If I could give 3.5 stars, I would. Service is quite good which brings the score up. Ambiance is also pretty great and I love how convenient it is in the point. However the food was really mediocre and hit or miss. We got multiple entrees and I tried some of other people's. The bad: -The Chinese chicken salad was weird, I've never had anything like it but would NOT get it again. The ingredients a bit obscure which is fine but the dressing was unappetizing. -Adding "steak" to a salad- the "steak" that was added to our salad looked like chewed up dog food. Weird chunks that was so gross and chewy. I've had better steak at chipotle or any other establishment. They should really remove this option. MEH: -Salmon- salmon was cooked fine. The vegetables underneath were okay but had a slightly weird flavor -Jambalaya was underwhelming The good: -The mushroom pizza? Delicious. Would absolutely get again -Panini is more like a folded pizza but was honestly sooo good Seems like only the bready/pizza things were good here.

We had the sourdough eggplant, didn't like the sweetness on the eggplant. The bread is delicious! Can't go wrong with the all American burger and I tried for the first time the edamame dumplings, like them!

I escaped LAX during a layover (before the red eye home!) to enjoy my favorite meal at TFK. This is a chain so I've been to these before but this one is a standout. The servers and staff really fo above and beyond to be warm and welcoming. My go to meal is the season soup, the kale salad with no cheese add salmon and occasionally I order the fries. I love the grapefruit spritz (n/a) and also the skinny margarita. Highly recommend!!

Ambiance: green and healthy themed restaurant, with spacious and cozy dining vibes, good for large group hangouts Service: very friendly and attentive, introduced their menu and specialities thoroughly, refilled water promptly Food: their menu has a heavy emphasis on vegetarian food Edamame Dumplings - *** white truffle oil, dashi, thai basil, sesame seeds, unique taste Pepperoni Pizza - *** Niman Ranch uncured pepperoni, DiNapoli tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, basil, average taste Spaghetti Squash Casserole - ** caramelized onions, fresh mozzarella, DiNapoli tomato sauce, mushy texture Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA - **** canned beer, easy to drink, recommend Price: small to moderate portions, overall mediocre quality, expect $35+ per person

My family and I really enjoyed Sunday brunch at True Food Kitchen. The space is bright and comfortable, and the service was friendly and attentive. There are plenty of fresh, healthy options to choose from on the menu. I had the Rancher's Hash, which was tasty, and my little one loved the kids' tomato pasta--simple and just the way he likes it. Overall, it's a great spot if you're looking to eat clean and still enjoy a satisfying meal.

Thoughtfully made food without losing the eye on taste, flavors. The staff were excellent. The place is so huge and spacious. It is one of those places where you can pick a spot and enjoy a long private conversation as you savor the food. The dessert was also finely made. Vegan burger was the show stealer! It has the right flavors and felt lije the real thing. Was pretty filling too. Had great time.

Took my team out to lunch True Food Kitchen was absolutely amazing. Ambiance very clean and hip. Staff was great friendly and attentive. Now the food DAMN it was delicious I ordered the kale salad with grilled salmon and it definitely hit. Good portions. We ordered a couple of appetizers the Brussel spouts and cauliflower I could have eaten those as my entry they were so yummy. Definitely coming back here. Everything was fantastic. Little pricey but worth it. Parking is a little tough as it is located in a shopping center overall A plus.

Had a quick lunch and was craving a burger, but high quality with healthier options. The Grass-fed Burger was so good. It was served hot and juicy, with a very delicious side of kale salad. I also tried the O.G fresh juice, made with ginger, honey, and lemon. I wasn't expecting it to be carbonated, but it was still good. It wasn't busy when I arrived, so there was plenty of seating and service was great.

    Sad veggie burger.

Disappointed. I order the same thing every time I come here. This weekend I didn't have time to go in to eat, order thru Uber Eats and my food was not what I ordered the "veggie double cheeseburger" was missing the topping and only had one patty. The Frieda were soggy. For a $32 delivery this was no what I envisioned. Do they slack when you order take out? This has not been my experience when dining in

The Baseline: For an eclectic dining experience, the food offerings must be of quality for the variety offered, the seasoning/flavors must be special, the side dish offering must make sense with the other items, and the menu must be manageable. Food: Used the August 2025 brunch menu and had some new things. Ranchers Hash was good- great steak, great sauce, good veggies, and sweet potatoes was the base starch. I ended up wanting regular potatoes over the sweet potatoes (and I understand the sweet potatoes are the healthier option), but I will chalk that up to personal preference. Farmer's Market Scramble was also good but it suffered from the sweet potatoes verses potato battle with my group (potato wins for preference). The scrabbled eggs were silky, smooth and delicious and the cheddar added to the dish. The Lemon Blueberry Muffins were awesome and were a great ender desert for the meal. I also had an Iced Shakerato which was a great mid-afternoon coffee fix. Service: We had a good waiter and was attentive. All water glasses were kept full once we got them. Ambiance: Very nice and comfortable when we came in for a late lunch. Well lit and the temperature was comfortable. Clean spaces all around.

My wife has been here a few times. This was my first time coming here. I like the overall space, the food, and the service. There so many healthier choices for us to try. Everything is made fresh to order. There are many options or substitutions that can be made too for special diet needs or restrictions. There are plenty of drink or specialized spritzers and non-soda(s) as they do not sell. The food and drinks come out timely. The service is great and the servers make their own drinks, there is no one bar tender or bar-back. Again the food is on the healthier side no grease, sat/fats or transfats. I believe pure olive oil is used for all their dressings, sandwiches, vegetables and meats. You must try to appreciate. Enjoy!

Came her for two reasons: Restaurant Week and heard a lot about this place as one of the few that doesn't cut corners and gives you food made in house with healthier options and ethicallly sourced. Hard to do in this day age. Location: On PCH and Rosecrans in Manhattan Beach in the North Point shopping center. Food:Edamame dumplings were surprisingly tasty without drowning in oils or bland. Wasn't a fan of the mush interior, but I couldn't expect much from beans. Jumbalaya pasta with sausage. This was spicy with a slight kick, but not enough to make me stop eating it. This was a big plate although it didn't look it and I ended up taking the other 1/2 of it home with me. The flourless chocolate cake. I wouldn't call this a cake so much as a brownie with a dollop of ice cream on top. The cake was so thick and fudgey, I kept looking at it to make sure it was a cake and not substituted with something else on the menu. Still, good and satisfied my sweet tooth. Summary: This is a fusion American interpretive cuisine kind of plalce so don't expect authentic anything with the non-American dishes. What you can expect is house made and ethically sourced ingredients made to order, not frozen (I hope). Everything is light in oil and not as greasy as most places. Does that take away from the flavor? No, not reallly, just healthier. The service was excellent and they will gladly make substitutions for your allergies and preferences. The ambiance is bright, airy with plenty of space. And, yes, they do serve alcohol including their own cocktails. If you're used to heavy oils ,salt, grease and dishes drowning in butter, you won't find that here and others may think these dishes are tasteless. But for those who still want to go out, but not feel too guilty about doing so, this is your place. Is it pricey? I would venture to say come here when you want to splurge and want a smorgasbord of tastes on a healthier side.Happy eating!!

We started with cocktails. I had the Mary Sue ("Pornstar Martini") with vodka, vanilla, passionfruit, salted lime, fino sherry, and champagne foam. YUM. Dangerously good. My husband had the Rob Gentile, an elevated Old Fashioned, and was thoroughly impressed. Service was great, and the food was top-notch. Let's dive in! Meatballs with beef, pork, ricotta, potato purée, tomato sauce, Grana Padano, and arugula--WOW. Cheesy, saucy perfection. Beef Tartare with tonnato, shallot, marjoram, crispy potato, and toast. Delicious and a generous portion. I ordered Coop's Pork Shank with Lambrusco-mustard glaze, aromatic jus, and potato purée. Tender, flavorful, and that broth was incredible. It paired perfectly with the broccolini... ...which we didn't order. We spotted the table next to us enjoying it with burrata and immediately added it to our "next time" list. My son ordered the Chicken Parm with capellini. He loved the huge chicken parm portion, which successfully fed his bottomless teenage appetite, but declared the pasta "too eggy." Teenagers are basically unpaid Michelin critics. My husband ordered the Scarpinocc with braised beef cheek, brown butter, sage, and saba. He loved it, but our resident food critic chimed in with, "I don't really taste the beef." Dessert was the cinnamon bread pudding with ice cream and caramel drizzle--absolutely worth saving room for. Everything was delicious, portions were generous, and we left happy (and full enough to feed a small submarine crew). Definitely coming back!

The dishes are kind of like a small plates setting. A bowl is just a small amount of food to accompany your base (rice or veggies). The bowls are said to rotate by the day which I take to mean as preprepared (hence express). The staff were polite and brought the food out swiftly. I ordered a fried rice base and a green curry chicken bowl. The fried rice was a bit too wet (like freshly cooked rice turned into fried rice) and lacking a strong soy sauce presence; however, it does mean that it pairs well with the curry without being overwhelming. The curry has a bright fresh flavor with a creamy coconut milk taste and was definitely the highlight of the meal. I also managed to sample their soft serve. The flavors were Thai tea and blue butterfly. They tasted pretty standard and the Thai tea and blue butterfly definitely shone through, but not much else. It was chaos and confusing as the person onsite couldn't give me a timeline of when my food would be ready, but you're watching orders flying out the doors. In total I waited 45 minutes only to be reminded that I couldn't dine in, but wasn't told how long my order would be. Food was subpar, portion was small and bland. The fried rice was very dry and inedible, it taste like it's a couple of days old. The Tom Kha was decent, not the best I've had but it was good enough to enjoy. The Penang curry was very flavorful and had a good kick, this would be my favorite. Order ahead of time, there's nothing personable about this place.

My order: * The Farm Club: You really can't go wrong with this one. The pickled red onions and herb aioli give it such a nice tang compared to a standard club sandwich. The turkey was high-quality and the bread held up perfectly. * Spicy Curried Couscous: I had to grab a side of their signature couscous, and it didn't disappoint. It has that signature roasted cauliflower and just the right amount of spice to balance out the sandwich. It's easily one of the best sides on their menu. The highlight of this visit was definitely sitting outside (inside is ok, a bit noisy and crowded). The patio area is clean, spacious, and perfect for catching some sun while you eat but most tables are shaded by umbrellas. Even though it's right off PCH, it's a great spot to relax and enjoy the El Segundo breeze. The food is solid. It's as tasty and well put together as I remember it to be. We started with the bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuits. I think these have been here since day one. They're FULL of lovely smoky bacon pieces and are at least 4" round! It's a pretty hearty appetizer. We quickly moved on to dinner, here's what the table ordered: Lobster & Sweet Corn Risotto - the risotto was cooked perfectly. Be sure to mix that poblano pepper butter in the middle up, it adds a great smoky chili flavor to each bite. My oinly complaint about this dish is that they used claw meat. I'm just not a fan of lobster claw, it's too gelatinously rubbery for me. Skirt Steak - Oooo, this was medium rare to perfection. The smoked paprika chimichurri gave a burst of flavor and a mild heat at the back of my throat. Chilean Sea Bass - Chilean sea bass always cuts like buttah! 2 people ordered this at our table and I'm pretty sure they loved it, that side of the table was pretty silent for 15 - 20 mins. Pork Porterhouse - This dish had the most flavor. The spaetzle was cooked and browned on the griddle, it had a fantastic crispy crust. It was a little on the salty side BUT I think 's because it needed more carbs to tame the salt. For me, it would have been PERFECT with a little rice or mashed potatoes or creamed sunchokes. Parking still sucks in MB but right behind the restaurant is a parking garage that's free after 6 pm.
