I called in a sandwich order, she said pickup in 15 mins so i waited 20 mins and went over there but they hadnt even started so i left. They dont feel that your time is important. This was a very disappointing place. Let me start by saying I pass this place everyday on my way home from the gym and today I decided to finally stop. I wish I never did. I went in and ordered a pork roll and cheese on a Kaiser with pepper and ketchup. I also got four donuts being that's what they're known for. When I got home, I opened my sandwich and they gave me one big piece of pork roll that wasn't crisp enough and had no flavor and egg that was half egg and half pepper. No cheese at all. That sandwich, was the worst pork roll sandwich I have ever eaten. On to the donuts. Maybe if they were fresh I would feel differently. However, my experience was that the donuts were stale. Let's give this small business some love! I was craving some good old fashioned comfort food and lo and behold I found my grilled cheese at Jack's Donuts in Laurel Springs on the White Horse Pike. stopped by while visiting the area. pretty much as I was making a u-turn in the parking lot, I decided to stop in for lunch. It's a cute retro looking place with donuts, breakfast & lunch. I settled on a chicken salad sandwich and waited a short time at the counter. the sandwich was very tasty, chicken with finely chopped red onion & green peppers, mayo lettuce & tomato on toasted wheat. there were no chips or anything extra on the plate, but it didn't really bother me. I grew up in Laurel Springs & as a teen we would head to Jacks often. Out of curiosity I drove by to see if they're still open, pleasantly surprised that they are not only still open but they're thriving. I stopped in and grabbed a dozen donuts. Everyone here was very nice but I agree with some others, I'm not sure I understand the hype with the food. I wouldn't usually write a review but I definitely was very excited to eat here after the reviews and it was a bit of a let down. The person with me got a sandwich and I got a donut. After we reminded the person behind the counter that I had ordered something too, we had our food and it was just not great. Not horrible but also not great. Awesome donuts! Unlike Dunkin' "day old" Donuts, Jack's are always fresh and delicious! The coffee and breakfast sandwiches here are just as good! The staff is very friendly too! Just FYI though, It's not too big inside with limited space to sit down at the counter or a few small tables to eat, but I think most people get their coffee, donuts, and sandwiches to go. It's probably best to call ahead IF you are ordering a breakfast or lunch sandwich since everything is made to order. Not sure why someone put that they don't take credit cards, but they do accept debit & credit cards, but I think there is a $10 minimum order to use plastic instead of cash. read more

Sub-par food and rude management. I've been to jacks donuts over the years and their food has always been great!! The best!! However, since new owners took over, the prices have skyrocketed and the quality of food just isn't there. This is probably the third time I've been there since it was sold and this morning after my experience I just knew that I would never be back. I walked in and it was obvious the heat wasn't on or broke because it was colder in there than it was outside. The 2 customers in there had coats on and so did the owner. I ordered my food which came out barely warm. I also ordered a coffee roll which was definitely atleast one day old. When I got up to pay, I had a coupon from Clipp magazine and the owner who rang me up seemed very agitated that I wanted to use it and she had no clue how to ring it up. The whole experience was bad and for me, I'll never go back. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

They make theme here in house and anything with vanilla is made with real vanilla bean, which I'm sure cannot be said by most other donut shops. We had the vanilla cream delight and the apple filled donuts. Jacks donuts are light and airy and jammed full of whatever you chose for the filling. My apple filling tasted like an apple pie and the vanilla cream delight was whipped perfectly and really smooth.
