I'm way overdue for this review but I figured let me do it now. I have been a regular customer at Jamba for a while now! Their smoothies are always made with fresh ingredients and service is quick! I'm a big fan of the Peanut Butter Moo'd but I must say everything that I've tried also tasted delicious too! They have a reward system where you earn 1 point for every $1 spent and 35 points automatically gives you $3 off next purchase. They usually send you additional discounts for being a member and there's a monthly mystery drink if you feeling adventurous! Jamba Juice, tasted soooo good after being so long without it-- how long you ask? My last Jamba Juice was May 2013, when I left Golden Cali to move to the Garden State. SO here is my review after so long. With NO Jamba Juice near my home local, this past Thursday, I finally had to give into the need and road trip it with Mini-Me! Hopped in the road cruiser, hopes high, sun glasses on, set WAZE & pedal to the metal to N. Brunswick, however after arriving Pony Express because of toll vs local settings ( my bad) Mini-Me exclaimed, "Geez I pass this everyday on my way home from work, how did I never see this?" Yep- I just turned and gave her THAT looked. SHE laughed and was out of the car before I was! Anyway, walking in- of course I had a supreme happy moment of giddiness, you have NO idea!! Jamba Juice smoothies pretty much were my main food source while pregnant with Mini-Me, 2 a day- at least. I craved my Orange Dream with Pineapple Juice instead of orange juice like it was going out of style, there were other flavors, but that was my main crave! So, there was one young lady working and she was polite and quick on the order. Shop was clean, smelled like a typical Jamba Juice shop, lots of new items, non of which I was interested in. Mini-Me ordered her favorite Aloha Pineapple, took her first sip & all was good. I got mine and was also so happy tasted just like I remembered it. Here are things I was disappointed with: Large smoothie is $8.50 here in NJ and $7.59 in CA. The cups are now clear AND I think they may be not the same serving portion. Large cups were like the large cups of iced beverage at DD- you know the shape I am talking about. Neither of our smoothie cups (both large) were full, definitely short on the end product AND this is before we took our first sips. Missing portion size, definitely noticeable and downer. read more

This is my favorite Jamba Juice location to go to. It's located in The Shoppes in North Brunswick. Parking is easy and I usually don't have to wait on line. I usually go for the fresh juices, as their smoothies aren't the healthiest and some of them have a lot of sugar! But once in a while I get the Peanut Butter Moo'd. Servers are pretty nice. I'm a fan of Jamba Juice in its entirety but this location is kind of lacking. It's small, so lines can get backed up easily or take a while. There's also only one table inside with most of the seating being outside. This doesn't really make much sense since it's only warm in the spring, summer, and parts of autumn. Considering that there is a Frutta Bowls basically right next to it that has plenty of seating for hanging out, this Jamba Juice is dimmed as a result. Also, serving sizes are not consistent. Sometimes, the cup is filled to the brim, other times it is not. Another thing to note, as others have pointed out, prices are higher here compared to those from other Jamba Juices. The staff have always been friendly and I have had no issues with them. This location always appears clean, and I do enjoy the smoothies such as Strawberries Whirl and Strawberries Wild. The smoothies are freshly made with real fruits which show through in their taste. They do not taste watered down by ice. Though limited in seating, there is plenty of parking. While this location of Jamba Juice is average for me, I appreciate that I can easily fulfill my smoothie craving in this convenient location! read more

So, I haven't been to Jamba Juice in quite awhile. Today I ran in after I couldn't get my usually drinks at Starbucks, which was under renovation. I scanned through the menu quickly, knew what I wanted and placed my two drink orders without looking at the prices. The cashier mumbled the total and I handed her my credit card. When the receipt was printed out, she repeated the price again, $17.10, please sign. Can someone please give me a Q-Tip. I think I have something stuck in my ears. $17.10?!, I shouted back at the cashier? Without flinching, she said, yep. For just two medium size drinks? That's like 4 medium size Kung Fu Tea drinks. Yup, not going to lie, I was a bit in shock as I stood there waiting for her to make my drinks. Here are the smoothies I ordered: Chocolate Protein Smoothie w/Bananas Matcha Green Tea Smoothie w/Soy Milk As I took my first sips, my brain slowly resuscitated from the shock. Was it delicious, it sure was slurping good. Will I come back and buy it again? Only if you're treating. The price just doesn't justify it for me. But at minimum, I would expect a Jamba Juice to have milk - a basic smoothie ingredient. I wound getting one with almond milk, but still, get it together. This is a great place! The smoothies are really frothy and delicious! They have such a big variety of smoothies with fruit and vegetables that sometimes it's hard to make a decision, about what you want! I got a smoothie with peanut butter in it, and it was so delicious. It was really creamy, and the peanut butter flavor added to it made it so good! Staff was friendly as well, and it was not crowded! The only criticism I would give is the store is not super clean. and the top of my smoothie did not stick on very well! Although, overall, great place! read more

OMG I was so thrilled when they opened a Jamba Juice kinda close to where my parents live (I'm still searching for an alternative in StL). Yes, this is totally a west coast thing, but it's so delish!!! Sure, there are lots of other smoothie places that have a similar menu, but for whatever reason, they're just not the same. Fruits are freshly blended, and they'll add a "boost" of whatever you want to your smoothie - I'm not sure if those boosts work or not bc I always leave super excited to have a Jamba Juice smoothie in hand. My personal fave is anything with mango (helloooooooo mega mango!!!). Prices aren't cheap, but I'm willing to shell out - it's totally worth it!!! read more

Two words: Secret Menu. Hot diggity dang. Such an awesome place. The Starbucks of smoothies (minus the pretentious Bohemian with the sticker covered laptop). You can literally create any flavor you please (which is sort of where the secret menu comes in). Combine different fruits to your liking and enjoy a nice cold beverage in a few minutes (all drinks made to order). There are a variety of established flavors on the menu which are good, but in addition there is this whole secret menu- white gummi bear, sour patch kids, fruity pebbles, butterfingers, and more. A really refreshing beverage on any day. Just beware, many of the drinks have significantly more sugar than sugar. Even the 'light' beverages have a ton of sugar. read more

It was a 2 for 1 deal and I came here recently on a lunch break and decided I would treat one of my co-workers to a free surprise drink from Jamba Juice. Well the staff was super friendly and I had my Mango Kale smoothie in a jiffy. It was pretty low calorie and had a nice helping of Mango and Kale. What really annoys me about these places sometimes is when you get flavored ice for $7 bucks, where it's like 90% ice with a dash of fruits and veggies. Well they really have their recipes down pat here and the smoothie was amazing. I was in and out of this location in less than 5 minutes tops. The best part of it was they actually made an extra smoothie that didn't work out for someone and offered it to me instead of having it go to waste. Well when I returned to work I was flush with smoothies. I had two to dole out to my favorite co-workers and boy where they so happy to get them. You should have seen the smiles on their faces as they guzzled down these tasty fruity treats. I will be a return customer here and I really enjoy this shopping center. They were out of almost everything that people asked for and it took 20 minutes to get one drink. The place looks horrible with chipped paint everywhere and dirty, disgusting floors. The last straw for me was when one of the girls was making an Acai bowl for a customer, and as she was cutting the fruit, she put one of the cut strawberries in her mouth and then proceeded to cut fruit with THE SAME HAND and put it in the woman's bowl.
