Strawberry matcha with oatmilk, chai latte with matcha and oatmilk
    Destiny

I wanted to try this place since it was highly recommended to me. I got a strawberry matcha and it was delicious! The matcha is such high quality in my opinion. They were also very accommodating when I asked for a change in one of my items, after I already paid (not pictured, it was a hot beverage). There was a good amount of seating, and seems to be pet-friendly if they have the space. I noticed a customer had their small dog with them. Will be back in the future!

So glad to have Japanese drinks and snacks in the area. I loved the hojicha latte (roasted green tea and milk). The matcha yuzu limeade was not my thing, too much yuzu kind of overpowers any matcha taste. The Taiyaki fish shaped pastry was good, crispy outside, soft and gooey inside. I liked ube and pandan (not too sweet). The vanilla Taiyaki was too sweet for me. Clean modern interiors, very friendly, helpful staff. They explained flavors I wasn't too familiar with. Will be back to try other stuff

When we were finally seated we had a great waitress who shared her recommendations. We landed on the Eggs Benedict and the $19 BUTTERSCOTCH APPLE FRENCH TOAST, which is baked cinnamon & vanilla custard-soaked brioche, butterscotch apples; topped with brown butter oat streusel & Philly whip. Unbelievable. The place was loud and popping on a Sunday around noon. Not intimate, but a fun post-church gathering of hungry souls. Haddonfield itself is a cute little town with what appeared to be a lot of cute dining spots. We will definitely make this our pit stop on future NY - DC sojourns!

The space is clean, modern, and welcoming, and the staff was genuinely pleasant from the start. Julian, our server, greeted us promptly, got coffee on the table quickly, and kept everything moving smoothly. In addition to standard coffee, they offer craft espresso-bar style drinks, which is a nice touch whether you are there for breakfast or brunch. The restaurant also has outdoor seating, not ideal in December, but it would be great in warmer weather for people-watching along Haddonfield's main street. The menu has plenty of options, and I went with the fennel sausage frittata with roasted potatoes and bacon. It was hearty and well executed, the bacon was crisp, the potatoes were crunchy, and the portion was generous enough that I could not finish it. My wife ordered the green goddess roll, which she really enjoyed, though her potatoes came out cold while mine were hot, the only real miss of the visit. We also shared a bowl of lentil soup, which was perfect for a cool day and a nice surprise on a brunch menu. This spot works well for weekdays or weekends, breakfast or brunch, and it does get busy, so reservations are a good idea or be prepared to wait with a coffee. Pricing felt very reasonable for the area, and overall it was a good stop we would happily return to.

Since it's…read moreholiday season and people are off work and school, the place was probably much more crowded than usual for a weekday. Either way, my party of 6 got seated immediately. Our waitress seemed a bit flustered, but still very friendly and attentive. We ordered quickly and our food came out really fast. I got an omelette with salad greens. Everything seemed fresh and flavorful. I had zero issues with my food. One of my kids got the French toast with bacon and fruit and the other got a grilled cheese with fruit. Both kids liked the main meal but the fruit was on its way out. Lots of brown and squishy spots. Normally my kids could eat a pound of fruit each, but they both passed on it. My wife got a breakfast sandwich with potatoes. She really wanted fries, but they had none. What breakfast restaurant doesn't have French fries? We thought that was pretty strange. She said the sandwich was fine, but nothing spectacular. My parents shared eggs and potatoes and a pot of decaf. The potato consensus across the table was that they were not good. Too salty and not crispy enough. This was especially upsetting because of the lack of fries. Oh well. They also hated the coffee, but my parents only usually like McDonald's coffee. Boomers. What are you going to do. Everyone agreed we would not be back here, but for me, with the parking lot and satisfied kids, I wasn't too sad about the meal.

Apparently my pops has been there a few times because he remembered our server and he remembered my dad however, I don't think he did remember Pops but he made my dad feel like he remembered him and that is a good skill. The server was very helpful with picking items off the menu and all of his selections seemed to have been good. I liked mine but I probably won't get the waffle again but not because it wasn't good but I used to love waffles but I've moved on to french toast. That beet juice was interesting but tasted very healthy which doesn't mean it didn't taste good. It just wasn't sweet but it was good and it felt like it did something good for my system. We sat right outside of the kitchen so we did get to see all of the plates come out which is what I like to do so I can get inspired if I need some help finding something to eat but the server took care of that for us. I've been to another since and although the service and food was good, this guy was better.

It was decently packed but service was still rather quick. Service was okay, only thing is that the waitress we had immediately asked us what we would like right after we sat down without giving us a few minutes to look at the menu and then would leave for a minute and come back, but then when we were ready to order we had no idea where she went. We also felt a little rushed towards the end as we were handed the bill when we were both eating but otherwise it was alright. What made up for it all was the food. The tater tot hash was SO SO delicious. Crispy fried tater tots and a generous helping of pulled pork. It was mildly spicy but it packed bold flavors, the tomatoes had a nice acidity that cut through the heaviness. Yum! Also the salad with the avocado toast had a bright delicious tangy dressing, and the pickled red onions were delicious on top of the toast. Parking's available on the street but there's also a parking lot behind the building! I would definitely return again for the food!

While I've eaten and cooked many cuisines from East and Southeast Asia, I have had relatively little experience with Khmer (Cambodian) food, which made the visit especially exciting for me. For appetizers we ordered the fried dough, which is essentially identical to Chinese youtiao, and the Kaw Ko with bread. The Kaw Ko was outstanding--deeply flavorful beef stew gravy filled with generous chunks of beef and carrots, served with crisp, crusty yet fluffy bread that was perfect for soaking up the rich sauce. My fellow diners both ordered the large Traditional Kuy Teav soup, Phnom Penh style, and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The pork broth is flavorful but intentionally mild, allowing diners to customize it with condiments. Both of them added chili crisp oil, hoisin sauce, fresh chiles, and soy sauce to season it to their liking. On our next visit they both plan to try the dry noodles or possibly order a full portion of the Kaw Ko. I ordered the Kuy Teav Kouk (dry noodles), Phnom Penh style, and absolutely loved it. The dish is served with the pork bone broth on the side, which I found perfect. I added chili crisp and chili oil to the noodles and mixed everything together. The dry style gives you a wonderful range of textures--soft noodles, assorted meats and offal, crisp bean sprouts and coriander--followed by sips of the rich pork broth. It makes for a truly satisfying and balanced dining experience. To drink, I had tea and the pandan limeade, which was refreshing and delicious. Service was impeccable and the restaurant is very welcoming and a pleasant environment with comfortable seating. We were greeted warmly, seated promptly, and our food arrived fresh, hot, and beautifully prepared. I would highly recommend Heng Seng Noodles to anyone.
