Or so I thought. Mind you, this is not delivery, it's a pick up order; but the total charge didn't add up...so... I looked closer... They charge a "convenience fee", the same fee I would expect for delivery. To be clear, I'm saving your employees from answering the phone, writing down the order, and hoping they got it right. Right? You should be giving me a discount, if anything. Not penalizing me... Sorry. There's a great cheesesteak right across the street from you and they were happy to get my order. I still had to call it in but they're so darn friendly over there, I didn't mind. Think about this, Michael D. $1.50 just cost you $100. I'll check back and see if this changes... I sincerely hope it does.

We got in a few people ahead of us. It's a deli. You can get sliced meat and cheeses here. They have a hot menu and cold cuts menu. You order your sandwich and then grab your chips and drink. All items separate. We ordered a sandwich to share. A 20in Phillidalphia cheese steak. She asked what we wanted on it, and I asked her right back what she would put on it. She said everything. Done. We took a seat since we were eating in. Maybe about 12 seats inside. Right by the deli chiller, or the windows is what you get. It's not meant to be fancy as they are focused on food. Due to the rush, it took a few minutes, but it was served up soon. I was in shock. She had split it into 2 10-inch subs, and I couldn't believe how much food it was. Had to wait a few for it to cool. Once it did, I picked it up. The bread was soft. Not a fast food, hard bread. Delicately soft stuffed with delicious meat, pepper, mushrooms, and sweet peeps. So . Darn. Good.
