Lovely experience sort of like eating in your living room. Such a great sexy intimate venue. Very pricy but you only live once. To my disappointment they do not offer the watermelon salad anymore do I had to try the new replacement which was good. Aldo tried the chicken lollipops and tuna appetizer which were great. The waiter was attentive but basically did everything himself as there was only him and one runner working the entire restaurant (Wednesday evening). I'm gonna start off with the biggest negative: the music. It was TOO loud and honestly too clubby for a restaurant that looked as nice as this... we could barely have a conversation and we were sitting right next to each other at a booth. It was close to 10pm and the music was still on full blast. The food was meh. They started us off with bread and butter for the table which was nice. We ordered the cheese board and the octopus. Both were sub par in my opinion. The meat on the cheeseboard was tough as nails and some of the cheeses were difficult to cut/enjoy. Not the best I've had but it was interesting. We were looking forward to the octopus but I was sadly disappointed. The octopus itself was overcooked and too rubbery. It was also drowned out in so many other flavors. The chorizo was unecessary. The squid ink aioli was interesting and very good though, glad I got to try that! Everything was also very expensive. The place itself is beautiful. Very posh. they had a somewhat strict dress code at the front but none of it was enforced. If you're single and want an expensive drink with your boys I think this is the right place... but if you want to have dinner/catch up with friends/TALK at all, I think you should find another place. read more

First timer and will def be back! From the monent I walked in, I knew this was going to be a treat. Our hostess Christelbell was a doll. She knew that menu and was able to explain our options....so well that our mouths were watering! First part of the Le Malt Lounge experience is their website. When my friend asked if we should meet at there, I took one quick scroll on their website and was sold. It is valet parking even if there are available parking spaces (or you can take a rather inconvenient walk where self-parking is allowed). Coat check is available at the host area. The restaurant does not look like much from the outside as it is located on the corner of a strip mall. The inside, however, is very elegant. The hostess asked us if we had reservations which we did not, but I believe it is preferred. Once I was seated, I noticed our table was a little wobbly, but I didn't complain. My friend arrived a little after me, and we started ordering our drinks, apps, entrees, and desserts. Everything was delicious. All our plates had great presentation. To start I ordered the deviled eggs which were topped with applewood smoked bacon. My friend ordered the seared Hawaiian scallops which was a very small serving. We shared our apps, both truly had great flavor. I had the cowboy steak for my entree, and it was perfectly cooked, tender, and well seasoned. I ate what I could and enjoyed my leftovers the next day. Afterwards, I had the lemon bars to fill up that little area that I try to save in my stomach for dessert. I cannot remember what I ordered to drink. I will come back to update this review if I think of it. It was one of their cocktails, and the both of us may have ordered more than one (or two). The service was a little slow, but I'll say it was because it was the end of the night. Everything else was a hit and I would definitely recommend trying them out for a date night or even a night out with your friends. The inside is very fancy and chic. There's a coat check as soon as you walk in. The service was good, we didn't wait too long for anything, but my husband was very surprised they only gave us one menu. We had to ask for another (not a big deal to me, but might be for some). The menu has some good options but very pricey, so my husband and I just stuck with a couple appetizers and drinks. Was looking for a cocktail bar on a Friday night and found this gem. The place is very upscale and it truly is a premium experience through and through. They didn't have any tables available (highly recommend making a reservation since the capacity is 80 people) but we managed to get a couple of sits at the bar. They don't have a parking lot but they do have a free valet. The place looks modern and they had a DJ on site who also took song requests. It truly elevated the experience! As for the food, boy is it good. We got the cheese board as an appetizer (yummy!) and the truffle chocolate for dessert. I got the petite filet mignon and my wife got the Alaskan salmon. Both were fantastic and we felt it truly was worth the higher price tag. The steak was cooked to perfection and it was very juicy. The salmon was also perfectly cooked. My favorite part of the experience was the cocktails. We tried 6 different ones between my wife and I and there wasn't a single one we didn't enjoy. There is valet parking but we didn't want to pay for it since the lounge was closing soon so we parked in an empty lot right next to it. Upon walking in, I was blown away. Dim lighting, the chairs were super comfy, the atmosphere was chill and the drinks were great! I ordered the Strawberry Henny sangria which I do recommend and I'm not even a Henny chick. They also had a food menu so I have to come back to check that out. We ordered water which was $7 for a shareable bottle so keep that in mind. There's a mandatory valet ( Attendent aggressively asks for a tip after ) but you can park your car yourself if you go through another entrance. There was also a mandatory coat check ( Free). I highly recommend Le malt lounge!! Everything was top notch and above & beyond. The service and hospitality was wonderful as well. The interior is decorated really nicely for a cozy experience. We had many extravagant cocktails, my favorite being the sangria. I also got to try the Parmesan espresso martini which was unique. The cocktail presentation is fun, some smoking and lit on fire! The food was also amazing. I highly recommend the devil eggs, lamb empanadas, and risotto. The tuna, lamb and chicken lollipops were also great too. Beautiful decor with incredible whiskey & sprites on display. With Covid still around le malt did a phenomenal job with cleanliness and keeping tables in a distance. Our waitress Genesis exceeded expectation she was so sweet and kind and also very patient with us. Well, women who wear beautiful hats especially that which compliments their outfit should not be asked or made to take them off! I said to the hostess up front; I will leave and eat somewhere else; she quickly made an "exception" (to this "rule" not even on the website for women) and allowed me inside; however, as my spouse and I sat to dine, many were allowed inside with jeans, turbans, head wraps, and lumberjack shirts, etc., which broke every rule of attire protocol on your website. This place is sick inside! You'd never suspect how beautiful, regal, and sophisticated it is before walking in. It's a great Instagram place for photos, really sleek and pretty. The reason this is a surprise is because the outside looks like a normal strip mall type facade attached to a liquor store. Fixing up the outside would help match the ambiance inside. For appetizer, i had the tuna tostada that was really good and complemented my first drink really well. For entree, i had the pan roasted Chilean Seas bass which was topped with a crab cake and a base of spinach. That was really really really good. Gotta get all ingredients on the fork to enjoy all the flavours! My Second drink was an El Matador which was really good as well! The smokiness of the Mezcal made the drink A1 and that says a lot seeing as how I'm usually a cognac guy. For dessert, i had the fried cheesecake which came with ice cream. It was an ok dessert. I came here for my sister in laws birthday. We were a group of 7 ladies dining inside. We arrived for our reservation at 7:30 and felt that the hostess did not give us a friendly welcoming. In addition to that, we were told we could not keep our jackets on inside the restaurant as that is part of their dress code. She didn't even smile , it was really tasteless and unpleasant but we stayed because we had a larger group and didn't want to inconvenience anyone. After we all sat down the women who approached us for our drink order, not smiling of course, just stated her name and asked what we wanted to drink. If you ever dine out, the FIRST thing a good restaurant will always ask their guest is "have you dined with us before" then follow through with "let me know if you have any questions". The service was horrible. They need to be trained better on how to approach their guest, make them feel welcomed and comfortable. We ordered our drinks, that part was effortless and to be honest the drinks were very well made. Kudos to the bartender. We ordered a few apps to share: the meat & cheese board, the risotto fritters and watermelon feta salad. Everything was good. As for the entrees, we ordered a few Chilean Sea Bass, the Wild Mushroom Ravioli, Scottish Salmon, Pork Chop & side of lobster Mac and cheese. Chilean sea bass was SALTY!! Everything else was just good, nothing special. Not enough lobster in the Mac and cheese, very disappointing. We ordered dessert , again nothing special. Honestly, I give the food a 2/10. For the prices of the meals, I expected more. And to top everything off, place is called a lounge right ?! They have a great DJ with great music and you can't dance .. but I watched the workers walk around and dance while they were walking back and forth around the dining room. Very interesting to me that you can't dance while there is a DJ playing loud music. What really annoyed me is taking my coat then feeling cold air down my back right about me the vent was blowing COLD air when it's 45 degrees out. The only vegan option is the kale and fennel salad, because every appetizer and entree either has seafood, dairy or meat. If I was only going to rate only on looks of the place it would be a 5. It gives grown and sexy vibes, but the service and the food should only be a 1. We went to celebrate a friend's birthday and was seated in the area that looks like VIP towards the back. It was a surprise birthday dinner, so we arrived 20 minutes before our friend and ordered drinks. Our party total was only 7 people so not a very large group. The birthday person arrived and ordered his drink. About 40 minutes later we got our first round of drinks except for the birthday person drink. That took an extra 15 minutes. It came a point that when they came to drop of the round of drinks, we just ordered the next round because it would take about 45 minutes to an hour get the next round. Food- For apps we ordered 2 orders of lamb chops, bacon, devil eggs and squid. Even that came separate. We ordered 2 of each so we all could have a taste, but they would drop off one order of lamb chops and then 30 minutes the other. For dinner I order the bone in filet which I already was not too fond of because even at actual steakhouses I have not paid $100 for a filet. Well, it arrived overcooked. I ordered it medium, and it was beyond cooked. They said they could take it back, but it would be about an hour before the other one would come out. I just returned it and shared food with my boyfriend and friend. Other dishes we ordered were the Chilean sea bass, spicy rigatoni, short rib burger (needed to order 2, but they only had 1 left) and lobster mac and cheese. Nothing was great honestly. The only dish that we loved was the glazed bacon. This place has a lot of potential but really need to work on their service and having things available. Too many dishes were out that night. My entire party was upset with the service and its crazy because we thought we found a gem. read more

Unfortunately didn't get very far. We arrived shortly after 7pm. Both of the women who were hosting at the front of the house were pretentious, rude, and refused to assist us. We were told they were no reservations to be had and when we asked to sit at the bar we were rejected. My boyfriend and I will never return. Despite every raving review for the food and ambiance there is nothing that could make us want to dine in an establishment that seemingly pushes clients out the door.
