Called in for delivery on a Wednesday night. We're only about 5ish mins from the restaurant, but they must've been slammed bc the delivery for 1 hoagie and 1 wrap was at least 35-40 minutes. The hoagie was my part of the order and it was a 10/10. The flavor, the size for the price, the quality of the roll and toppings.. so. good. I just ordered the Godmother sandwich delivery. It came to the house super fast and was delicious. It was chicken cutlet with vodka sauce and mozzarella. The toasted roll was perfect, the cheese was creamy, the chicken was juicy and crispy and the vodka sauce was great. My 8 year old and I split the sandwich for lunch and both agreed we'd get it again. read more

Best food overall! Pizza w a sauce you get only here. It's the owners' Moms recipe, as are the homemade meatballs, sauces, and soups here. Steaks w absolutely no gristle, like some others, filled to the top of the roll and then some. Their Buffalo chicken sauce recipe is under lock and key its sooo good! Used on their Buffalo chicken boneless Tenders, large portions of chicken breast w a light coating not breaded. Hoagies so good, thin sliced meats and cheese w all the toppings. We're had Giofano's a few times before, and the quality was pretty good. It was good enough to get us to switch from Antonino's. But lately, things just haven't been right. Most recently: underdone pizza and burned garlic with garlic knots. Disappointing. **EDIT 4/24** I'm happy to say that Giofano's shows a concern for for the satisfaction of its customers. When you call with a wrong order the girl in charge STILL tries to say they are right and you were wrong. Looks Like it will be years again before I try to order from here again. I've ordered from here before and most of the food is usually above average. Tonight.. The food was out of this world! First of all, GrubHub told me delivery time would be 55-65 minutes. My food was here, hot & fresh, within 25 minutes of ordering--delivered by the same courteous fella who usually delivers here. It took everything inside of me not to devour the food as soon as I set in on the table. It all looked so delicious but I first wanted to get some pictures to share. I ordered penne Alfredo (instead of fettuccine), and the "Godmother sandwich" which is the restaurant's cool play on a chicken parm. sandwich made with vodka sauce instead of regular tomato sauce. Let's just say, the food tasted as delicious as it looked & smelled!! Not to mention, the pasta was served with a super fresh salad and some of the most insane garlic bread I've ever had. I ate what I could. Am currently stuffed... And still have enough food left to package up and send away to help feed at least half of a third world county. Anyway, I really enjoy it here. Just moved down the street from them and was desperate to find a good pizza place. Tried a couple others before coming here and I have to say the pizza was by far much better then surrounding pizzerias. Unfortunately I went back a few days later and had a chicken cheesesteak that was subpar at best. Service was still great but I would be careful getting anything besides the pizza sadly. read more

If you want the best pizza ever, you have to come here, I had their pizza twice, once at somebody's house when they ordered our pizza and it was so delicious I asked them where they got the pizza so next time I was in the area I stopped and got it myself and it was just as delicious as that first time, it's consistently good, fresh, and everything is made there, some Italian restaurants pretend that they make them but this testator, they make everything there, the meatballs are made there everything is made there it's all homemade, the most delicious pizza ever I want to try some of their other stuff too...and the nicest people as well when I was waiting for my pizza I was talking to the grandfather and his grandson who worked there and they're very nice people and very appreciative of their customers, the best pizza ever you have to go here. Looks like I need to throw out the menu. For a while I was ordering once a week, I enjoyed the food, the rolls were very fresh, the cheesesteaks were packed with meat. I ordered about 2 months ago, and got a cheesesteak that was dripping wet, the bread was soggy, and water was running out of the sandwich. It turned me off, so I took a break. Tonight I ordered a cheesesteak and an order of onion rings. Not enough meat on the entire sandwich to make one half. Burnt, dry meat, could barely find the cheese, and a burnt roll! Onion rings were put in styrofoam container (big mistake) one big pile of mush! Use a paper bag, plus styrofoam is bad for the environment! Took 45min for delivery at 6pm on a Wednesday night. I love this place! They have the best wings I ever had! They are big and crispy. Just the perfect amount of breading where its crispy but doesnt seem to be breaded. Try the Garlic Parm! It's different... i put it on my fries it's not just oil and garlic like other places... just had a Cheesesteak for the first time and it was meaty and the softest bread i had WOW! I stopped by because I wanted a turkey hoagie. I knew from past experience that this place uses turkey meat that is nearly cut off freshly from the bird instead of the processed stuff. When I carried it out of the store, I couldn't help but notice how thick the sandwich felt. It was a delicious hoagie. I couldn't help myself and got two slices of pizza as well. I was hesitant on ordering because of the rating but let me say as a newbie to S Jersey from Long Island this is exactly the pizza I was missing. I havent been impressed with any of the pizza I've tried so far. The half pepperoni half plain cheese pizza I got was perfect. The crust was that perfect chewy crispy NOT the thin sliced pizza I see all over S Jersey. The pepperoni is great. Pizza had the perfect amount of oil on it. Garlic knots were great. The godmother sandwich (chicken parm with vodka sauce) was fantastic. The chicken was really nice and crispy, not a mushy mess . It had numerous slices cut on the thinner side rather than 1 too-thick slice. My only comment would be that I couldn't taste the vodka sauce all that well. Whether it's because it was a sandwich & it soaked into the bread, or just not enough sauce I'm not sure, but it needs some more of that vodka sauce flavor. I'd still order it again and maybe just request extra sauce on the side. The food was delivered and still HOT. The value for what I ordered was fantastic.
