Service here was friendly and fast. The teriyaki chicken bowl was fresh and seemed very healthy! I love how they cooked the veggies especially. Outside is bright and friendly and can seat 1-20 people! Would recommend to anyone who wasn't a quick or slow meal, and wants something a little healthier

Zero stars. Truly one of the WORST restaurants we've ever been to. The service was atrocious, and the food was subpar. We appreciated the gluten-free options, but that was the only positive. The restaurant wasn't super busy (6:45 PM on a weekday), but we still had to wait 15 minutes for a table. And when we were finally seated, the host didn't leave us with menus. It took almost 20 minutes for our waitress to even acknowledge us, so my husband got the menus himself. Meanwhile, tables all around us were being seated with menus and being served while we were completely overlooked. We truly felt invisible. Although our server eventually showed up with waters and took our order, things didn't get any better. Our food took almost 30 minutes. The pizza was burnt and barely warm, while the burger and fries were at least hot. My husband actually enjoyed the burger, but the fries were hard. We were starving, so we ate what we could. The water was warm and the glasses were filthy, but we didn't bother asking for new waters given how bad the service was. By the end of the meal, it was obvious the servers had no idea what they were doing. Maybe the restaurant was understaffed, but it was clear they were disorganized and had no system in place. I've worked as a server before, and it's SO important to multitask. If you're bringing drinks to one table, you should also be monitoring or checking on your other tables to see if they need anything. Instead, it felt like every task required a separate trip, which made the service painfully slow. Overall, eating here was a complete waste of time and money. It's a shame because we came here based on the positive reviews, and our experience couldn't have been more different.

Was really hoping to have a 5 start experience to help promote more healthy restaurants. My wife loves this place, but has only been to the Newport location. We were in the area and tried a bunch of dishes/drinks, but they fell short of expectations. Service: staff was very nice. It was good, but they missed the mark several times to make it a great experience. Atmosphere: Was great weather on Sunday, so enjoyed the outdoor area. It was clean and noise level was low, so we could enjoy conversation over brunch. Food: Unfortunately, left a lot to be desired. The Green drink and Watermelon cocktail were both really good. So were the edamame dumplings. However, it wasn't the best All Grain bowl; and my wife has had it several times from the other location. The Peri peri plate had great chicken, but the rest of it was lack luster. We won't be ordering the pizza and fries again; our toddler wouldn't even eat the pizza :-( Hoping it was an anomaly, but perhaps the quality between the two locations varies?

If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. Service is quite good which brings the score up. Ambiance is also pretty great and I love how convenient it is in the point. However the food was really mediocre and hit or miss. We got multiple entrees and I tried some of other people's. The bad: -The Chinese chicken salad was weird, I've never had anything like it but would NOT get it again. The ingredients a bit obscure which is fine but the dressing was unappetizing. -Adding "steak" to a salad- the "steak" that was added to our salad looked like chewed up dog food. Weird chunks that was so gross and chewy. I've had better steak at chipotle or any other establishment. They should really remove this option. MEH: -Salmon- salmon was cooked fine. The vegetables underneath were okay but had a slightly weird flavor -Jambalaya was underwhelming The good: -The mushroom pizza? Delicious. Would absolutely get again -Panini is more like a folded pizza but was honestly sooo good Seems like only the bready/pizza things were good here.

Food is always good and has a large menu. I had their burger which had a very bland salad but the burger was delicious. Friend has the Chinese chicken salad that had an unusual dressing but she enjoyed the salad. Service is great.

Ambiance: green and healthy themed restaurant, with spacious and cozy dining vibes, good for large group hangouts Service: very friendly and attentive, introduced their menu and specialities thoroughly, refilled water promptly Food: their menu has a heavy emphasis on vegetarian food Edamame Dumplings - *** white truffle oil, dashi, thai basil, sesame seeds, unique taste Pepperoni Pizza - *** Niman Ranch uncured pepperoni, DiNapoli tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, average taste Spaghetti Squash Casserole - ** caramelized onions, fresh mozzarella, DiNapoli tomato sauce, mushy texture Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA - **** canned beer, easy to drink, recommend Price: small to moderate portions, overall mediocre quality, expect $35+ per person

My family and I really enjoyed Sunday brunch at True Food Kitchen. The space is bright and comfortable, and the service was friendly and attentive. There are plenty of fresh, healthy options to choose from on the menu. I had the Rancher's Hash, which was tasty, and my little one loved the kids' tomato pasta--simple and just the way he likes it. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking to eat clean and still enjoy a satisfying meal.

Large airy dining area. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, because of the rain the rest rooms were out of operation. The menu had several vegan options. The ones I had were delicious. The soup was creamy and the pizza had a delightful lemon ricotta.

I escaped LAX during a layover (before the red eye home!) to enjoy my favorite meal at TFK. This is a chain so I've been to these before but this one is a standout. The servers and staff really fo above and beyond to be warm and welcoming. My go to meal is the season soup, the kale salad with no cheese add salmon and occasionally I order the fries. I love the grapefruit spritz (n/a) and also the skinny margarita. Highly recommend!!

Had a quick lunch and was craving a burger, but high quality with healthier options. The Grass-fed Burger was so good. It was served hot and juicy, with a very delicious side of kale salad. I also tried the O.G fresh juice, made with ginger, honey, and lemon. I wasn't expecting it to be carbonated, but it was still good. It wasn't busy when I arrived, so there was plenty of seating and service was great.

The Baseline: For an eclectic dining experience, the food offerings must be of quality for the variety offered, the seasoning/flavors must be special, the side dish offering must make sense with the other items, and the menu must be manageable. Food: Used the August 2025 brunch menu and had some new things. Ranchers Hash was good- great steak, great sauce, good veggies, and sweet potatoes was the base starch. I ended up wanting regular potatoes over the sweet potatoes (and I understand the sweet potatoes are the healthier option), but I will chalk that up to personal preference. Farmer's Market Scramble was also good but it suffered from the sweet potatoes verses potato battle with my group (potato wins for preference). The scrabbled eggs were silky, smooth and delicious and the cheddar added to the dish. The Lemon Blueberry Muffins were awesome and were a great ender desert for the meal. I also had an Iced Shakerato which was a great mid-afternoon coffee fix. Service: We had a good waiter and was attentive. All water glasses were kept full once we got them. Ambiance: Very nice and comfortable when we came in for a late lunch. Well lit and the temperature was comfortable. Clean spaces all around.

Thoughtfully made food without losing the eye on taste, flavors. The staff were excellent. The place is so huge and spacious. It is one of those places where you can pick a spot and enjoy a long private conversation as you savor the food. The dessert was also finely made. Vegan burger was the show stealer! It has the right flavors and felt lije the real thing. Was pretty filling too. Had great time.

After that many visits, I can honestly say the quality and consistency are second to none. The food is exceptional. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, the ingredients are obviously high quality, and the menu proves that healthy food doesn't have to be bland or boring. Whether I'm grabbing breakfast, lunch, or a smoothie, I always leave feeling energized instead of weighed down. The service is just as impressive as the food. Every member of the team is welcoming, friendly, and genuinely seems to enjoy what they do. They remember regulars, make you feel appreciated, and create an atmosphere that keeps you coming back. Finding a restaurant that's both genuinely healthy and consistently delicious isn't easy, but Love Life Cafe has absolutely nailed it. If your goal is to eat clean without compromising on flavor, I can't recommend this place highly enough. My order: * The Farm Club: You really can't go wrong with this one. The pickled red onions and herb aioli give it such a nice tang compared to a standard club sandwich. The turkey was high-quality and the bread held up perfectly. * Spicy Curried Couscous: I had to grab a side of their signature couscous, and it didn't disappoint. It has that signature roasted cauliflower and just the right amount of spice to balance out the sandwich. It's easily one of the best sides on their menu. The highlight of this visit was definitely sitting outside (inside is ok, a bit noisy and crowded). The patio area is clean, spacious, and perfect for catching some sun while you eat but most tables are shaded by umbrellas. Even though it's right off PCH, it's a great spot to relax and enjoy the El Segundo breeze. A couple Tips: * Parking: The plaza can get a little tight during the peak lunch hour, so give yourself a few extra minutes or try to arrive just before the 12:00 PM rush. * Ordering: If you're in a hurry, their mobile pickup is always super seamless at this location and can help you get in and out or you can take your food and eat in the park like courtyard area. I'll definitely be back next time I'm craving a solid sandwich and some fresh air!

Pretty fine. Not bad. Not fantastic. But good. With the price of everything else these days ($25 for 2 double-doubles, 2 fries and a shake...). The salmon was ok. It doesn't say fresh or frozen salmon anywhere, or if it's wild or farmed. I'm guessing it's frozen and farmed. The blackened flavor helps to hide that. The rest of the bowl was pretty good. The quinoa/rice was pretty tasty. The salad was ok, but I'm not a salad lover. Avocado, fresh. Salad dressing, VERY lemony if that's your thing. Brownie was slightly dry but also delicious cuz it's a brownie. It's gluten-free after all. The best part? It's just kind of a mellow meal. The last time we were here, it was during a busy lunch and both the service and the food were below par. But tonight, it wasn't as busy and our server, Geovani, was excellent. First, we were quickly greeted and asked to select our table (since they were not that busy). Since there was only two of us, we picked a table for two. But, after we decided that we would split an appetizer and an entree, the table for two became way to small way too quickly. Geovani jumped right on this, suggesting we move to a larger table. He helped us move everything over and, voila, we were able to stretch out and relax and enjoy our meal. We started with the pear and blue cheese salad and, wow, we could have just ordered this, split it, and we would have been full. Very flavorful, generous portion that is definitely big enough to share. We also ordered the Sausage & Leek Fettuccine and I was definitely not thinking. Totally forgetting that leeks are part of the onion family (and I have a sensativity to onions). Once the dish arrive, I immediately noticed the similarity and was slowly trying to pick them away from my portion. Once again, Geovani came to our rescue. He asked how everything was and I told him I made a mistake (noted above). He quickly volunteered to have the kitchen make it again without the leeks. I asked, "Are you sure?", and he immediately said yes and removed the dish. Very shortly after, he returned with the "onion sterile" dish and it was wonderful. Both of us were so full you could have rolled us out the door. Good thing the parking garage is so close so we could just hop in our car and go home. Time to loosen the belt! ;) In a week where we have had some personal issues, it was so nice to be treated so well and received such a great tasting meal. Hope you get the time to stop in and I hope you get Giovani to answer all your questions and issues. Enjoy!!!

Then literally 30 seconds later my brother is here, then I tell him he is right right there, he goes "ok, I will let you know when a table is ready", why not use stove common sense & say that a table is not even ready? Sounds like steering maybe because of the 4 kids ? Maybe something else? Very rude and I'm acceptable behavior. Then to add to it, turns out I was talking to the manager "Ello", who is acting in your face and challenging you more like a night club bouncer than a "manager" at a cafe....

He's friendly, super knowledgeable on the entire menu and gives great recommendations based on your preferences. Beautiful interior hidden in the plaza and is an excellent lunch spot for business, casual or celebratory. I'm always happy to dine here. Thanks for such a great experience every time!

I ended up telling the hostess, and she was immediately concerned and looked into it. Aside from that, it was beautiful, well-decorated, and clean, and I had a great experience. As far as the food, everything was super delicious. I had this bread basket with olives and rosemary almonds, and it was so good. I ate the whole thing, which made it hard to eat my pasta and my salad. Now, the kale salad was one of the best salads I've ever had. It was so fresh and delicious, and they clearly massaged the kale or marinated it or something, because it was easy to chew and didn't scratch my throat like dry kale at some salad places. The pasta was the only vegan option or non-dairy option I could have, and it was pretty good. I would definitely come back.

The food is really fresh, flavorful, and filling. I highly recommend the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich, side order of the Falafel balls and Chips that was warm, filling, and fresh out the stove. The gentleman was very friendly, welcoming and service was quick! I love a good restaurant that encompasses greenery and natural light! It just makes the ambiance feel relaxing, comfy, and tranquility. I encourage you all to continue supporting this local mom/dad shop. BONUS: If you or your family has a wheelchair, there is a ramp that allows for easy access to the building! There is parking available, and it has a little patio outside to enjoy some fresh air (or maybe if you bring your little pet/service animal-- you can sit outside).

Crispy falafel, fresh veggies, great sauces--the whole thing worked. The outdoor seating was really nice, too, with a warm, relaxed atmosphere that made it an easy place to sit and enjoy lunch. So why four stars? The falafel math. $16 for a falafel sandwich is already getting into fairly ambitious territory. But for $16, I opened that pita expecting a small army of falafel. Maybe five? A respectable battalion? Three. Three falafel balls. Look, they were delicious falafel balls. But at $5.33 a ball, I feel like each one should at least have a tiny résumé and health insurance. Still, really good food, lovely people, and a warm, welcoming spot. I'd happily come back. I just need the falafel-to-dollar ratio to undergo some light restructuring.
