I went here to celebrate my birthday this past weekend. I knew this place was busy but wow... I came here at 12:30pm and there was a 2 1/2 hour wait. They actually wound up opening up the outdoor area to eat so my husband and I sat there so actually only had to wait about 5-10 minutes. I wish it was a thicker cut of Bacon but still out of this world delicious. For our main dishes, my husband got the 'Biscuits and Turkey Sausage Gravy' which is "One large freshly baked buttermilk biscuit split in two with homestyle turkey sausage gravy, two cage-free eggs any style and a side of fresh, seasoned potatoes." He thought it was absolutely delicious. I ordered the 'Chorizo Sunrise Sandwich' which was a chorizo patty with avocado, cheese, Pico, an egg, etc. I would tell you exactly what was on it but I cannot find it on their website. We got in-line online and found the wait time estimate to be accurate. We were seated within about 15 minutes of checking in at the front. As is the usual with First Watch, it was absolutely packed. The service did seem a bit slower than usual, but I don't think that was anybody's fault. There seemed to be only a few people working and I'm sure they were doing the best they can. The iced coffee was delicious. Between our group we got the hacienda hash, barbacoa quesadilla benedict, italian omelette, and lemon ricotta pancakes. We were all really happy with our orders! An abundance of prompt, friendly hostesses and waiters, we did not feel underserved. We must've been checked on 5 times in our 40 minutes stay. We ordered the Works omelette - "ham, bacon, sausage, mushrooms, onions and tomatoes with cheese and all-natural sour cream" - What's considered un-natural sour cream? Our 10th time here and what a disappointment. Ordered a waffle and my hubby a bowl. Waffle was incinerated and cold. Sent back abs waited 30 minutes. My husband was finished his meal but no sorry.. Then as we are eating a woman asked if she could take our coffee carafe as she carried 6 others. No ! We said, we aren't finished as you can see.. Really lovely location and plenty of wide parking. Loved the bring your ticket to the front and pay check out, and the menu was extensive. The plates were full and exactly as described on the menu. Interesting that they fully disclosed the calorie count (is that you, NJ?), definitely impacted hubby's order of the egg white and turkey omelette, but he really enjoyed it. And it's jam, not salsa that comes with it (smile emoji). Daughter #1 had the French toast which was a lovely brioche and plentiful fruit. The service was lovely and attentive without being overbearing. They have two options for tea, a green and black, but surprisingly they do have some non-moo juice options for the dairy free among us. Minor note, but it stood out to me is that in this VERY commercial establishment, they had toilets for home use. Really odd and strange. I was surprised at how open this restaurant felt. This is a super cute and comfortable breakfast/brunch spot. My husband and I came for a week day breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. To stay with our usual M.O., we got a savory dish and a sweet one. Lemon Ricotta pancakes, Elote Mexican Hash and Million Dollar bacon rounded out our order. The bacon was candied but still had a savory flavor. (We will start every meal here with the bacon as long as they have it. Sooooo good.) The Elote Hash is a seasonal item but that too was very taste with large pieces of chorizo. On to the Lemon Ricotta Pancake. Which were light and very lemony. The lemon curd on top acted like a syrup for me. My husband ordered the Watermelon Wake-Up drink which almost cleansed your palate. This may become a regular breakfast spot. Ok, so I get that today is Father's Day and that everyone and their extended family wants to eat out. But it shouldn't take 2 and a half hours to get in and out. I checked in at 9:45 after joining the online waitlist at 9:30. We were told it should be about 30-40 minutes. We were seated at 10:35, and our food didn't come out for another hour. And when it did come out, the cornbread and my eggs were cold. And sometime before that another server tried to give us food that belonged to another table. Our server was really sweet and did the best she could, but she was obviously overwhelmed. It seems like there are management issue afoot here. The kitchen is too small for the number of tables they have. This isn't the first time I've eaten here, and even the last time I was here I remember it took a long time for the food to arrive. I saw so many people leave with full doggy bags because by the time their meal came they had filled up on coffee (myself included). And they needed more servers to the food to the tables and to clean up when people left to keep things moving along. I don't think I'd give this restaurant another chance. read more

This place is EXTREMELY busy on Saturday and Sunday mornings. I checked in to the waitlist online which had the waitlist at about 35-45 minutes. When we got there the hostess said it would be another 50 minutes... I was like what!? Then said she probably less. We decided to wait and were called in about 15 minutes. They don't have a lot of options for brunch. They do have a lot of healthy options and gluten free options which is nice for someone like me who has to watch gluten intake. I order the trifecta which came with two eggs, choice of meat, and waffle or pancake. I got bacon and a waffle. I also ordered a side of potatoes. My boyfriend tried the multigrain pancakes. We both like the food, but there was nothing that stood out. Nothing special. Now what annoyed... our waitress brought our check while we were still eating without asking if we wanted anything else. I picked it up, looked at how much we owed, and set it to the side as we were still eating. When she came to pick up the plates we were done with( WE WERE NOT DONE EATING) as the food came on multiple plates, she picked up the check and put it in the middle.. I felt like she was rushing us and honestly I thought it was rude. We already saw the check as she had originally put it in the center. I had placed it to the side as we were still eating.. it's not like we were just sitting there talking and taking up space. Don't rush your paying customers!! Million dollar bacon is great! Definitely get the app to reserve your spot. It helps with waiting in line to put your name down. You do have to check-in when you arrive even if you reserve online. Service is always friendly, water and coffee refilled, and very prompt considering how busy it was on a weekend for breakfast/brunch. If it's super busy, your name is on the list and your stomach is crying out for help, don't miss out on the opportunity to do it justice. Listen for a spot at the community table. It's the long table to the right when you walk in. You'd have to share a table with other people not part of your party, but that was a nice change and we didn't mind. If you need your space and are looking for intimacy, not for you. We've tried several things from here, everything is ways great and equally delicious. I have been to First Watch (2) times now in the past month or so. First time here, we were greeted right away and only waited about 5 minutes to be seated. Our waitress was attentive and really nice. I had the steak and eggs hash which was really good; steak could've had a little bit more flavor IMO but still good nonetheless. My 2nd time there, we were greeted right away and didn't have to wait for a table. Diner #2 ordered the traditional breakfast, which came with really tasty sausage links, 2 eggs exactly like she wanted (medium over) and a generous amount of toast and chunky potatoes. Diner #1 chose the Elevated Egg Sandwich. Super messy but every bite of the egg, bacon, gruyere cheese and avocado was oh so good. The slightly peppery and citrusy arugula made me happy. This dish also came with the chunky potatoes. And me, I went for the simple French toast on that perfect brioche bread. With just a small mountain of whipped butter and with the warm syrup, it was what my belly ordered. I'm sad that it was the only dish that didn't come with the potatoes, insert sad face here. So happy I noticed you could sign up to "wait in line" feature so we basically got the next table when we arrived. Lots of healthy options (gluten free, cage free eggs, etc ). Loved getting to start with a delish fruit juice bleach (with a shot of extra vitamins). Well. I had to try for myself to see what was going on with first watch. I read all of the reviews as i typically do to understand why people were giving this new spot low reviews. I found it interesting that most did not complain about the food and were more related to the service (which i could understand for a new place). Took my 1 yr old son (first daddy and me date) so you know i had high expectations. We went there at 9a and it was already very crowded (more than Sabrinas or my other go to brunch places) which was surprising. We did not have to wait for a long time however it did take a while for the server to come over. We ordered french toast and the chikichanga which looked very interesting. I also got coffee instead of the juice... first opportunity: provide cream/ half & half in a cup or something. Currently customers have to open the small individual containers to get cream (I opened 6 of them)....any reputable brunch place should have creamer available ad-hoc lol. The food was good too, not amazing but the chikichanga was interesting. Lacked a kick that wouldve given the meal a 5 but very interesting. The french toast on the other hand was disappointing, to me, these items should have that wow effect. It lacked flavor and was barely soaked in batter. We had a snafu with the drink order- long story short (ordered tea, wanted hot got iced thought i cc'd the tea order& choose to go with a drink watermelon wake up. Ended up with both ‍) WATERMELON WAKE UP IS HEAVEN!! I ordered the traditional breakfast requesting the eggs over medium& bacon crispy. My partner ordered the Tri-fecta going with scrambled eggs, bacon& the carrot cake pancakes. My bacon was perfection!!& with 6 slices I was in heaven& felt like I was really getting bang for my buck, but that was where the praise ended. My eggs were terrible, yokes cooked completely through, while still having uncooked egg whites, didn't know that was even a thing. The break also has A LOT of butter. Might want to opt for that on the side. Now for the TRIFECTA- it came out with cold eggs& honestly not much if it was 2 eggs they were the smallest in the basket! First time here. And my last. We had to sit at a table because all of the booths wee taken---by uncleared dishes. We came at 1pm. There were only 3 tables occupied. The carafe of coffee was not even hot and I've had better coffee in the pots you get in a hotel room. We ordered carrot pancakes and biscuit and eggs. The pancakes were burnt and wouldn't have any flavor at all if it wasn't for the syrup the gravy on the biscuit had so much pepper it burned in the back of our throats service is the kind where they walk up to your table. Came here on a Sunday around 1PM with a friend, wait was about 40 minutes. They have a waiting list texting system though, and they're quite close to the mall and various shopping plazas, so it's easy to pass the time. However, lots of people here and very busy! My friend and I opted instead to take out. Food took about 15 minutes and we brought it back. One thing I didn't like was that most of the food on the menu is very high in calories, but I guess it's nice they had them listed. I got the meditation juice and morning market veg omelet. Loved the meditation juice, had a nice gingery kick. Market veg omelet was great too. I liked that although the food was a bit cold by the time we brought it back, the omelet was still full of flavor. My friend ordered 3 brunch entrees and a cold brew and along with my one entree and juice, it came to about 60 dollars. So I think the price is quite fair! I was highly impressed with the brunch here. I signed up for the waitlist before my boyfriend and I left the house since it was Saturday at noon. It was about a 20 minute drive and when we arrived we only had to wait 5 minutes for our table. Our server greeted us immediately and took our drink orders. However, we waited for another 10 minutes and another waitress greeted us apologizing for the wait. She noticed her co-worker was overwhelmed and came over to help out which I thought was a great showing of teamwork. We both got a skillet as our main. I got Parma while my boyfriend got the farmhouse. Our skillets were piping hot, the hash had a char but was still tender, and our eggs were still runny. The toast is multigrain and are pretty thick, kind of like Texas toast. The strawberry jam was super delicious and fresh. We also got a Belgian waffle to share and the berry compote was the best.
