    Old Fashioned Tomato Pie

Don't sleep on Brooklyn Original in Haddon Heights! Fed the office their delicious pizzas. Everyone was happy! The pizza with garlic and onions is delicious. The tomato pie is scrumptious. The (customized) honeymoon pie was soooo flavorful. I'm still full! Friendly staff. Fun, upbeat dance music playing in the clean eat-in dining room. Owner Felipe is your host with the most. I'll definitely be back!

My 3 goodies that went home with me!

I visited Brooklyn Original pizzeria this past Sunday after moving to the area last year and seeing it featured on Instagram and hearing so many great things. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how beautiful and clean the space was. I was greeted immediately by friendly staff who were eager to help and offer recommendations on their most popular slices. I chose a slice from their freshly made morning selection and mentioned in passing that it was my first time visiting. A few moments later, one of the young team members kindly offered me a complimentary slice to welcome me--such a thoughtful gesture and a great first impression. I ended up bringing home a ribeye pinwheel, (also highly recommended by a staff member) and what I believe was a square Grandma slice topped with pepperoni, sausage, and fresh basil. For my complimentary slice, I selected one with assorted Italian meats and fresh burrata on a fluffy focaccia-style crust. Everything was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and quality of the food exceeded my expectations. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. I have no doubt every encounter I have with this place is going to be top-tier, gracious, and worth every penny!

Stopped here after following on Instagram for a while. This is a hard review to write. We were given a complimentary plate of garlic rolls and tomato pie slices before our Brooklyn pizza and white with mushrooms arrived. The good: the marinara served with the garlic rolls, the garlic rolls, the pizza crust, the sauce, the cheese. The service was super friendly. The bad: just too greasy, especially the white pizza. The oil was swimming on the pizza. The crust was great but also too greasy. I would not order pizza again unless it was with very little cheese but would try the cheesesteak which looks incredible. I also found the crust a little too salty. We were offered an espresso on our way out which was nice. We don't drink it so we declined. Expensive pizza not to be perfect. 3.5.

They won't disappoint. The crust is so good. The staff is friendly and keep things moving. Orders are easily placed on line and you will also get a pick up time as well. They have the best pizza in the area.

    Excellent cheesesteak

I've heard nothing but rave reviews for this place. I walked in and the owner was so friendly and nice, chatting with everyone. Everything looked good, but decided I'd grab a fresh hot cheesesteak. The first thing I noticed was how nice the bread was - a nice crusty and seeded roll, soft and pillowy inside. Very meaty and well seasoned and of course, my favorite, Cooper Sharp cheese. They did not skimp out on either the meat and cheese. These suckers are huge, so I finished half and brought the other half home for later. (PRO TIP: Microwave for one minute, then throw in the air fryer at 350 for 5 to 6 minutes until the bread is back to crispy and the cheese is nice and melty again.)

The complimentary bread is enough to make the trip, but the food is top tier. They take the time to make excellent food, they are pleasant and warming. The establishment was well kept, it is a wonderful family friendly restaurant.

Easily my new favorite spot for pizza and cheese steaks in SJ. Service is always great and fast.

The owner, the food, and customer service are amazing! I only came in for a cheesesteak, but when the owner saw how I was excited for the pizza, he gave me a slice. The pizza and the cheesesteak were amazing. This is exactly the place you actually want to support. All the staff appeared happy. The ambience is cute as well. I like how they display their pizza. They bought the property next door to provide seating. I sat and ate there. It was nice and quiet. I will definitely be returning!

    The Brooklyn Works Pizza ( Square 18 x 18)

I was looking for something good yesterday after leaving an appointment in Moorestown, NJ. Pizza was on my mind and I had tried Brooklyn Original a few years ago, so I decided to head there again. I ordered "The Works" and made it a large + square pizza. I'm so glad I did. I arrived, waited for a 5-10 mins and grabbed my pizza to go. Of course, I opened the box in the car and tried a slice on the way home. I couldn't let the smell of the pizza and temptation of a fresh Sicilian slice pass me by. I absolutely loved the buttery taste of the crust and the perfect combination of the cheese, pepperoni and sausage. None of the ingredients overpowered the other. The second slice was even better. The sauce to cheese ratio was perfect. I could taste all of the ingredients in every bite. I was also impressed that the pizza was cooked all the way through. That's something that I have seen some pizzerias fail at. So, thank you Brooklyn for a fantastic pizza experience. I'll be back AGAIN!

Hands down some of the best pie I've ever had. Grandma pie and original pepperoni on point. Very friendly staff and great service

    The OMG Pizza

First timers from Pittsburgh who are out here visiting my mom. Saw a video of this place on IG and had to try. Delicious! The menu had so many tasty options so it took us a long time to decide. We ordered buffalo chicken pinwheel, The OMG pizza, and Chicken Parm pizza. Prices are a little high but once you see the size of the items and the taste it makes sense and is worth it. Staff and owner were so pleasant and welcoming. Owner let us sample their espresso and my husband loved it. We will definitely be back. Small parking lot in back and street parking. A few tables and hightop inside for sitting.

Went to Brooklyn Original Pizza for lunch with my daughter. We are pizza connoisseurs. We ordered a spicy Wise Guy square pizza and a thin and crispy pepperoni pizza. The owners gave us complimentary garlic knots to try, they were the best that I had. The dough was not heavy but light and fluffy and delicious. The wise guys square was next. One of the best square pizza crust I have eaten, many of these type of pizzas have very heavy dough and thick, this pizza was light and airily and very tasty. Love the heat in the sauce. Next was the thin and crispy, my favorite! It was nicely done with a great crust that crunches. The pizza was tasty. You can tell quality went behind every pizza. The finest ingredients and taste. Love and care in every bite. I will definitely go back and encourage everyone else to give this place a try, you will thank me. Enjoy

Small, quaint, authentic, family, quiet-ish, intimate, outstanding, I could probably keep going but let me get to the food. Not a ton of seating so I would highly recommend a reservation. The salad was amazing, dressing was creamy, egg based, and delicious. Omg, I'm still thinking about it. For entrees my wife had the Cheese Wheel, served table side, not just a fun novelty, it was excellent. I have never in 14 years seen her eat that much pasta and that fast. Our guests also ordered it as an app and raved about it. I had the pork chop entree, fantastic! The demi glace sauce with caramelized onions and panchetta, sweet carrots, creamy potatoes... so good. Our guests had seafood dishes that they said were so good as well. Dessert was delicious coffee and cappuccino with the ice box cake (yum) and an excellent Lemon cream cake (all made fresh daily). The service was top notch, all family, all friendly, all attentive. Prefect 40th birthday dinner for the wife. We will certainly be back. Check them out.

The bartender made really great drinks so we were very pleased while waiting for our table. Once seated we were provided with water almost immediately and our server arrived shortly after. We put in our drink and appetizer order and then the amazing bread with peppers arrived (complimentary) and we were like two kids in a candy shop. I don't know what they do to those peppers but they're delicious ... and pair perfectly with what I call their pizza bread. Appetizer and drinks were superb and after putting in our entree orders they were placed in front of us in under 20 minutes - fresh, hot and delicious! Neither of us could finish the entrees so we asked for to go containers ... and we certainly gobbled the leftovers up the following day. Oh and there's complimentary valet parking (just tip the valets) which makes for a stress free entrance and exit from the busy parking lot. Giumarellos never disappoints and it was no different this time.
