A friend had gone to one location and raved about everything. So obviously we went to days later so I could try it! We stopped in on a Saturday early afternoon. Everything is displayed nicely. They have it set up so you take a tray and tongs to help yourself to the items you want. Everything we got was delicious! They have lots of coffee drinks as well. I got a cold brew. They also have some comfortable seating so you can really sit and enjoy your goodies! I have been back since and my friend goes on a regular basis. If you haven't stopped in, do yourself a favor. The bun was soft and not overly sweet. Berry bun: I got the very last one! DELISH! The bun of milky, soft and berry filled. My favorite probably. Taro bun: HUGE! Love the taro paste but the bread was alittle off since there was seeds in it. Not loving that texture Tiramisu cheesecake: very good fluffy cheesecake. Would have liked more tiramisu/coffee flavor. Chocolate bun: Another favorite. Very good chocolate fudge on the inside. Wish I bought 10 of theses. Egg tarts: I got the two pack. Wish I got the full box (maybe next time). Flaky buttery crust with sweet egg custard. Also a favorite. Overall everything I got was really good. I also loved that the prices were very affordable ($2-5). The only thing I would add is maybe to have more a description and allergens added to the cards so people with allergies could identify what they can and cannot eat. Seeing how warmly they treated everyone and noticing how many regulars there were made it clear this place really means something to the community. It made me so happy that my daughter and her fiancé chose to make this town their new home. The seasonal menu was very appealing and fun to explore. We tried the salted caramel apple latte, maple cinnamon latte, and salted biscotti latte, and each one was comforting, well balanced, and delicious. There is also a chalkboard wall where customers can leave messages. I wrote a New Year wish in Tagalog, which made the visit feel even more personal. I ordered one of their specialty iced coffees, the Chocolate Covered Banana. I'd normally avoid something like this because of the sugar, but it was surprisingly not overly sweet. That said, I didn't really taste much banana. The ordering setup is a bit unusual. You place food orders at one counter and coffee at another. The coffee came out quickly, but the Caesar wrap took over 20 minutes. It didn't seem especially busy in person, so they may have been juggling delivery orders. The kitchen is very small and appeared to have just one cook at the time. It's a family-run business, which is really sweet. It did seem like the owners' kids were working the counters, and they felt a bit inexperienced when it came to handling volume or order issues. On a nice day, it's a lovely spot to sit outside. In bad weather, though, takeout or delivery are really your only options. It's definitely on the pricier side. The Caesar wrap was over $15, and the coffee came to about $8 with tip, though both portions were quite large. I will say, the food is delicious. The wrap was honestly one of the best I've had. Freshly cooked warm chicken, just the right amount of dressing, fresh parmesan, crisp lettuce, all wrapped in a perfectly warmed wrap. I'll definitely be back, and I'm curious to see how they continue to grow and improve.
