Food is ok place looks alot better then it did that's for sure an the pizza is good taste better then it has in the past it's ok for a fast lunch only issue I have is there buffalo chicken cheesesteaks used to be really good and they're not anymore. Everyone seemed confused as to what was going on. They asked me 4 times what I ordered. The wait was a little long, but definitely worth it once I got my food. The pepperoni Stromboli was amazing. Not only is the food absolutely amazing here but so is the service. We recently had a mixup with DoorDash which seems to happen more often than not and the nice people at this restaurant delivered the correct order to us. I only WISH i could say how wonderful the food is. It was promised at 909 pm. It is 930 and we tried to call the restaurant but they didnt answer but wanted me to leave a message. We called the delivery service and they put us on hold for 8 min and then came on and advised us that they couldnt reach the restaurant or the driver. They asked if we could hold another five or ten minutes. Um. No. This restaurant is across the street from the hotel. For real. Asked for a refund. They told us that we have to get the refund from the restaurant except they are not answering their phone. My daughter just put her shoes on to drive across the street to demand a refund. I was having some work done on my car across the street so I was on foot. John's was the closest place for lunch so off I went. It looks like a thousand other pizza joints in a typical plaza with typical décor and a typical menu. It was clean and the aromas were enticing. I ordered two slices of Cheesesteak Hoagie pizza and grabbed a 20 oz. soda from the cooler. I sat in a typical booth to wait but not for long. It was a pleasure watching this family run their business. They clearly care about their customers. My slices arrived and they were massive and tasty. The tab was about $10 but I made a big mistake ordering two slices. One would have made a fine, filling and economical lunch. A simple and quick three star experience that got the job done. read more

The pizza crust, incredible. Not too thin, but nice and crispy. The topping on the pizza? Not so much. The cheese appeared to not be fully melted. Ordered buffalo fries as well - flavor was okay, but there was so much liquid in the container that the fries were saturated in whatever greasy sauce was on them. I moved here about a year ago . The first time I had the cheese steak here I was hooked. UNTIL NOW. I know what I like and don't so I always gef6 the sa6 thing. Tonite they sent something totally different and DISGUSTING!! I call to explain the situation and she basically told me I have no idea what I was talking about and just plain still stupid. It's a shame now because all the people I told about this place will probably be as horrified at the situation. There was NO SORRY!! and nothing to rectify the situation. Great food, great value - plus the pleasure of buying pizza from what appears to be a tight knit little italian family. they often mail out coupons that keep a pie around $9.00. I mostly get their neopalitan pie, but i've used their scicilians for parties.My family refers to them as Original Johns because a Papa Johns is accross the street, and it goes without saying that original John's gives you the quality and taste of a real pizzaria that the chains never will. But John's quality is also a meaningful step up from other local staples like Pat's, Pizza From Heaven on Sicklerville Rd., and Bella Pizza on the pike. I think they're comparable in quality to Milano pizza, but the prices are better. The only place that hit that sweet spot of great pizzaria style taste combined with better than reasonable price's was the late Anna's that used to be in the Shoprite plaza. Let's hope John's keeps going! They're my favorite Pizza in town. read more

We frequently order take out from here. Occasionally we call when we're on our way home & it is ready for us to eat there. There is usually the same staff there so they are friendly & accommodating. They have great steak sandwiches & the pizza is good too. There are so many pizza places around. They are better then average & clean!!! It's a typical pizza joint with some tables for seating. Pretty broad menu w/ pastas & salads as well. I've never had bad food from here & since I'm a finicky eater if I've had a problem with something they fix it easily. I highly recommend this place. If you want food around this area there are many much better options where you can get what you want, it actually tastes good, and they don't flip out on you for their mistake. Tonight was the first time that I ordered pizza from John's. I just ordered 2 large w/ extra cheese (to try them out w/ my family). VERY GOOD NY style pizza! Nice chewy crust, and tart sauce (not ubber sweet like some of the chain joints). The sauce tasted homemade! Delivery was VERY prompt, and came even before the scheduled time. Pizza was still steaming as the driver pulled it from the pizza pouch. My only one complaint (it was very minor to me) was that being that I ordered extra cheese, some of the cheese melted off of the pizza and puddled in the corner of the one box. I usually get extra cheese because most places skimp, now I know that I don't have to at John's because they don't! Very Good! read more

My husband and I have tried pretty much all of the pizza places in the area and Johns is by far our favorite. We won't order from anywhere else, it's that good! They have fantastic deals as well.
