This chicken sandwich was so good!
Bethany K.

Caroline's was a really nice spot. My husband and I went for a date night and this was the perfect place. We went around the time that they opened, and there weren't many people there but they quickly filled up after an 30 minutes - hour. The potstickers were really good and tasted like they had lemongrass in the sauce. I got the chicken sandwich and it had so much flavor and the sauce that they use was really good. Definitely will come back in the future. Our server was very nice, I feel bad because he accidentally spilled some of my drink and you could tell he felt horrible, but he was really kind the entire meal. The only downside to this place would be that there were many gnats or fruit flies flying around us at the table in the corner and because we were near the windows it was pretty blinding as the sun was setting. I would just suggest paying attention to the blinds for future guests to check in and see if they want them lowered. It definitely wasn't enough of an issue to lose a star though, the food is delicious!

Being served complimentary flavored popcorn upon being seated was a tasteful and nice touch we were not expecting. It was addicting! Loved the refined ambiance. The staff was extremely friendly. Every person we passed greeted us and told us to have a great evening. While it is on the pricier side, the food was great and we surely had leftovers as portions were generous. I definitely recommend the chicken tenders and Mac and cheese. (I do feel the Mac and cheese could have used more pulled pork though). The dessert missed the mark for me, but we enjoyed everything else. The sangria was dangerously delicious.

Excellent staff and appetizers as well as fun cocktails. Good to watch a game or hang with family and friends for a good time . Very unique menu items more than just a Tavern and I can't say enough about the staff they were very friendly and made everyone feel at home. The shrimp appetizers was great can't wait to get the cacio de Pepe pierogis next home. We will be back soon.

For starters we had the shrimp tacos!!! $17 for 2 but worth every penny! And they were by far The best I've ever had!! Very fresh toppings and perfectly seasoned. And I loved the green sauce they topped it with. For dinner my husband and I split the $19 classic burger and substituted the fries for a Caesar salad. We also subbed the cheddar cheese for the smoked Gouda and omg chefs kiss!! Ordered it medium and It was cooked perfectly! For drinks we had a coke soda $3.50 and an uptown girl (lychee martini) $14 Both were good. The servers were really nice. The vibe was laid back. The volume of the music was perfect. The bathrooms were really clean. If ever in the area again I'd definitely come back!

I love their Caesar salad--it's consistently delicious and one of the main reasons I keep coming back. The service is always awesome, and the staff makes the experience even better. The ambiance of the place is also a big plus--great vibes all around, whether you're catching up with friends or just stopping by to unwind. It's a perfect spot for a quick happy hour. On top of that, I find their prices to be very fair for the quality you get. Overall, I would absolutely recommend, this place is a solid go-to and you won't be disappointed!

I didn't see much space for huge parties but be mindful and make the reservation in advance. Went for an early dinner at around 6:00ish and was seated immediately. Service was on point. Now for the food. The seasoning was immaculate. We did try the griot app (not pictured) and it was very flavorful. The Rasta pasta dish was seasoned appropriately and provided a comfortable heat. If you are used to typical heat of pikliz then you may find the spice level was at a mild level which paired nicely with the passion 75. The drink tasted more like a spin on a mimosa but I was wish the passionfruit was from the fruit to bring in the tartness - still good. The cheesecake was pretty standard. The glaze on top balanced out the creaminess well.

A few of my guests are very familiar with Haitian cuisine, so we were really looking forward to the experience. Unfortunately, I was immediately disappointed when we arrived because there was no customized/pre-booked menu prepared for our party as discussed beforehand. When I asked about it, I was told they were unsure what happened and no menus had been printed. Because of that, I had to ask the server to verbally explain the dinner selections and sides to everyone. Now for the food: The Ou La wings were delicious, and the crab cakes were excellent so flavorful and moist. We are familiar with soup bouillon, but unfortunately this version was not enjoyable to us. It had a very tangy taste that seemed off. For entrées, the griot was served with diri djon djon, fried plantains, and broccolini. The griot itself was good, but the plantains were fried extremely hard. This entrée was also supposed to come with salad russe, but that was missing. The salmon was delicious overall, although a few guests felt it was very dry. The mashed potatoes and broccolini were good. I also asked for pikliz, which was excellent and had the perfect kick to it. The drinks were definitely delicious and strong. Dessert was another disappointment because the crème brûlée I had pre-booked was unavailable. I ended up trying the carrot cake and almond toasted cake, which were okay. I will say our server was very sweet and attentive throughout the night. The restaurant itself was also nice and clean. However, the food took quite a while to come out, especially for a dinner that had been pre-planned in advance. Overall, there were just too many hiccups for an event that was booked ahead of time. While there were some enjoyable dishes and good service, I personally would not recommend this place for a large party or special pre-planned event.

Upon getting there, it is a nice Marina bar that has a grave a lot. We walked shortly from the parking lot and got seats of the bar right away. There was a good amount of people there for a Saturday afternoon. However, we were helped right away. Their beer prices are pretty phenomenal in my opinion. The selection I think is pretty good too. We were speaking with one of the people behind the bar and they said the plan is to also have food trucks here eventually as well for a food option. There is ample seating here as you can see from some of the pictures I took and the two staff we talked to were very friendly. One thing that could be a pro or a con depending on your disposition is that this is an outdoor bar. There are a lot of fans going and it has a very nice breeze. How over on a hot day where something loose and breathable. However, in the spring and fall I can imagine this place having a big crowd because it seems like a really nice place to have a drink and hang out. All in all. If you're local, I would definitely come check this place out. We will definitely be back in the future.

Nestled in downtown Woodbridge NJ, this steakhouse is located inside of an old bank! I already knew before entering it was gonna be beautiful! We were greeted by the hostess and owner of the restaurant. They immediately said happy anniversary to us and escorted us upstairs to our table. As i thought this restaurant is stunning. Sexy dim lighting, beautiful chandelier and candelabras adorned the bigger tables. The space is huge. High ceilings and even an elevator. I couldnt resist snapping pics of the aged meat behind the glass. Every detail in this restaurant is intentional. Our waitress Danya was the sweetest!!!! She was so attentive and took time to explain the menu. She checked on us the entire evening. She didnt miss a beat. Even saw that my fork had some dishwashing spots and went to get me another. For the food, we started with fried calamari and crabcakes which were both outstanding! We ordered cocktails which was old fashioned and a bay breeze made perfectly. The main course is the reason u come here! We ordered the porterhouse for two with the truffle mac and Brussels sprouts. Steak has a really nice flavor! I didnt like the truffle mac but the brussel sprouts were delicious!! We were def full but our wonder waitress insisted on a celebratory ice cream with a sparkling candle. It was very nice! Before we left the owner came up to ask how everything was. He was a cool guy and told us a bit about the restaurant and his future expansion happening! I love that he said he use to come to the bank with his parents as a kid and now he owns a restaurant in the space....full circle moment. We truly enjoyed our time here! Thank u for making our Anniversary dinner so special. We will for sure be returning. I have to try the snapper next time!!!
