What a great new addition to Highland Park! The concept is a nice spin on the most fashionable food trends. Toasts, smoothies, juices, charcuterie and açaí bowls. I love every single one of these things so it is so hard to choose when you walk into this beautifully decorated store. I almost always choose the bowl. The half and half combo is a good way to go if you can't pick a base. I love them both. Then you choose a few things to go in top. I like to change it up each time. Next you select a granola and bham you have a cool summer treat for a meal. The smoothies and juices are a great way to go if you just need a drink. I have not tried the toasts or charcuterie yet so I will be back pronto. There is a little window seating if you would like to eat in or a set of tables outside which I prefer if I am with my children or dog. read more

First and foremost WOW!!! As soon as you walk in you are greeted and welcomed, the girl in the front explained the menu and recommended a couple of things she thought I would like based off of what I told her I was looking for. The owner was a delight. She recommended this watermelon smoothie that can I say was absolutely TOP NOTCH!!!! The avocado toast was beyond my imagination with cucumbers and tomatoes, and a drizzle of balsamic vinaigrette. Wow, my baby had an all natural juice which he loved. This is my second time back to Blendz, first time since their soft opening. I put an online order through DoorDash for pick up for a salad and a smoothie. My order went through but I never got a pick up time, so I went over to ask about it. The girl working said she didn't get the order but would make it for me while I waited. The owner (I assume) came in and told me that the DoorDash tablet crashed which is why they didn't get my order. It took about 15-20 minutes to get my food, but that's expected and I had the time to wait anyway. The salad was delicious and large, and the smoothie was good. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the food and the service I received. My only complaint is the price, but costs are high for everything these days so it is what it is. I was so excited to find that we had a charcuterie and juice place local. I started out by calling to order to charcuterie boards and a juice tonight. I was asked to call back to make my order, so I did. To my dismay, when I called back to place an order, the person taking my order, felt it OK to still communicate and talk loudly and take orders from people in the store. It made the conversation very erratic. To top it off they were out of what I wanted. They just open the store and cannot produce a cheeseboard with manchego on it. ‍ oh well back to Whole Foods for my chartruterie and Playa bowl for my juice. I really really really wanted to be able to support this place. It was kind of bothersome that they were out of manchego but what bothered me most was the customer service or the lack there of. read more

Too expensive for the food provided. The first time, I loved the salad (Greek Goddess), I loved especially the black olives. This time, the olives were not the same. They tasted like coming from a can. No flavor at all. The service seems very rushed. For two juices and one salad, I ended up paying $38 with Doordash. In regards to customer service, I agree with Olivia's review. My first time there, I ordered a salad and wanted to wait for it. The "cook" seemed bothered by my presence and told me: "You can wait outside for it". While he said that, he took more orders via headphones and I did not really know if he was talking to me or with the person on the phone. I stood outside in the hot sun on the busy street waiting for my salad and eventually thought this was ridiculous and went back inside. He had not even started my salad. In spite of that, I wanted to give the place another chance. I will likely produce my own salads (there is so much organic stuff out there) and save the money. read more
