I wish I could give more than 5 stars honestly. I moved down from North Jersey and was unable to find a good pie. Today, my husband and I went here. I can't rave enough about it. I will start with the atmosphere. It has a really cool vibe and there are different themes to the rooms. The staff was incredible. So friendly and helpful and patient. Now the food. I can't say enough. If you over look the salad (yes I said salad), you are missing out. It was top 2 best salads I ever had. It was simple but delicious. The pizza, is the best I have had in South Jersey. The crust is thin and the flavors of the sauce is amazing. I highly recommend the original pie as well as the buffalo chicken. Don't forget the homemade ranch and Bleu cheese. Desert is made in house and was just as incredible as everything else. Only thing to be mindful of, parking is a little tricky and they only take cash or venmo. You guys have gained customers for life. We will absolutely be back soon!

This pizza is thinner than a cracker and absolutely delicious. I'm someone who prefers thicker crust but i was pleasantly surprised to love the thin crispiness of this pizza along with the homemade sauce. I was able to eat the whole pie with one other friend snd feel so satisfied. its also amazing that you can customize your pie with two different flavors. definitely a hidden gem

Holy Tomato is the cutest hidden gem! We drove by a few times thinking it was just a house! But inside is the coziest, most welcoming spot. Service was excellent! So friendly and attentive from start to finish. We had the Famous House Salad to start and then shared the Original Pie with Italian sausage. The crust was crisp and perfect. The staff recommended the Good Karma local wine, which paired perfectly with our meal. Can't wait to come back. This place is a treasure! Thank you from Texas!

Our first night out after arriving in South Jersey for our visit was absolutely delicious! We went to Holy Tomato Pies (9 S Black Horse Pike, Gloucester Township) and had a salad and "margarita" pizza. We added mushrooms to the pie and got a side of anchovies for my husband (lovely presentation of the anchovies, but forgot to take a picture since I was already digging into the pizza when they arrived). Holy Pies is BYOB (which we didn't take advantage of since we had just gotten off a 10-day cruise and our livers needed a break) and only accepts cash or venmo. The decor in there is fun and eclectic. We arrived at just the right time, I think it was shortly after six, and there was only one other table occupied inside, but within 15 minutes or so the place was packed and every table was full. I don't know how we managed to time it so well, but yay for us! Loved the friendly and welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. Holy Tomato says that their salads (you can get a nice house salad with lettuce, tomato, and olive assortment, pepperoncini, and toasted sesame seeds, or a Caesar salad) feed two as a side salad, but they're huge and will easily feed four. The delicious pie was also huge, so we're happy to be staying in a hotel with a refrigerator and microwave and are looking forward to the leftovers. It was perfect, with generous helpings of mozzerella, fresh tomato slices and basil. Couldn't even think about dessert since we were so stuffed, but I did enjoy their housemade raspberry lemonade (a LOT!) that pretty much served as a non-alcoholic sangria with its assortment of fruit chunks and berries. Our server said some customers add alcohol to it, which I imagine would be darn good. Note that the prices shown on Yelp are outdated and so you're better off going to their website for current pricing. Everything we had was well worth the price. It was a fun and delicious evening!

We celebrated my son's birthday there. We had such a warm hospitality experience from all the staff . They are the best! We ordered 3 pizzas, salad, and few other choices. Everything was delicious! We love this place and it is always nice to go back! Thank you for your beautiful place and your staff are wonderful.

just totally unappealing - getting tossed out! (8/9/22)

WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! We hadn't been in years for some reason. Now we won't be for good reason! Terrible pizza AND salad !!! They HAD to have changed owners or the cooks! We're talking night and day difference! You can tell from "jump," just by the looks of it. Tomatoes didn't taste good, plus very acidic! Before my dad THREW IT OUT, he dropped off a slice to my sister to confirm our thoughts. WHAT A SHAME! (my mom called to complain, and the person wanted to give a credit (a big no thanks) or a refund.)

I really like this restaurant and the food. Their menu prices are reasonable, however, their specials threw me. They had Mexican street corn for a side that came in 5 half ears. $16.00??? A family size pizza was only $14.00. How is that? I can only say I'm shocked. Very!

The pickle pizza is to die for. I had that, their chicken Alfredo, and the margarita. All were great but the pickle one was beyond great.

Great food and service. My kids loved the pizza and they can be extremely picky, so its a win in my book.

Love their pizza. Thin, crispy, and yummy tomato sauce. Easily can see a big eater or man polish off a whole pie themselves.

Higher up this tier you encounter very expensive examples of single source or small batch offerings. These can be very expensive and not something for everyday consumption. Lindt hits that sweet spot( so to speak) of good everyday quality with interesting flavors and creamy melt in your mouth feel. This shop carries so many types of their truffles that I didn't even know which to try first. Good thing that they also have some pretty tasty sales on them. Along with pick your own truffles, they also have pick your own European candies. These looked very enticing and worthy of further research. Their barks were also a revelation, even the white chocolate with fruits and nuts tasted better than any white chocolate I've ever had. And we finally tried their frozen drink concoction that is not quite a shake, more like a liquified candy burst. I plan on doing more shopping here..... for Christmas gifts. Really. Ok, if a few wind up in my stocking, that's cool too.

Both enchilada entrees had chicken in them when they were supposed to be cheese only - so naturally we called to get a refund due to the fact that we drove 35min to the restaurant based on the recommendation. we get the food back home and my mother in law takes a bite and finds chicken. so my fiance checks hers - sure enough, chicken in that one. She has been vegetarian for almost 13 years now. We call them to try to get it sorted out and politely explain that we received food that we did not order and that we would like a refund for the two entrees that were wrong. The woman who answered the phone told us that they're happy to exchange the meals for the correct ones - and at this point we're disappointed enough to not want to drive back so we again ask for a refund. They tell us they're not sure they can do that so we ask for a manager - the manager proceeds to talk over us and raises his voice and tells us "bring the food back and we'll give you a new meal" and hangs up on us. We will absolutely never be ordering from or eating at this establishment ever again and I suggest if you're vegan or vegetarian - you don't either, because they don't give half a shit about you.
