I'd never heard of this place and they just opened this location so I decided to check it out and now I'm obsessed. It's like a chipotle for noodles! You can pick bowls that are already put together or create your own. I like to create my own, the beef and shrimp protein are my go to and then I add broccoli , tomato's , cilantro , lime, carrots , mushrooms and the garlic sesame sauce & wala so so good! The beef is so tender and juicy & the ingredients are so fresh. I really enjoy eating here but I must warn you it's not cheap, everything does add up. The bowl looks small when you get it but it does fill you up. I've also had many of their desserts and although they're good they're not worth the price , it's very small portions and expensive for what you get. The experience was great! I got my food fairly quick after ordering. It was brought right to my table I didn't even have to get up. The person who brought me my food was very pleasant and nice. This is fast casual restaurant chain (along the same lines as Panera). They mainly focus on yogurt desserts, salads and noodles. I like the tablet ordering because it allows you to easily see the menu and customize your order as you like. I like that there was plenty of seating both inside and out. Metered street parking is fairly easy to find, despite how busy this area is. I HATED the thirty minute wait for a caesar salad, teriyaki noodles and a yogurt dessert. Food is priced on the higher side (almost $40 for what you see in my pic) and the food quality really doesn't justify the price. The tables inside were filthy and sticky. This was my first time at Honeygrow! It was highly recommended by my significant other therefore, I was so excited to try it. We were headed to the airport so we made a to go order on his phone and our order was ready as soon as we walked in. It was pretty busy inside the restaurant but regardless they welcomed us as soon as we walked in. There were a lot of to go orders as well but still we did not have to wait for anything. The online ordering was super easy. I customized my order so I don't remember exactly what I ordered but what I do know is my food was delicious! It was warm and flavorful. You control how much of each ingredient you'd like and send it off to the experts to prepare. The food is always made to order and nice and hot! The ambiance is nice as it sits on a college campus. The customer service - ehhh. My name was called and left on the counter. When I came up to the counter, I didn't know which bag held my food, so I had to wait until the server came back and asked "is this mine?". I made my own stir-fry as I was iffy about the menu but maybe I should have gotten something on the made menu because my food was not flavorful whatsoever. I literally packed up my food and took it home so I can add sriracha for flavor. My friend had a salad which she did not enjoy. I'm not sure why this wasn't rated higher, my mom and I were visiting Rutgers and I wanted stir fry and she wanted a salad so this place was PERFECT. Super nice on the inside (clean and aesthetically pleasing) and the build your own options are perfect for any picky eaters (or vegetarians like myself). I really enjoyed the food and so did my mom but what really put this place over the top was the service. We had a few different employees offer services and ask if everything was okay. My mom (who doesn't like tomatoes but had them in her order without realizes) picked all the tomato's out and one of the cooks came over and offered immediately to remake it for her. Nestled in the heart of college lane. Sitting on the corner of College Ave. At 2:30 in the afternoon on a Fri. Expect there to be crowded with our youth of tomorrow. As you enter you see the big menu. As you walk in you notice is set up for the small groups youths come in. Tables everywhere. Low tables, high counter tables by the windows. One thing they are not lacking is space. You order by the kiosks and then pay for it at another counter and wait at that point. Depending on the crowd will depend on the wait. The food preparation area looks clean and kept in order. And for the amount of people in and out of here. Working as a team is highly important. The take out container is topped with a sticker over the top. This is really good if you having delivered by Uber eats. You can easily tell if tampered with. The noodles were gummy but had flavor. Definitely not fresh noodles. The broccoli was good and the pineapples sweet to counter act the spicy. The spicy flavor was mild to a little kick. As a college student this place will thrive & survive. But to come in from out of town and parking is crazy and hard to find. This would be a rare visit for me. read more

I typically get a build your own stir fry (one day I'll be super healthy and get a salad ). Both the egg noodles and whole wheat noodles are AMAZING! I got the shrimp and added egg as my proteins. The egg was nicely scrambled and plentiful. There was a decent amount of shrimp for the price (about 7). I added in all the free veggies which was plenty and topped it with cilantro and their sesame garlic sauce. I INHALED IT!!!! Total price came to $16. Great idea, poor execution. Honeygrow is a "healthy" fast food spot that focuses on customizable stir frys and salads. They offer vegan and gluten free options. However, I didn't feel confident that my vegan stir fry was vegan. We used the kiosks to place an order and sat down. Unfortunately, it took over half an hour for our order to be completed. For a restaurant that brands itself as a quick bite to eat, honeygrow is very slow. The food itself was nothing special. The freshness and flavor seemed to be missing in action. It reminded me of the food from the Rutgers dining halls. What's more, ingredients that we did not order were in BOTH of our bowls. Although it was only some vegetables, I felt like I couldn't be certain that my meal didn't have meat, fish, egg or dairy in it. While I can understand why some people may enjoy honeygrow, if you value your time (and your dollar), you should skip it. read more

I am a local writer and I love ordering from this establishment from the first time I tasted their food. It is always well prepared and delivered accordingly. I could ear honeygrow everyday if I could that's how much I love the food especially being I have certain issues with certain foods bow that I am older I don't have a problem with the ingredients etc. I just hope this company doesn't change what their doing and continue to implement clean safe measures when preparing food and within the company. read more

I love going to honeygrow whenever I'm in the mood to eat out but don't want anything thats a hassle. I love how I can just walk in an order without any social interaction (not just for Covid reasons haha). They also text you when your order is ready. The Sweet Soy sauce is my favorite and I'll usually flip between the egg noodles and the rice noodle. Their fountain sodas are not your basic sodas as well so that is also worth checking out when you want to treat yourself. There is a lot of seating so you can meet up with friends or even get some homework done here. Very clean seating area! You can see your food being made behind the counter and sometimes I like to guess which one is mine while I wait. Taste delicious and I enjoy eating out of their containers. Sometimes the amount of sauce that is put into the dish is not consistent and that can change up how much I enjoy it, but overall I usually expect a positive experience when I'm here. read more
