I took one for the team and wandered in. It was a little smaller than I expected. In fact, unlike other bakeries, I don't recall seeing a seating area where one can purchase a sweet treat and a drink, then relax at a table to enjoy it. Most desserts were in the $3-$5 range. If you're a choco-holic, not that many options. I ended up walking out empty-handed, but maybe I'll come back another time.

Street parking is scarce and the meters are quarters only but you should be able to get 15 min free. That said dont chance quickly parking to run in for coffee because theyre slow. Inside, its smelly. The kitchen is up front right after the tables. So you walk in theres some seats and then the kitchen behind the counter. You have to walk all the way down the counter to the register inorder to see the tiny menu. Its obvious how coffee shopss function so i dont get why they put the menu there. Theres also a tabletop sign on the register counter for seasonal items but i was so confused idk if these are latte flavors or dessert foods. The menu doesnt specify and the pictures are all of cutesy food but idk if thats design or the actual item. The smell bothered me A LOT. Waiting for coffee i dont want to smell cheese and whatever else is cooking. Also there foods behind the display, dessert and pastries too, do not have any signage. I was curious if anything savory was vegetarian but didnt feel like conversing. Lastly theres a lot of Jesus stuff that confused me why its all over the place. By the coffee pickuo by the regsiter. Dont shove that in my face im here for coffee. Ok the coffee, i had a pistachio latte. Was good. Not much coffee robust flavor. The pistachio flavor though was done very nicely. Not like those sweet sugary syrup flavors, but simple real pistachio. And crumbles of pistachio. This is a good option if you dont like sweet. Also had a donut and damn that was a delicious donut! Also it was over $16 for the latte and a donut. Too pricey.

They are clear and communicative on whether something will take time to prepare. The caffe is small with seating for roughly 6-8 comfortably. Though the ambiance and staff excelled, the food was lackluster and expensive for the portion. The hot honey Stromboli was dense and lacking the sweetness or spice of the hot honey. Our chocolate croissant was hard and flat. The cacio e pepe had the saltiness but missed the peppery flavor. Should be 3.5 stars but I'll give the benefit of 4 - while the new store may have some growing pains, the staff makes up for it and could turn it around!

Was escorted to our table by a lovely hostess, but that's when the stellar service ended. A woman came over to our table who ended up being our server to abruptly tell us to hand her the tip that was on the table. The table hadn't been bussed from the previous occupants, our server didn't acknowledge that, or greet us, or introduce herself, she just told us, "hand me that money please". Welcome to Jersey I guess! Anyhow, it's a typical NJ diner with an unnecessarily massive menu, extremely large portions, but still relatively fair pricing. Our server was clearly experienced, but she was very curt and not friendly at all. Food was plentiful and mostly enjoyed. The hash browns were burnt, and very different, as the texture under the top crust was like mashed potatoes and they weren't seasoned at all. The eggs needed salt and pepper also. The French toast was good. The French toast with apples was also good, but had too much apple and whipped cream. It was like a dessert. It's a diner so I wasn't expecting Michelin worthy food, but I was so put off by the service, it colored the rest of the experience.

I'm typically a black coffee guy, so I ordered a Dark roast hot coffee also, which was also very nice and flavorful. The food we saw coming out around us looked spectacular, we had just eaten, so weren't ordering a meal, but we said we WILL be back for lunch one day soon. We did however have a slice of the Pistachio Kunefe Cheesecake which may have been the BEST cheesecake I've ever had. I have already requested one for my birthday in January, lol. The place is so nice inside, employees were super friendly and helpful. Had great suggestions and good energy. Good decor, some small items for purchase (non-food). Had I not just bought 2 bags of coffee, I would have taken home a bag of the house blend as well. Highly recommend, price is slightly lower than your average Starbucks, but the quality, options, vibe, everything blows Starbucks out of the water. Found my new coffee, bakery, snack/lunch spot. Looking forward to returning. Check them out for sure!
