My wife and I started coming here for the cozy bar and solid bar food 3 years ago. We specifically liked the sandwiches. Yesterday we popped in because she was craving the a cutlet sandwich (the cutlets are great). I got the hot roast pork with provolone and broccoli rabe. It was so far from anything acceptable for a $14 sandwich that I couldn't even eat it. The provolone was straight out of the fridge, cold and crumbly. Very little pork and room temperature. Bad roll. I never send stuff back and I don't know if it was an off day but my wife's sandwich was poorly made as well. I'll be back but very wary of what I order

Stopped by this spot for a quick bite. Initially, was not sure to expect, but overall had a good experience! I got a hoagie which was pretty tasty. I also got coffee which was actually pretty good for a bar. My friends really enjoyed their food also. We'll be back!

The service was very poor. Orders were not prepared correctly. The drinks were never refilled. No one can over to check on how the food was or if anything further was needed.

This is a townie bar with all the good and bad that entails. A lot of solid food choices, my grilled honey bbq wings were a standout. The waitress was nice if a little frazzled. However we had the pleasure of listening to the loud, drunk conversation of a 55 year old townie whose birthday it was. Affordable and good food just be prepared for the local flavor.

Staff acted as if we were bothering them. Food just mediocre in taste. And the long hair in my chicken was the last straw.

Good food and service! Good food prices. My grown up Shirley was $10 for a pint class. Didn't expect that....

When we sat down, they gave us a menu that said soccer menu on it. the menu was filled with things like chicken fingers and mozza sticks. We asked if we could order off the regular menu and the waitress said no. If your here with a soccer player, that is your only option. The menu was filled with food for kids so we wanted to see the other menu. I guess the waitress got frustrated and maybe pegged us as city folk and said, " what do you want.,, salads?" nah lady we just wanted to see what else you offered. I love a good dive bar and the parents were ready to put down some beers but instead we got up and left because the waitress seemed annoyed by us because we didn't want to eat chicken fingers. Trying being nice to strangers and you'd make a fortune on tournament weeks. Plus the snotty remark about salads just shows your ignorance, we weren't from a woke city and wanted to run up a tab. don't judge a book by its cover.

I like how they put salt and pepper on the fries - most spots don't go the pepper route too but I dig it. Bacon was crispy and the cheese was melty - perfect grilled cheese. My bartender Ashley was awesome. Super attentive and fun to talk to. They take cards, including Amex. I'll definitely be back to try some other stuff on the menu.

There are burgers, tacos, and enough vegan options to please my family. Mom loves to eat, so we ordered way too much and had leftovers for days. The space looks like it gets lively on weekends. There's a jukebox (Mom danced). It's your typical NJ bar and grill, but they've spent time making it look nice. The backyard looks like a fun hang. We bought a bottle of wine made for them by a local winery. It was inexpensive and tasted pretty good. I'd buy it again.

Live music set a fun vibe and a large group for a bday added to the party atmosphere. We had the option of sitting right by the singer/guitarist or by the door. We were actually fine sitting by the performer but the waitress offered to show us the "speakeasy" and we decided to stay seated there. It was a quick walk out the back door where there was a fire pit and an outdoor bar area then back into the building and up the steps where there were 2 small rooms with seating, a bathroom, and a dim, small bar with stools and a separate booth. We decided to have a seat at the booth by the window. Drinks were limited in the speakeasy but the bartender did her best to make comparable drinks to what was available at the bars downstairs. The drinks we did order were made very well. Wings for appetizers were delicious. Nice sized wings with our choice of Korean bbq sauce. Since it is a Polish restaurant, I felt like I had to try the Polish classic ... Kielbasa w/pierogi, served w/slaw & sauerkraut, mustard, horseradish & sautéed onion. Dish was flavorful and filling. For dessert, we had to get the funnel cake fruit pierogi - served with ice cream. Yummmy! Service was also great, despite how busy it was. The rest of the menu had other types of food (not just Polish) and it all sounded great. I also love places like this that have monthly specials. The drink menu also had a lot of unique and delicious sounding options. I'd definitely come back and the brunch menu looks intriguing. I'll probably give this place a 5 star review when I try more things on the menu.
