Korean Noodle Bowl with chicken DELICIOUS!

Based on the previous reviews we had high hopes. It's easy to get to off the GSP, good variety and serves beer. It's very loud. I'm 59 and my husband is 69. They had great music playing but the high ceilings and hard surfaces make for super-acoustics. We could hardly hear each other or the waiter. The place was almost empty so it wasn't other people making noise. My glass noodle bowl with added chicken was absolutely delicious! My husband's sourdough chicken mozzarella sandwich was bland, no flavor. I believe our waiter was new but he should have been monitored more closely. We had to ask to get a waiter to our table then when I asked him what his fav thing was on the menu, he said they took his fav off the menu. Then We had to ask someone to find him so we could get the bill. The place was clean and spacious and had a nice varied menu but really loud.

This was a great spot to break my fast. The edamame dumplings were a first for me--and they were so good. I was also craving shrimp, and the vegetable noodle bowl with added shrimp definitely hit the spot. The space is large and inviting, making it perfect for casual dining with friends, coworkers, or even as a go-to lunch spot. The staff was friendly and polite, and I'd definitely come back to explore more of the appetizers and other dishes.

This is a great place for a good healthy meal. I had the turkey burger and a side kale salad. I took half of the turkey sandwich home and the turkey burger was even better the second day-spices were more intense! The ginger margarita was the best cocktail I have had all year-delicious-5 stars. Service was good-friendly & attentive. The only reason this restaurant does not receive 5 stars is the price. I thought it was a bit pricey for a chain restaurant.

Oh wonderful meal very fresh and well prepared. Feel as though you're eating very healthy food.. I like the seasonal menu my favorite butternut squash. Such a clean, cool south of the border feel decorum nice music playing as well and a place you can watch the baseball game . I like the service, very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu .

What an amazing restaurant! My first time ever going to True Food was in California, I was so sad that I wouldn't be able to frequent the restaurant as much since it was so far. To my surprise, there was one a couple of minutes away! True Food is not only 100% seed oil free, but it also has fresh seasonal menus at reasonable prices. The staff has always been super friendly and the place is warm and clean. If you want a yummy healthy meal with reasonable prices and a good ambiance I 100% recommend!

Y'ALL! Run, don't walk, to True Food Kitchen! I don't know why it took me so long to try this place. I initially thought the menu focused solely on (in my mind "unsexy") vegan (VG), vegetarian (V), and gluten-free (GF) options. While they definitely cater to those dietary needs, True Food Kitchen offers something for everyone, even meat eaters. Their menu is extensive, covering shareables, entrees, sandwiches, pizzas, bowls, mains, sides, desserts, and there's even the TrueTrio bundle deal at $19.50 for 1 main/1 pairing/1 bev. I know everything is made with fresh, organic ingredients (because my taste buds don't lie), and somehow they manage to pack a ton of flavor into every bite. Even the smallest detail, like a perfectly cut grilled onion, was incredibly delicious and satisfying. Ancient Grains Bowl topped with Artic Salmon 10/10 **FOR THE WIN! Came here for brunch with a big group of friends with a open table reservation. We were given a private dining room. Service was a bit slow to begin with , water and drinks took longer than expected to arrive. The wait for the food was worth the wait, the food was tasty and fresh. My favorite part was that all ingredients are claimed to be organic and no seed oils used for cooking. The pancakes were interesting, healthy but really delicious. The rest of the dishes - avocado toast, pizza, hash, skillet etc did not disappoint.

True Foods is a concept that seems to try to mix Seasons 52 with Chili's/ Fridays. It just doesn't translate well. My party ordered the grass fed burger, chicken sandwich, chocolate cookie and cocktails. I'd only return for the cocktails. If your party has dietary restrictions like vegan, and want cocktails then I'd suggest it. Otherwise, it would be a no. Expensive and not even worth it. My teenage son didn't even finish the half of my very sad cheeseburger.

Don't get me wrong, the food tastes great. But I will NEVER come back here. The portions are an absolute JOKE and they are SO VERY overpriced..... it was $12/13 for 4 pieces of cauliflower "appetizer" that you see.... That is a SIDE portion... and then my meal. The salad was 3 good bites. $20 for a chicken sandwich and small salad. An extra dollar when you ask for more dip( that was never even put on your sandwich when it says it comes with it) The service was EXTREMELY slow. And there weren't many people in there. When we told our waitress we were in a rush and needed to go boxes... she started wiping down tables and didn't bring us our check. 1/10, would not recommend, will NOT be back again. OH!!! And we asked for lemons.. our waitress said the manager was watching her and could only give us a few. .... MR MANAGER MAYBE GO CHECK ON YOUR CUSTOMERS AND NOT WORRY ABOUT MANNING THE DANG LEMON RATIONS?

Ive been wanting to go here for a while. So many people I know rave about this place. Healthy food isn't always the most tasty which make people shy away from it. I went today for lunch with a friend. Parking was plentiful as there is a parking lot. The decor is really simple which aligns with their menu. Simple. Tasty food. Our waitress was Red. To drink I got the Rose Sangria. It wasn't sweet which is what I expect from a sangria. I didn't really love it. Surprisingly my friend got a red wine. To eat she got an avocado toast and kale salad. I got the grass fed burger with cheesy mashed potatoes. For dessert I got the spiced carrot cake. In all everything was pretty good. The dessert was sweet enough. Id definitely go back to try some of the other menu items. I took a star away because I didn't feel overly welcomed when I asked for recommendations and let our waitress know it was my first time.

This was our first time being here. We read the profile of the place from their website. A little pretentious, if you ask me. But, was the food as good and worth it? Let's find out. The place was bright and clean. The chairs, however, were not comfortable to my liking. They were made of a thin metal frame with rattan woven into the seat and backrest. Nothing wrong with that. But the angle of the seat made me uncomfortable. You had to move to the edge of the seat and lean forward to be able to properly eat your food. The pressure of my upper thigh and glutes against that metal frame was not pleasant. The staff was nice and friendly. That's always a good thing. Onto the food. The food was good, not great. Their portions were not fulfilling, either. Maybe because everything was "organic", as they proudly advertised, the food sizes were generally smaller. The prices were also a bit high. I had the Pot Roast French Dip. It was flavorful. But for $25, I was expecting to be satisfied. I wasn't. When I got home, I still had to eat something just to stop my cravings. My son liked his burger. But, he didn't find it anything special. The same goes for my wife's Korean Glass Noodles (their take on Jap Chae). Would I go back? Probably not. While I appreciate their push for healthier food options, I don't feel that their product justifies their pricing.

We were able to get the seating within 10mins and just walked in on Friday night. We were surprised actually Food was tasty. But I felt the portion was little less for the cost. It was costly maybe for the non-organic and GF which I was not sure I was walking into .Good Ambience Had below menu for $100. INSIDE- it was pretty , good brightness and I love it when the kitchen is open. colour leather chairs . FOOD- wow umami burger and Turkey burger were worth every bite . My server Ness was the best server I've had in a very long time. He checked on us often, but not to the point where it was too much. He made great suggestions & gave insights about everything we ordered. On top of that he was just genuinely a great person! The food was spectacular. The seasonal truffle squash flatbread was perfectly sweet & spicy and so were the brussels sprouts. I also had the Seared Tuna that was great. The sauce and some seasonings were spread along side the dish which was nice to be able to use as much or as little as you'd like. The inside of this place is full of natural light which was nice. We drive by route 1 a lot and had high expectations but I don't think I'm going back. we were a party of 4 and got the vegan burger and OG burger and that was ok. The chicken and sausage pizza was SALTY ,my husband who loves pizza stopped after his first slice. The worst one I have ever been to, and I tried them 3 times too many. Staff is great, place is clean but the kitchen!!.........My 3rd and definitely the last horrible trip , ordered the OG burger, side of kale salad + side of potatoes with a Mango tart dessert. Travel for work so I normally order to go: 1) Driest burger in years, toppings missing 2) Missing Kale salad 3) desert tasted like lemon tart, nothing mango about it. 4) No utensils, napkins, and when I requested it, I was told they ran out. AT 1PM IN THE AFTERNOON. And all my experience was similar things happening. Will only go to the one close by me now. read more

Tried this restaurant once a few weeks ago. The inside was nice and clean, however the seats in the front had air coming out of vents behind us, and it became very uncomfortable. Had lunch with a friend on a Saturday afternoon and didnt look like we need a reservation even though we made one. Food was good and felt healthy. Service was awesome and allergy-friendly. He took his time making sure everything was gluten free for my party. Ambiance was airy and light. Pricey although worth the money. Good portion and i had some pizza leftover. read more

There's a good variety of food options and everything on menu looked healthy. I ordered a spicy Panang curry bowl - it tasted great and it was definitely spicy. Our server was friendly and helpful with menu item questions. The location I visited had both indoor and outdoor seating, and the overall vibe was modern, clean and green. With seasonal menu items, I'd go again to see what's new on their menu or to try more! read more

I had high hopes because the other reviews looked so good but this was a major disappointment. I got the garden salad pesto pizza and they literally just put salad ingredients on top of undercooked dough and pesto. They also have surprisingly few vegetarian options for what their marketing puts out. Our waiter was nice and the restaurant was clean so that's why they get 2 stars. But the food was not good, would not recommend. read more

They did an outstanding job on the build out at this location. True Foods is one of my go to spots back in LA. I was very happy to see they had a location recently open in Edison. Did a pick up order, food was a bit late but the staff was so professional and gracious. The host even opens the doors for all the guests. It was a very nice experience and the food of course is delicious. Always love the grass fed Korean steak. Highly recommend this location! Looking forward to going back. read more

Service was great but my chicken burger was ridiculously dry and the sweet potato "hash" side I got with it was mostly burnt, kinda like something I would make in college between study's and cooking and forgetting I was making food resulting in having that hash. A pretty reliably good place to grab food near the mall if you're not feeling the food court. There are lots of vegetarian and vegan options, even if order modifications are usually not possible. I would advise staying away from Italian or American dishes as they're usually quite bland, but the Asian inspired dishes are great--the teriyaki bowl is a standout. Dessert is nothing special, but the drinks are pretty good. The interior is spacious and airy, and there's a nice bar at the front. There's plenty of seating, so wait times are usually low. read more

Such a cute and new spot on route one!! Absolutely loved the interior design and decoration of the place! The staff is SO friendly and knowledgeable on the items!! Beautiful modern woodsy green vibes. When you walk in they have refreshing water thats usually made up of different fruits and its so tasty! The drinks are great- the apple lemonade and hibiscus limeade are super refreshing and leave you hydrated. Loved the large amount of vegan options!!! Ahh! This is one of my favorite restaurants! I got to experience them right before they opened during their influencer/soft launch. The food is fresh, delicious and the service is amazing! The ambiance is top tier and aesthetically pleasing. you cannot go wrong with True Food. This is the first diet inclusive restaurant I've ever been to that caters to ALL restrictions -- vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, pescatarian etc. The plus side is everything's delicious and farm to table. read more

Almost immediately, the server came over to me to let me know that they made me real chicken rather than the vegetarian chicken and said she would take it back for the vegetarian chicken. I opted to keep it since I knew there was a chance it would probably get thrown out. I took one bite of the sandwich and I have to say, it was one of the BEST chicken parm sandwiches I've ever had. It was piping hot and tasted fresh. From the chicken, to the sauce, to the bun, it all tasted fresh and practically melted in my mouth. It was a little on the salty side but aside from that, it was made to perfection. To top the night, as we were paying the bill, our server Maya (who was very friendly and tentative during our visit) handed me a take out container with the veggie chicken parm sandwich in it AND the general manager Greg came over to me to apologize for the mistake and said the veggie chicken parm was on the house. It's very rare for me that this happens. I wish I lived closer to Paragon so I can go back more often but believe me, I'll be back there for drinks and dinner next time I'm in the area. I highly recommend going there. Their service, food, and drinks will not disappoint.

I've always loved True Food, and their chopped salad has been one of my absolute favorites for a long while now. Unfortunately, today's order was incredibly disappointing. The salad arrived completely wilted, with brown lettuce and oxidized apples, clearly not fresh. For a salad that costs nearly $30, and close to $40 after delivery, this was unacceptable. Thankfully, DoorDash refunded me, but I also called True Food directly to share my concerns. The manager was polite and apologized, saying he would check the salads on the line, but honestly, this meal should never have left the kitchen. I'm not sure I'll order again after this experience, but I wanted to let other customers know to double-check their orders.
