I went here for the first time today and had a great experience! When I arrived I used their kiosk to place my order and it was ready within a minute or two. I had a plain bagel with cream cheese on the side. The bagel was great quality and delicious! They also gave me a generous amount of cream cheese which was great! Nothing this cafe doesn't have. Gelato, smoothies, great bagels coffee and a huge case of pastries and desserts. They even have a kiosk you can order from when you walk in. I've been here a few times and the mango gelato is refreshing and the coffee station is setup nice !! I went with an onion bagel with lox cream cheese. This is the second time that I've ordered a bakers dozen bagels (13) and added an Asiago bagel (which is not a selection for the dozen). Just got home and have 12 bagels in the bag, not 14. You order online and the bag sits by the door so if they are out of something, they should allow you to pick another kind of bagel and not short you. Gelato is creamy, smooth and always has alternative flavors. The scoop vary by 1,2 or 3 but you can grab a quart too. Breakfast sandwiches always feel lighter on the meat than they should but for the price it's understandable. Personally would prefer to see more meat for another buck. Bagels have various options to work with your sandwich. Coffee is mediocre, but it's only $1.99 with free refills so it gets the job done caffeine wise. 2 locations this is the newest of the 2 (1 in Cinnaminson as well.) can't wait for them to extend the hours to go more head on with cups and cones for summer season. read more

The service was top tier. I went here first after ordering a to good to go mystery bag and when I got there around closing, I watched the sweetest girl ever behind the counter very patiently attend to a very elderly group 10 minutes before closing. The girl helped each of the large group figure out exactly which gelato they wanted and did not rush them or anything in their choices, checked in with me to tell me she would be with me shortly, and then proceeded to help each person with a big beautiful smile. As she was packing up my to good to go order, a bicyclist walked in and asked if she could fill up her water bottle with tap water because it was so hot out, and again this sweet girl went ahead and helped her out too. When it was time for my order, she let me choose whatever I wanted for my bag and again was super friendly and sweet to me as well. I have since been back a handful of times and tried their bagels. Well after one instance of the male morning employee being extremely rude when he made my sandwich wrong, 3 times, I decided to never bring my business back. Today, my other half decided to stop and get 2 iced lattes, which the male decided to make hot, and then water down when was informed that we ordered ice. When asked to remake the coffee we ordered, the same male had attitude yet again. The common theme here isn't the food being bad, it's the employees lack of focus and then in turn the consistent attitude by the male employees. I can officially say, I will NEVER return. Came on a Sunday after church to get some breakfast. The woman at the counter was very friendly and took our order promptly. I ordered a bacon, egg, and cheese on an egg bagel. The food came out quickly and was hot and fresh. The bagels are on the smaller side, but were very delicious! They also have a wide variety of pastries and gelati. Against my better judgment, I tried giving this place a 2nd chance. My mother was with me and wanted a breakfast bagel. Their door was propped wide open so we assumed they were open. As soon as we walked in the door, a woman from the back yelled that they were closed. Why the hell was their door wide open then? My mom actually asked them, if you're closed, why is your door wide open? And the woman was like "What?" All cocky like she was going to mouth off to my 72 year old mother. We turned to walk out and she couldn't get us out fast enough. My mom walks with a cane. She said something to the effect that just bc their door is open doesn't mean they're open. I'm sure the general public would disagree. If you see a business door propped WIDE OPEN, one would assume they are welcoming business. NOT THIS PLACE. They prob just need to close. This place is horrible and I've never even made it far enough to even place an order. BOTH TIMES I was there. I will not give them a 3rd try. The wait is too long for your food. You order at the counter and then stand there forever. They don't bring the food out to you so you have to go inside and wait if your sitting outside. They rush you to order and again it was not busy and our first time there so we were not familiar with the menu. We ordered our bagels toasted and they were not warm. The brownie cheesecake looked delicious in the case but it was chewy and gross. The bagels were dense and small with no flavor. The piece of pork roll on my sandwich was the thinnest I have ever eaten in my life. And there only 2 halves so you didn't taste the pork roll at all. Not enough meat at all. Picked up our order and politely called the restaurant when we realized one of our sandwiches was made incorrectly with regular bacon instead of Turkey bacon. The male manager that came to the phone was dismissive and quiet frankly rude. He insisted we ordered wrong, accepted no fault on the restaurants end unless we came back to show him, and refused to refund us for the $2.75 substitution charge we clearly paid. Needless to say we won't be ordering from here again! Bagel sandwiches were mediocre at best. Definitely lacked flavor. However the coffee and ice macchiato were good. If you're desperate and in a bind for somewhere close maybe try it here but if not Rey's Bagel Bistro is much better and has much better customer service. read more
