On a whim, I got a bacon, egg, and cheese on a jalapeno bagel. The bagel sandwich tasted okay, more on the plain side overall, including the jalapeno bagel itself. It was unexpectedly more expensive than I thought it would be for a bagel sandwich too. Service was friendly, and there is a 3% surcharge when paying with a credit card. There is also dine-in seating, and Westmont Bagel is located in a large plaza, so there is plenty of parking. 2/5.

I really enjoy the bagel here! Great texture: good bite and soft inside. I got an egg bagel with jalapeño cream cheese... I didn't love the cream cheese. It was red and I wish it had more jalapeño flavor Down to try their other bagels and cream cheeses tho!

Possibly one of the greatest family owned breakfast joint in south jersey. Service is quick and the food never fails!

Oh, Westmont. My lover. My friend. My everything. For real, you want a REAL local spot, come here. The place was started by the now passed-on father, and it's a mostly family run business. They have old framed newspaper articles and pictures and other memorabilia from when they first opened. They're super efficient. And the food is super delicious. Bagels, breakfast platters, sandwiches, burritos. Coffee, juice, pastries. Westmont has it all. I'd usually get a burrito stuffed with potatoes, bacon, pepper Jack and avocado. Wildly yummy. The joint is usually a little packed. So be patient and treat these guys well. We love to support local businesses!!

I'm a self proclaimed bagel snob and a fan of Westmont Bagel. They aren't New York bagels but the void for bagels can be filled here. They are slays soft and chewy on the inside with a nice crisp bagel shell on the outside. I'll usually get a baker's dozen delivered and they'll stay good for days without needing to be frozen. The low fat cream cheese and veggie cream cheese are on point. I've never had a problem with getting my bagel selection ordering delivery around 9ish on a weekday morning. They are easily ordered through Grubhub.

I wanted to stop by to continue my adventure of finding my favorite South Jersey bagel. Bagels are one of my favorite foods, so I'd consider myself pretty picky in critiquing what I try. I came in on a weekday after placing an online order via their Toast ordering platform. The employee behind the counter was extremely friendly and greeted me nicely. Besides my personal online order, I decided to place an in-store order for a friend. Considering I walked in around noon, I was happy to see a solid variety of flavors still available. I was also really satisfied with the vast variety of cream cheese flavors they have. I decided to pick up a tub of their house-made Funfetti Cream cheese for home. My online order was ready as soon as I walked in, and my in-person order took about 5 minutes to be prepped. Even though I was ordering to-go, I noticed they have a very nice eating area past their preparation counter. Once I received my order, I was excited to see what this place has to offer. I went for a Marble bagel with Funfetti cream cheese. While I thought the "Marble" was a rainbow bagel, it's similar to a pumpernickel and white marble. Nevertheless, I wasn't mad at what I got. After trying my bagel, I was satisfied. The texture is was decent, with a good outside crunch. The cream cheese portion was decent, and the Funfetti flavor was strong. The bagel size falls somewhere in the middle of other places I've tried; I've had larger but also smaller. Overall, service and product selection at this place are awesome. The bagel is fresh and decently flavorful. It's not the best bagel I've ever eaten, but it's somewhere I would still stop by again for not only bagels but a specialty sandwich.

Good things come to those who wait and the wait is long (anywhere from 20-45min) on a weekend at Westmont Bagel, but worth it. The eggs never fail to surprise me and the bagels are A++.

Just paid $30 for two bagels with egg(not any meat) & two chocolate milks. WOWWWWW!!!!!???????

Was not super impressed with my everything bagel. Bagel was small, chewy similar to a dinner roll, and hardly had any toppings. I had garlic herb cream cheese which was so runny and melted, it got all over everywhere but the bagel. They have an option for extra cream cheese for a surcharge. I did not get this as I find it ridiculous, but I wish I did because my bagel to cream cheese ration was not enough. The cream cheese spilled out all over since it was so runny, leaving multiple places dry. Breakfast wrap was described as "just okay" by my fiancé. We ordered online and picked up. It was an easy and quick handoff. Due to the bagel quality, will probably not return.

I stuck with my usual two eggs, which were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. My fiancée ordered the Pretty Toast, their take on French toast, topped with cream cheese, pecans, and sweetened peaches. It honestly reminded me of peach cobbler! When I saw her plate, my jaw dropped--I was instantly jealous! She let me steal a couple of bites, and it was absolutely delicious. It's one of those dishes you could enjoy for breakfast, brunch, or even as a sweet snack. The food was a solid 10/10. Our server, Ben, was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. He took the time to tell us a little about the menu and even suggested we try something different. Looking back... I probably should have listened! The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and inviting. It honestly felt like sitting in your nonna's kitchen--warm, comfortable, and full of charm. We can't wait to come back and work our way through the dinner menu. The vibes are "cozy, coffee snob but they're cool about." We decide to go with an Americano for me, a cappuccino for the misses, two breakfast sandwiches and a peanut butter chocolate muffin for The Little One. Meh. My Americano tasted like TEA. Like straight up Earl Gray. I let The Misses try before I told her what I ordered, and she said, "why did you order TEA?" By that point, it was busy and I didn't feel like making a fuss about it, but if you dilute my DOUBLE espresso so much it tastes like tea, or you just straight up gave me the wrong drink, we are off to a bad start. The misses Cappuccino cup was half full, and half of that half was foam. And the part that wasn't foam wasn't even good. I'm sensing that you just shouldn't get anything involving espresso from the ol Brown Dog Cafe. The breakfast sandwiches were also.....meh. They worked, but absolutely nothing you couldn't get microwaved from Starbucks or Dunkin. Now the muffin was an absolute winner. I'll give Mimi her credit here. Maybe they should turn into a bakery and forego the coffee stuff. ANYwho...I don't see a reason to go back. Our table was dirty where we sat, and we actually just cleaned it ourselves with wipes before sitting down. We cleaned it ourselves after for whomever would come in after us, since it was clear the staff weren't going to do it. It's a cozy place to settle in and eat a muffin and maybe a regular coffee, but I certainly wouldn't be ordering another Americano from them anytime soon.

Management and ownership have never attended a tea service or researched how to host one Each table is limited to two selections and two pots of tea. Don't agree? Oh well. Refills? Extra charge. But wait you actually receive three pots of tea because upon seating a pot of the "seasonal" herbal tea is served whether you like it or not.m Additionally serving milk with black tea selections is apparently not standard practice here and needs to be specifically requested. The Earl Grey tea is excellent First course: salad. Hopefully no one in your party has severe nut allergies because before even taking tea selections a plate of spring mix buried under a pile of walnuts is dropped in front of you. Those in our party able to eat the salad did not enjoy it Second course: savouries. Finger sandwiches were fresh. Chicken salad was excellent. Egg salad on croissant was good I personally disagree with quiche being served as it's non-traditional but it is accepted in many circles and the quiche was also good However I have absolutely no doubt that the chicken salad and egg salad were scooped out of premade tubs from Sysco or Restaurant Depot judging by the sweets Scones: underbaked. Disappointing given reviews raving about them. Maybe we received a bad batch maybe the local population has never had a decent scone. Will not be returning to find out Presumably since the savoury scone (an abomination in my opinion) was served in the same course as a sweet scone the only butter served was a savoury herb butter. As a result there was no butter available for the "butterscotch" scone and there would not have been enough anyway considering we received about a tablespoon of butter and two tablespoons of both other toppings between five people The "clotted cream" has been addressed as it was the most offensive part of enduring this experience. Rather than a traditional jam or marmalade none of which we were served we were given a "mango compote." How someone decided mango and butterscotch are complementary I have no idea. Anyone in this industry would recognize Reàl purée squeezed out of a plastic bottle Sweets: thaw and serve La Boulangerie des Gourmets frozen macarons (which include a pistachio flavor and are packaged in one tray so again watch for nut allergies if you think you're safe eating a lemon macaron as this obviously isn't disclosed). I see these are being sold separately outside of the tea service 6/$14. They are 57¢ ea Chocolate mousse mix piped into a plastic cup with a processed whipped topping. The most edible dessert Menu lists lemon cheesecake server identified small tarts as key lime pie. Not sure which we received but can note the filling at least (probably not the tart shell) is made in house because we received more than one batch with one having not even a hint of citrus Saving the worst for last the "strawberry" cupcake. First and foremost cupcakes chocolate mousse and macarons (and most egregious cannolis listed on the children's menu) are not standard sweets served with afternoon tea. But this cupcake? The cupcakes we were served here were the driest cake I have ever seen in my life completely inedible. The frosting was some sort of processed palm oil goo and neither cake nor frosting had any strawberry flavor Atmosphere and service: service was friendly albeit casual slow and not attentive. Server was not very knowledgeable. Not her fault Space was fine if gaudy. Table was crowded. I share another reviewer's sentiment but the table cloth was about a foot longer than the table was high which made sitting movement or pushing a chair in difficult. It felt like wearing a heavy blanket that was pulled taut the entire experience Paper napkins and plastic dishes. At over $40 per person you would expect more As a side note standard afternoon tea practice is being offered or asking for additional items the guests like. However the menu had prices listed for additional sides of all items served on the tea service. Given the quality vs cost this felt particularly gauche It's hard to comprehend why the owners or management here can't get the tea service right. The hardest part is finger sandwiches and freshness which they seem to have managed. Good quality premade desserts are available and scones are not difficult to make. It honestly seems like a lack of effort on their part or a lack of respect for their customers which is frustrating All in all a very expensive abysmal experience. I'm sure there are decent afternoon teas available in this area at a similar price. Fortnum and Mason and the Covent Garden Hotel in London both known for afternoon teas charge £45 per person Two stars for the chicken salad server and Earl Grey

However, we also ordered their highly recomended chicken mofongo and.. it was not good at all. For one, for the amount of actual food you get it is NOT worth $27. That alone made the dish bad, but then we tried the rest and it was bland and also.. dry? idk, dish wasn't good at all . Very overpriced, and I would never get or recommend someone order that ever again. Another minor issue, on their take out menue they have a bunch of coupons. One was for $5 off orders over $30 or something like that. i asked to use it, despite there being an expiration date of 12/31/25 on it. I figure, 'you're putting these out still, so you must still be honoring this coupon, right?" NO. The host asked a manager and they said they "shouldn't have put those menus out.' But just for some business advise.. it's $5 off for a first time customer that would have potentially come back and even told others to do so. Not now though.
