Pumpkin pancake was so good ! Served with warm syrup. I like that they give you the whole bottle of warm syrup to use as much or as little as you want. Chicken sausage was amazing. Avocado chicken arugula salad was great as well. Service has been ok those times that I visit. But when it's busy, the staff can get snippy and cut you off as they're trying to juggle too many tasks. Understandable, I would be stressed too if overworked. But it does decrease the enjoyability of the dining experience. This was my first time at First Watch. I was not disappointed. The food wasn't out of this world good but it was good. For me, the service was the best. Apparently my pops has been there a few times because he remembered our server and he remembered my dad however, I don't think he did remember Pops but he made my dad feel like he remembered him and that is a good skill. The server was very helpful with picking items off the menu and all of his selections seemed to have been good. I liked mine but I probably won't get the waffle again but not because it wasn't good but I used to love waffles but I've moved on to french toast. That beet juice was interesting but tasted very healthy which doesn't mean it didn't taste good. It just wasn't sweet but it was good and it felt like it did something good for my system. We sat right outside of the kitchen so we did get to see all of the plates come out which is what I like to do so I can get inspired if I need some help finding something to eat but the server took care of that for us. We've been to First Watch twice. The only positive thing I can say about the restaurant is the wait staff and hostesses are stellar and work very hard. The first time we went, the poached eggs I ordered came out with the yolks just like hard boiled egg yolks. We decided to give the restaurant another try, and I again ordered poached eggs. This time, the white and yolk were extremely runny and hardly cooked at all. I had the American breakfast with coffee and my husband had the pumpkin waffles with a side order of sausage with a coffee as well. Two sausages arrived...$2.50 each! The total bill was just about $40. A ridiculously expensive breakfast. Fortunately, we did have a coupon so one of our entrees was free which cut down the cost to $25. I went to First Watch yesterday for the first time. It was a Friday morning around 9am. Since it's holiday season and people are off work and school, the place was probably much more crowded than usual for a weekday. Either way, my party of 6 got seated immediately. Our waitress seemed a bit flustered, but still very friendly and attentive. We ordered quickly and our food came out really fast. I got an omelette with salad greens. Everything seemed fresh and flavorful. I had zero issues with my food. One of my kids got the French toast with bacon and fruit and the other got a grilled cheese with fruit. Both kids liked the main meal but the fruit was on its way out. Lots of brown and squishy spots. Normally my kids could eat a pound of fruit each, but they both passed on it. My wife got a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. She really wanted fries, but they had none. What breakfast restaurant doesn't have French fries? We thought that was pretty strange. She said the sandwich was fine, but nothing spectacular. My parents shared eggs and potatoes and a pot of decaf. The potato consensus across the table was that they were not good. Too salty and not crispy enough. This was especially upsetting because of the lack of fries. Oh well. They also hated the coffee, but my parents only usually like McDonald's coffee. Boomers. Think we found our new favorite brunch spot! We really enjoyed our food and were excited to finally come here after months of driving past it. Parking is definitely a pain and there are limited spots. We got to the restaurant around 11ish and there was a 45min wait for a party of two. Will most likely come at a less busier time however food came out fairly quick and our waiter was friendly. Restaurant is clean and perfect to come with friends and family. Everything we ordered was sooooo good however our favorites were the million dollar bacon and million dollar potatoes. Came in on a Sunday morning. We were able to get "in line" through the website and had no problems getting a table as soon as we arrived. I ordered the Avocado Toast with scrambled eggs and my fiancé ordered the Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The avocado toast was a small portion and the flavor was only okay in comparison to other restaurants that serve the same item for the same price. The Lemon Ricotta Pancakes were also only okay. Usually dinners serve a stack of pancakes or waffles which is way too much for a toddler. They served the waffles with hot syrup. I got the italian omelet. It was just good but not great. I had French Toast, and my other two friends, chocolate chips pancakes, bacon, avocado toast, and grits. The French Toast was just okay. Nothing special about it at all. My one friend said the same thing about her pancakes and bacon. My other friend who had the toast and grits - said that the toast had a blob of butter on it (on avo?!!) and the "cheesy grits" had a blob of it's own - of cheese, just sitting on the top. She said she'd never go back to First Watch and was as equally surprised at the food's lack of "wow factor." Our server was pleasant enough, but barely checked on us.
