Room could use a little love, but nothing bad. Service was super friendly and brought us some garlic knots while we waited. They were tasty. We got a slice of the Sicilian with the hot marinara, pepperoni, ricotta and hot honey...very tasty. Our pie was brought out and had a super thin crust. (Extra cheese, half pepperoni and onion) The pizza itself was delicious, ooey gooey, cheesey, greasy (in a good way) floppy slice. Definitely a place to try. I visited Brooklyn Original pizzeria this past Sunday after moving to the area last year and seeing it featured on Instagram and hearing so many great things. From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by how beautiful and clean the space was. I was greeted immediately by friendly staff who were eager to help and offer recommendations on their most popular slices. I chose a slice from their freshly made morning selection and mentioned in passing that it was my first time visiting. A few moments later, one of the young team members kindly offered me a complimentary slice to welcome me--such a thoughtful gesture and a great first impression. I ended up bringing home a ribeye pinwheel, (also highly recommended by a staff member) and what I believe was a square Grandma slice topped with pepperoni, sausage, and fresh basil. For my complimentary slice, I selected one with assorted Italian meats and fresh burrata on a fluffy focaccia-style crust. Everything was absolutely delicious and bursting with flavor. Overall, the service, atmosphere, and quality of the food exceeded my expectations. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. We were given a complimentary plate of garlic rolls and tomato pie slices before our Brooklyn pizza and white with mushrooms arrived. The good: the marinara served with the garlic rolls, the garlic rolls, the pizza crust, the sauce, the cheese. The service was super friendly. The bad: just too greasy, especially the white pizza. The oil was swimming on the pizza. The crust was great but also too greasy. I would not order pizza again unless it was with very little cheese but would try the cheesesteak which looks incredible. The first thing I noticed was how nice the bread was - a nice crusty and seeded roll, soft and pillowy inside. Very meaty and well seasoned and of course, my favorite, Cooper Sharp cheese. They did not skimp out on either the meat and cheese. These suckers are huge, so I finished half and brought the other half home for later. (PRO TIP: Microwave for one minute, then throw in the air fryer at 350 for 5 to 6 minutes until the bread is back to crispy and the cheese is nice and melty again.) read more

Dude, it's Pizza! You guys aren't constructing a gourmet masterpiece, it's just pizza!!! There is absolutely no reason to have customers wait over an hour on top of the 90 minute wait time from ordering! Get your shit together and if it's going to take 2 and a half hours for a pizza order then tell the customer...or maybe limit the amount of orders you take so you can have the food ready in a responsible time. I was looking for something good yesterday after leaving an appointment in Moorestown, NJ. Pizza was on my mind and I had tried Brooklyn Original a few years ago, so I decided to head there again. I ordered "The Works" and made it a large + square pizza. I'm so glad I did. I arrived, waited for a 5-10 mins and grabbed my pizza to go. Of course, I opened the box in the car and tried a slice on the way home. I couldn't let the smell of the pizza and temptation of a fresh Sicilian slice pass me by. I absolutely loved the buttery taste of the crust and the perfect combination of the cheese, pepperoni and sausage. None of the ingredients overpowered the other. The second slice was even better. The sauce to cheese ratio was perfect. I could taste all of the ingredients in every bite. I was also impressed that the pizza was cooked all the way through. Went to Brooklyn Original Pizza for lunch with my daughter. We are pizza connoisseurs. We ordered a spicy Wise Guy square pizza and a thin and crispy pepperoni pizza. The owners gave us complimentary garlic knots to try, they were the best that I had. The dough was not heavy but light and fluffy and delicious. The wise guys square was next. One of the best square pizza crust I have eaten, many of these type of pizzas have very heavy dough and thick, this pizza was light and airily and very tasty. Love the heat in the sauce. Next was the thin and crispy, my favorite! It was nicely done with a great crust that crunches. The pizza was tasty. You can tell quality went behind every pizza. The finest ingredients and taste. Besides the fact the place is always busy with a line of people waiting for their pickup (which you know is a great sign) you can tell that every pizza is thoughtfully crafted and prepared by this family owned and operated joint. Our go-to pizza is the Honeymoon Pie and the Drunken Grandma, but amazing in their own way. The honeymoon pie is a fresh, NY take on a square pepperoni pizza. The crust is slightly thick (but not too thick) and placed in a large square pan for those extra tasty corner pieces which are my favorite. It's got the perfect balance of sauce and cheese to go with a smothering of those tasty cupped pepperoni slices. Then they go over the top by adding a drizzle of spicy honey which ties all of the saucy, cheesy and meaty elements together so perfectly. The drunken grandma is the perfect pie for the cheese pizza lover or those that can't eat meat. Again, made in that square pan, this pizza is made with a vodka style sauce and a healthy amount of mozzarella cheese. It's rich, it's delicious, it's royalty in every bite! I absolutely loved every bite of every piece of food I devoured. I usually have ranch with my pizza but there was zero reason I needed it. The pizza by itself was phenomenal. Had the taste for real pizza as we were traveling from MD to NJ. After doing a little bit of research we came across this gem. We arrived and the young lady behind the counter helped us make a decision because we were definitely unsure of where to start because everything looked so good. So she gave us two of their top pizzas and told us we could do half and half. That's all we needed to hear. We also said we wanted a order of garlic knots and she said that comes with the table since we were dining in. First off the garlic knots were cooked perfectly with a garlicly marinara sauce. Then the pizza had the perfect buttery crunchy crust. Which to me makes the pizza. All ingredients were fresh. I don't remember her name (she had two braids) but the service was 10 out of 10! The dough looks like it could take you down with one piece, yet this was the most light and airy (in a great way) slice I have ever had, and the red sauce and cheese/basil leaf on top were just the perfect toppings. Simple, yet lights out good. I ended up also buying a couple more Sicilian slices to take home with my OMG pizza. The OMG pizza itself was very flavorful and had a light and crispy crust too. Wife said maybe a bit too much sauce but I think it was just right. I will definitely come back for some of the other pizzas/pastas/sandwiches. Kudos to the team there - very welcoming and friendly and they understand good customer service. Then after a few more steps in, looking at all of the amazing pizzas slices behind the glass, the decision of what to buy gets somewhat hard to make. All good choices, but you can't possibly buy everything. While the square grandma pizzas there is the bait that reel everyone in, there's plenty more on the menu to enjoy. The Stromboli's are one of the items that I enjoy, and come in several varieties. Their unique well seasoned oven baked wings are a must try. Place two orders. Side note: weekends is an 1 hour + wait. Im not kidding. Locals pretty much are willing to wait it out, even if its carry out. With all that said, 4 star is generous BUT the pizza is really pretty good. The owners are also really nice folks too. Ive had better slices pre-2020 when you can go in, sit and eat. We got the panzarotti with Steak. I don't know if they are from Brooklyn but they look and sound like Italians (being descriptive not judging). The poor guy just wants to make pizza but everyone keeps talking about his cheesesteak/panini/panzarotti. It was Tuesday, there was beer involved so you know I was with Amigo Dan. I didn't score it. We liked it. They don't have a grill (it's a pizza place) so the meat was a little different (vs coming off a grill).
