I got the florentine omelette which came with toast and home fries. you can add onion & peppers to the home fries or sub hash browns for an upcharge. my husband had the "little bit of everything" which is eggs bacon home fries & pancakes. I recently came here with my 4 year old son and we were seated in a 2 person booth. He loved the seating and the overall atmosphere. He ordered the grilled cheese with fries, and I ordered the monkey pancakes - we both finished our entire meals! The food was super hot and clearly fresh. We hadn't been here in several years, and since then, the place has changed ownership. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and were seated comfortably in a booth. Our server was very friendly and checked in on us several times. The food was delicious and overall, we had a nice dining experience. However, I recommend double-checking your bill. We were charged for extra items that should have been included with our meal. I was also surprised by the number of added fees--for example, a $0.50 charge just for choosing rye bread over wheat, a fee for using a credit card instead of cash (which most diners don't charge), and additional costs for vegetables or swapping potatoes for another side. While the food was good, I think the number of extra fees takes away from the overall value. read more

Only started eating a couple of breakfasts recently. Really good "regular American breakfasts ". Great food, great service and they even stock orange marmalade jerky for my toast. Very nice, albeit small local diner on the border of Haddonfield and Westmont. We live a half mile away and this is our go-to place when we don't feel like cooking. It's a no frills place with basic diner food options like sandwiches, soups, eggs, pancakes, etc, but all of it is hearty and well made. Parking can be challenging at peak times like weekend mornings because the lot is small, but there is also street parking available. Everyone who works there is friendly and professional. The breakfast here is great. Went simple with eggs, crispy scrapple, home fries and wheat toast. The scrapple was like a brick, just the way I like it. Breakfast potatoes were excellent. They have hard time finding decent servers and I can see why. The owners do not speak English and need everything translated. The portions are small.. the menu is uninspired and they don't have enough help to run a diner successfully. We waited over an hour for food to come out and couldn't get the waitress to come over and even fill drinks or give us the check. Haddon Diner took over Westmont Diner's space across from the PATCO in Westmont. It's small but they've packed tables and booths in to maximize space. I ordered a tuna salad club sandwich, which marked the first time I ordered tuna since my childhood. I had been previously convinced I didn't like it, but it turns out I do. Their cole slaw (available upon request) was delightful, and I enjoyed their fries as well. I liked that a salad came with it, and I enjoyed the thousand island dressing on mine. read more

I called a few breakfast sit down places and no one could accommodate our original request to reserve 14 seats in advance for our book club. Except for this place! Luckily our final RSVP was for just 8 but for this place, that's still a big group. I chose it because it's new and run by a family, so I wanted to support a non chain restaurant. Plus I can bike here! There wasn't anywhere I could chain my bike, and the owner kindly let me store it in his shed area behind a fence. Back to food - everyone at our table loved their order. Basic breakfast fare, nothing fancy or complicated. We had a waitress who bragged she rarely wrote down orders and got everything pretty right. Apologies to the other diners whose orders got held up by our large table. We had RSVP'd weeks before and were happy they could accommodate us. It's a small, newly renovated diner and it was already full when we were seated right on time. I agree the parking lot is very small and it probably didn't help with our large table was coming in from multiple towns. But our food was pretty darn good for the price point. I think everyone was very happy with the French toast, omelettes and egg combos ordered. I did ask for my home fries well done and my friend ordered her Turkey bacon extra crispy, another person asked for eggs over medium and we got our orders done correctly. I typically enjoy their moist & juicy half pound Gorgonzola Burger with lettuce, tomato, onion & gorgonzola blue cheese on a brioche bun. Perfect ! It never stays unesten for long ! The fries are plain, ribbed, crunchy, soft inside, Very good. Sweet potato fries are tasty & crunchy too. The bacon side comes with 5 slices of perfectly cooked goodness, the Cucumber salad was plentiful & delicious. Order a side of coleslaw here and it you do not just get a tiny paper cup. It tastes homemade & is worth ordering. The Yogurt fruit parfait is delicious, bakanced combination with banana/berries, a vanilla yogurt with a nice amount of granola. Went to the Haddon Diner today in Haddon, NJ. Every time I visit the Haddon Diner I order the past bolognese. I have eaten in a lot of Italian Restaurants but this place certainly can make a delicious pasta bolognese. There is a lot of meat in the pasta and the sauce is great. I already thought I had a local diner selected until Haddon Diner came to town. While they don't offer delivery directly, they are now on most apps. The Matzah Ball soup alone will keep me "coming back." I'm a fan of their make-your-own omelette offering as well; available all-day, of course. I haven't had their salads yet, but they do have a Cobb Salad on their menu. For some reason it's easier finding a unicorn than a Cobb Salad these days. I would NEVER come her again. Our order was put in completely wrong even though 2 of the 3 people in my party got the same thing. A little bit of everything with scrambled eggs, pancakes and bacon and hash browns done well. They were brought over easy with French toast and the potatoes barely cooked. The toast was cold when it was brought the the table so it wouldn't melt the butter. We got one crock of butter that the waitress dropped on the table upside down on the table which we then had split between the 3 of us. On all the pancakes& French toast and the cold toast. The waitress apologized to the cook for having to remake the food that she put in wrong, but NEVER said sorry to us. The also brought and English muffin to the table that was not ours. I got honey and it was brought to my in a butter type of dish& it got all over the table. My over medium eggs were completely uncooked whites, I would surely have gotten sick from eating them. read more

This is the first time I have been to this spot since it changed hands. There is nothing bad you could possibly say about this place. Service A++ food AAA+++++. Living a town or two away this will be my new weekend breakfast spot. You will pay an extra fee for not paying cash but whatever seems everyplace is doing this. Portions were big enough where I didn't have to eat until dinner time so that's a giant plus. Everything was super fresh the chorizo in my omelette was cooked perfect. We brought home French toast to go and it must have been a pound of it! My wife and little guy couldn't get through the whole serving. Actually can't wait to go back. read more

Busy on a Saturday. Lot is often full. Found nearby street parking, got lucky. Another one of those "Jersey diners" that overcooks the hash browns. Not in the worst way, but definitely forgettable. Our server tries to memorize all the orders, which is a surefire way to forget a side, which she did. They had a big table, which caused us to wait almost 30 min before getting our order in, though they caught up quickly enough after that. One good thing, the coffee was brought out regularly so we never went empty. I think Haddon is really trying. I might wait to give them another chance. read more

So glad this spot opened up, great location. We went in for breakfast this morning and couldn't have been happier. The diner is clean and fresh. First time at this diner for breakfast and we really liked it! Old school local diner with fresh delicious food! Customer service was excellent, attentive and food came out quickly. Food quality was the same if not better than Ponzio's. The diner was very clean! Utensils, plates, cups were very clean and new. Prices were fair, some people commented about the cost of the sides, etc but I don't completely agree with that. Yes a side was $5, however you received a large portion unlike some other places. I placed an order through DoorDash. My 11 year old's sandwich was missing so I called. They admitted their mistake as the sandwich was prepared but they forgot to put it in the bag. This place has the most dishonest employees and poor service. Their "server" added a larger tip with my credit card than what I wrote for her, and her service was deplorable. I spent three hours on the phone trying to get this place to credit me back. I got the runaround from everyone there. I filed a BBB complaint. I was told that a refund check was being mailed to me. I never got it, so my bank issued the refund for me. Stay away. Go to The Love in Audubon instead! read more
