Listen....it's a Canadian Dunkin Donuts. But just like most non-american contemporaries, this place is a step above it's American counterpart. Much like Toronto vs NYC, Tim Hortons is way cleaner, and way more polished than DD. The coffee here is also pretty decent. I will drive past both DD and Wawa to get a Tim Hortons coffee instead of those two shit water offerings. It's not La Columbe or anything, but it's a much better cup o' joe than any other fast food joint. I haven't had the food here, but I imagine it will follow the trend of being better than similar spots, while not tricking you into thinking it's fine dining or anything. Recommended. read more

Some may disagree with me, but I'd rank Tim Hortons just under Starbucks when it comes to quick breakfast food and coffee. Everything was solid. We arrived to find the dining room mostly empty and plenty of staff behind the counter. There was even a staff member handwashing windows with Windex and wipes. Amazing. The doughnut selection was out of this world. Honestly pretty impressive. My favorite has always been strawberry frosted so I ordered one of those. It was the perfect round shape and not mushy. The icing and sprinkles were in tact. I knocked off one star for the breakfast sandwich - I asked for egg and cheese on an English muffin and it arrived with a sausage patty on it. Thankfully I noticed it before biting into it but it could have been dangerous otherwise. The egg was cooked beautifully and the cheese was melty. Finally, the coffee. Caramel iced coffee with no sugar, just cream. The sugar wasn't needed! The caramel balanced it out in the best way and it wasn't bitter whatsoever. Additionally, I purchased a 12 pack of K cups decaf coffee to try at home. I enjoyed it here and can see why it's such a popular breakfast chain. My husband is Canadian and not that that counts for anything but Tim Hortons originated in Canada and now that Burger King has bought this business. The place is always clean and very well kept the ambience is very corporate, but that's OK. The United States is very different than how other countries run their business. It is more about building relationships and being kind to other people The people here in the states really need to step up their game of kindness because most of their offers come across as if they're saving you money but I just got a three dollar hot breakfast sandwich deal however I paid $8.51 For this deal and it's not even about the money, it is more about how the attitude of the person who served me in the window, treated me. She was very abrupt and very abrasive and not very nice and not kind at all. I don't mind paying $10 but if you treat me kindly that will make me remember how I felt when I experienced your business Otherwise I don't think I'll be back until I go back to Canada to visit where they treat you kind and good. read more

What happened to QUALITY??? I have long abandoned the DD chain because their products are only good for door stops and window props. Had visited a Tim Horton in Montreal and it was fabulous. Came state side and had to deal with a different reality. We bought 3 raspberry powder and 3 Boston cream doughnuts. The Boston cream was decent but the jelly was VERY DISAPPOINTING. 90% dough and 10% filling. Their cruller doughnuts have a decent flavor. The food tasted like a bad Great value version of McDonald's. The breakfast sandwich - egg & sausage on an English muffin and hash browns were so stale it felt like you were eating cardboard. The iced coffee was just okay, but the Caramel iced Capp was inedible. I swear it was like someone tried to liquefy a bowl of sugar, and the "whipped cream" had a super thick Cool Whip texture. This was a regrettable breakfast experience but at least I can finally say I tried Tim Hortons. read more

Ok, I kind of liked this place until now! So I was offered through the Tim Horton App a $3.00 breakfast sandwich with the purchase of any size coffee? So we ordered An egg, sausage, and cheese bagel and then I was informed the the bagel was not included in that offer. WTF It did not say that on the offer in the app until you clicked on it and read the rest of the shit, very deceiving by the whole Tim Horton corporation. So we canceled the order and went back to the local convenience store across the street. And also they have made mistakes on previous orders like giving us the wrong donuts. This place can give Panera a run for the money. The quality of the food is good and the donut was tasty. The ambiance is on par with a fast casual restaurant. The challenge for this restaurant will be in the area of service. In particular, I asked what is included with the lunch combo meal. The answer was much more complicated than I had expected. And serving the meal took a long time. Another customer was also frustrated by the slow speed of service. I won't pan Tim Horton's for this experience, and I'll probably return. read more

I am so disappointed. And I wanted this place to be great since I was skating on ice when Tim Horton was on the Canadiens way before the Flyers. The service is on par with Dunkin and it looked like I was in a Dunkin. The coffee was ok but nothing to write home about. What kind of creme is in the donut? What kind of jelly? I can't say anything bad about his place. The exterior and interior are made very nicely, the decorations are good, the sound in there is moderate. The food there is good, the has-brown was cooked perfectly. The sandwich was good as well.
