I stumbled upon freshii while trying to find a good spot where I could create my own salad. Decided to try it for lunch and I wasn't disappointed. I got a custom bowl as pictured. It's a really good spot to create your own salad and the ingredients were all really fresh. They also have bowls, smoothies, and wraps, which I want to try next. The set up of the location is pretty nice and cute. I believe our orders were taken by the owner, who was really nice. Overall, the food was great and the experience was nice. Will definitely update once I try another item. read more

I kept passing this place as I was eating in the area and was craving a healthier restaurant one day and tried The person taking my order ended up being the owner. Seems him and his fiancé own the restaurant. I made a custom salad bowl and got a smoothie. You can get a bowl with 6 additional ingredients including avocado (not extra!) They're really nice about making substitutions to the existing smoothies so I ordered the yellow smoothie but instead of pineapple I put strawberries. tasted great. would've like a thicker straw because it was a little hard to sip. My salad was really great I made a bowl with the cilantro lime and spicy yogurt dressings. parking is street parking or there are local garages. there are cute little booths (2 people booths) and i believe larger tables in the back. on the way out the owner gave us some items to try i got the shot with ginger / lemon juice. This is of may be considered slightly on a pricier side than average restaurants in the area, but lower/comparable to healthier restaurant prices. Around $20 ish for the bowl + smoothie, but think it's worth it. Entire menu is online and there is even an app to download. My recommendations/feedback: -wish there were more "no sugar" or "less sugar" options for smoothies / food -fresh juices would be a game changer (they have bottled for right now) -more non-dairy milks (i believe they have coconut... not sure about others: almond, oat etc) and/or even vegan options for foods - may have missed this being available I will definitely be back and look forward to experimenting even more! read more

Freshii is a little off the beaten path, but it's a spot worth checking out. They live up to their name with a menu that boasts of a good variety of healthy choices. I went with a teriyaki burrito and a green smoothie. The burrito is decently priced, but you'll probably want to add a few extras like a protein and some avocado, which will end up driving the price up a bit. The burrito had good texture combination with the added crunch from the wonton crisps, and the teriyaki sauce packed a wonderful flavour punch. The smoothie was good, but I didn't really taste any of the avocado or banana. The dominant flavour was definitely kale, which is probably in my best interest. The vibe is relaxed and the aesthetic inviting. I wouldn't plan on coming with too big of a party, though. With the exception of a table for six in the back, the space is filled exclusively with two tops. It seemed like most people were grabbing their orders to go. You'll definitely walk out of Freshii feeling light and energized, and that's a win in my books. read more

Dined here many times for lunch working in New Brunswick and was never disappointed. When I worked in New Brunswick, I would find myself at Freshii at least once a week because they offered some of the healthiest options in town with solid portions and a variety of delicious options from their bowls and wraps, to their smoothies, and even the little snack bites they offer. I was mostly working towards a low-carb/keto diet goal, so their Oaxaca, Pangoa, and Tex-Mex bowls are what I ordered most, needing little removal of the standard items they came with, which often left more space for other items. Each was packed with flavor and balanced the fresh vegetables and proteins perfectly without being too heavy or greasy. I appreciated that I could customize the bowl to my liking, and there were plenty of options for protein, veggies, and sauces. They have a variety of smoothie options that I had picked up on those days you need a little more energy but don't want to have that 17th cup of coffee. It was the perfect way to add some greens and nutrients to my meal whenever I needed that extra boost or was just walking around a lot and didn't have time to sit down and take on a full meal. Finally, from time to time, I tried some of the protein-filled snacks that Freshii offers, including the Energy Bites and the Protein Balls. Both were the perfect on-the-go snack. The staff was also friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend Freshii to anyone looking for a healthy and delicious meal in New Brunswick. read more

My new favorite lunch spot in town! I keep alternating between wanting to eat healthier and the 'treat yo self mentality' so when I'm in fitness mode like I am currently this is a perfect place to eat. I went with the kale Caesar salad and it was tremendous! The yogurt dressing is awesome and this time I threw on the hard boiled eggs for added protein. The service is also exceptional, 10/10 reccomend. read more

I began working in downtown New Brunswick a couple of months ago and my co-workers had this establishment on their rotation when I arrived. I have been here now 4 or 5 times in that time frame. I always order online for pickup and the order is always cooked fresh and ready when I arrive. I usually go with the teriyaki chicken burrito on a whole wheat tortilla. It's loaded and stacked to capacity with chicken, brown rice, edamame, wontons, broccoli, carrots, cucumber, green onions. Very healthy and very tasty. It is very easy to eat healthy here with all the options they offer. The staff is beyond friendly and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable. Plenty of seating inside and worth the walk. It's now on my rotation. read more

TLDR: ordered delivery only and I think it compromised the quality of our order. Not my favorite place to order from. Need to try in person! I was excited to order from Freshii becuase I love the idea of affordable and healthy food. I got the Buddha satay bowl. Unfortunately, my noodles, while still really warm, were congealed at the bottom of the bowl like a noodle cake. I tried to thin it out with the peanut sauce, but because the peanut sauce was also quite thick, it didn't really help. While I do try my best to be healthy, I don't believe you have to compromise flavor or texture. I want to try freshii in person, or maybe I just ordered the wrong item for delivery. read more

A friend who used to work in New Brunswick recommended Freshii to me and since then I've been a few times and have not been disappointed. I've tried the Buddha Satay bowl, the fiesta salad as a wrap, and the kale Caesar wrap with chicken (which I've had three times as of today. The kale Caesar wrap has to be my favorite - it is flavorful, fresh, and the chickpeas in it are so crispy and delicious. I love that they use a whole wheat wrap too. It's super nutritious and I feel energized, full, and not sluggish after I have their food. I also tried the tropical mango smoothie today and it was delicious without being super sweet. Apparently there is no added sugar (aside from honey), it is only sweetened by the fruit, which I love. Everyone who works here is always friendly and there is always parking, at least whenever I go. 10/10 would recommend! read more

I just ordered the new BerrI Crunchii Salad, & it was absolutely delicious. The strawberries & green apples were fresh & juicy, The greens were perfect & crunchy. Everything about it exceeded my expectations. I ordered it with falafel which made it more tantalizing. I will be ordering this again, very soon. The restaurant itself was very clean. Great new fresh food restaurant!! My fiancé and I checked this place out a few days ago and were warmly greeted by the owner. It's a cute little place with modern decor and a "order at front" space. We were shocked!! Really not that expensive at all. We ordered a wrap (adding a protein is additional, but not expensive, and lots of options; chicken, beef, tofu, falafel, etc), a Spicy lemongrass soup, and a coconut milk based smoothie. Total, $22. Really not bad considering other lunch options in New Brunswick right now. The owner was very sweet and also gave us two free things to try, a small sampler of a salad and a cute box of peanut butter energy balls (there was also chocolate flavor). My fiancé who LOVES those "perfect" peanut butter bars LOVED these. Even myself who just likes peanut butter liked these a lot. The sampler salad was very fresh and yummy- fresh apples, some quinoa, and nice light hand of dressing. And this was all BEFORE we got our food (which was incredibly fast). My soup came out very quickly and was smoking hot (which is what I want!!). Smelled delicious and reminded me of a fresher, simpler pho broth almost. Chock full of veggies that were very fresh and made for a gorgeous colorful dish!! It had just enough of a kick- it wasn't mouth-on-fire hot, but just enough to eat it quickly and not have your nose running like crazy. It curbed my cravings for some soup for sure and I can't wait to try more soups! My fiancé's wrap was gorgeously pressed with nice grill marks. I can't remember the "base" for the burrito, but it was TASTY and the falafel inside was veryyy tasty. His wrap came out to under $8, which is a deal. The smoothie was SO GOOD, nice and cold and super flavorful, not those smoothies made from sugary frozen fruit blends. Definitely nice and fresh, loved it!! The countless number of times I've been to Freshii and the countless times I've been disappointed. First of all, why advertise an opening time in the first place IF YOU ARENT ACTUALLY OPEN DURING THE LISTED TIMES Second, all of the menu items are significantly over-priced for under-seasoned foods. Third, there's supposed to be a discount for Plaza Square residents but I've only gotten that discount 50% of the time? Definitely dont recommend, can get better price and quality and reliability at Chipotle read more

So happy to find this cute little establishment in our travels! As a vegan, I'm always on the lookout for veg-forward places to take my carnivore hubby to avoid the typical fast food options or expensive restaurants and to wow him, and this place checked all the boxes. I ordered the lemongrass soup and a customized tex Mex bowl, and hubs ordered chipotle tacos, and not only was it all fresh and quite delish, it was beautiful, a feast for the eyes; we were full when we left, and it held us all afternoon as we caroused the lovely nearby Colonial Park. We loved the ambience of the place too, small but clean and bright, and food was affordable w/o skimping on quality. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and they took time to answer all questions and cater to all accommodations. It beats all the typical fast food joints hands down, and hubs agrees. OK, so it's a salad joint and they have a couple limited soups. Unfortunately I'm not the kind of guy that gets excited about salad. Unfortunately, I don't see anything that separates this rabbit food establishment with all of the rest. In fact, it's actually a little confusing to take orders because not everything is on the big menu. There really isn't anything unique or different than what you might expect from a dozen or so other competitors. Place was clean and the help was nice. Food was really good, healthy and fresh. Service was amazing. The person at the register must've been the owner. If he wasn't he should be. He guided us through the options, offered suggestions and brought our food to us. He even checked to see how everything was and took away the dishes when we were done. It was better food and service than I've had in fancier sit down restaurants. I will absolutely go again next time I'm in New Brunswick. read more

I've tried most "healthy fast food places" (Salad Works, Sweet Green, Honeygrow, Chopt) and after my first try at Freshii, this might just be my favorite! The ingredients were all super fresh and flavorful. I had a wrap, but will definitely be going back to try the smoothies and salads. Thankful for a healthy option on George St. that doesn't break the bank. read more

I was pleased to finally find a restaurant that offers delicious, healthy food in New Brunswick. The Market Salad with marinated tofu was great. They were out of the spicy lemongrass soup, which I ordered, but they were quick to refund me before I even called the third party delivery service to ask about it. Let me just start off, if I could have given them a higher rate than I would have. The owner was amazing and they had great customer service. I got the spicy chipotle cheddar and it was amazing. The owner also gave us free peanut butter balls to try and they were out of this world. I also got the reset juice and it was amazing as well. If anyone is hesitant, on trying this place, don't be. They are really clean, extremely nice, and they fill the bowl up! The owner kept making sure everything was good and it was beyond amazing. I will definitely be coming here again! read more

Loved the idea of this place when my colleague told me about it, but after visiting for lunch and getting a salad I was left disappointed. The salad was overpriced and didn't appear to be very fresh to me. The lettuce had some browning to it and the chicken looked as if it had been sitting refrigerated somewhere and waiting to be thrown in a wrap or on a salad. Just ate at this establishment and I am very impressed as I had a great experience! Upon entering, the owners were very friendly and went above & beyond as the gentleman took the time to explain the menu to us. I ordered the fiesta salad and my bf ordered the cobb wrap. Since it was our first time here, we were each given free energii bites. Cocoa for me, peanut butter for the hubs. They were yummy. My salad was hearty and delicious. The cilantro lime vinaigrette was superb. My bf loved his wrap and said it was the freshest he's ever had. Now we know why this place is called freshii! All of the ingredients tasted very fresh and high quality. The owners were nice enough to walk our food to our table and as we were leaving, the gentleman gave us some of the leftover recovery smoothie that he made and didn't want to go to waste. It was delicious! Overall, if you're looking for a healthy, hearty meal and excellent customer service - I highly suggest giving this place a try. Super fresh ingredients. After couple days of eating unhealthy during our vacation, Freshii was the perfect healthy cure. I ordered the Baja bowl and my husband ordered the Bamboo bowl. Both were so delicious and light (not too heavy). They also have a kids menu for the little ones. We also ordered couple cold pressed juices and the strawberry banana smoothie which was perfect, not too sweet. We'll be back soon! read more

I live in the building right above Freshii and was excited to see that a place to grab lunch or dinner would be right downstairs. The staff is super friendly and the food is fresh and always tasty. I like the chili and the salads that I usually add to whatever I am making for dinner or just have that for dinner. If you live in the neighborhood or passing by I recommend you stop by and not only get some tasty food but support a new business in our neighborhood! :) read more

Has my second meal here today and I ordered an item with the sauce on the side. The owner was super nice and suggested that he put it in a shake-up bag for me, so that I can ensure my whole bowl was evenly distributed with sauce and gave me the full run down on how to do it. Food was super tasty and portions were great. Nice alternative to a lot of the other unhealthier options in New Brunswick. I didn't know Freshii existed but I'm so glad I know now! This place has legit healthy & fresh food that's tasty, reasonably priced and can be customized. Excellent option for those of us that are conscious of our nutrition. Service was prompt and friendly. Decor fits the healthy vibe with white and green walls. Bathrooms clean. Metered parking available right in front (on a Friday for lunch). Go and check it out for yourself. Oh...They also do catering. read more

I ordered the fit and fueled, and the restaurant forgot the romaine. The entire dish was also scarce on all ingredients except for the shredded carrots and quinoa. There were a few tomatoes, feta, cucumbers, and bits of chicken scattered about, making the dish overall just carrots and quinoa. While I initially chose to dine in, I soon had to switch to takeout given the time it took to get my meal. However, between the yelling of customers and team and overall chaos of the place, dining in did not seem as relaxing as I first thought it would be. I did hear this place is still only a couple months old, so if I were more local Id wait a bit for operations to smoothen out before giving it another shot, but wouldn't discount it entirely based on my one experience.
