Lovely first visit to Town Hearth! Brandy was our server, and she was amazing at her recommendations and with her service! We came on a Monday night for a work dinner. Our table got an array of different cocktails to start, and everyone loved their choices! I had their devil's haircut, and my god it was one of the best old fashioned I've had in my life! For apps, we got bread, tot oscar, and caesar salad. It was all ok. Brandy told us it was recommended to get different dishes and do family style, so we got pasta, lobster, cod, and 2 different steaks. Their pasta was what stood out to me, same with the lobster, For sides, we got spinach au gratin, brussels, and potatoes which were all delicious. Great wine selection and good vibes, I just wish it wasn't so loud!

Recently had a girls dinner here celebrating our friend's birthday and I was pleasantly surprised!! It was packed on Saturday night at 6pm! Loved all the pretty chandeliers and the overall vibe of the restaurant! And our server was soooo nice and sweet and definitely made our dining experience that much better! We ordered multiple dishes and did family style and everything we had was delicious! The portions for the sides were huge too! I think it was the perfect way to experience my first time dining here so I can try a little bit of everything! The bone-in ribeye was cooked very well! So juicy and flavorful! The bucatini pasta was yummy too! And the Elvis dessert, was delicious!!! Highly recommend getting the dessert. I'll definitely be going back here.

I have had multiple dining experiences at Town Hearth, and they never disappoint. This time I visited for a business meeting and dinner and everything from the service to the food was exceptional. My business associates were from Chicago, and they think they know steaks there. They were blown away by the unique decor, but even more impressed with the exceptional quality of the food. Our steaks were top notch (and way better than Chicago). Highly recommend.

After a family friend recommended this place to me, i had the best birthday dinner ever. the service was impeccable, our waitress was very accommodating and curious though pricy, the wagyu was the best steak i've ever had the ambience was an 11/10. Super creative decorations + the fish installations best bathroom i've ever indulged in, super cool submarine vibe with countless amenities. The cherry on top was the free cake, and the card that the staff team signed for my special day! Go, you will not regret

It's a rare thing to encounter the level of warmth and kindness that I felt at this restaurant. Great service is one thing, but they have something far different here, and it's truly special. I don't know how to describe it. I've dined at plenty of restaurants that have impeccable and attentive service. They are all that... and more. I came in to dine alone. Not at the bar, but at a table. I was seated at a lovely table near their very cool fish tank. I appreciated not being tucked away in some unfortunate corner, though I don't think this gorgeous restaurant even has any such spot. From the moment I arrived, everyone was so incredibly friendly. Herman introduced himself and took my drink order. Then he came back and we talked through the menu options. He asked about what I like and guided me to the most fantastic cod dish. It's a massive portion and was far more than I could eat... but it really was quite delicious. I also had the bacon appetizer and a side of brussels sprouts. Both were perfection. The brussels were to die for. Really... don't skip those! If you want something extra incredible, eat the brussels sprouts WITH the bacon. Holy moly. As the night went on, several other members of the staff stopped by to check on me and each made a small bit of conversation. Every single person made me feel so welcome. As I left, multiple people shook my hand and thanked me for visiting them. Another wished me safe travel back home. I've only ever felt that kind of warm hospitality at places where I dine regularly and the staff all know me. They truly made my solo dinner an evening to remember.

Super cozy restaurant with amazing and fun decorations throughout the inside! We had a variety of starters, including the ahi nachos, bacon, Oscar tots and all were delicious. We got multiple large steaks and sides and all were cooked to our liking and delicious. They even sent the bones home for our dogs. Our server Brock was the best and we will definitely be back.

Bestie is in town and I wanted to make a booking somewhere that felt fun. He loves a good steakhouse and while I've had a few recommendations, I'll always end up choosing what I want. I loved the pics and energy I felt when checking out Town Hearth. Was it the chandeliers?!? The Ducati or the yellow submarine? Yes, yes and yes! All of the above. Now I'd be more impressed if they were all Baccarat but I'm assuming they aren't. Did my homework real quick, they are RH. Which now makes sense, similar to RH's patio in Yountville. Nonetheless, I loved them! I love borderline over the top. I feel like that's just the right amount. We originally had an 845p booking this past Saturday but I was able to bump to 5p. I've never had an issue eating during a senior citizen hour. We are in the states. I feel like 845p is something I'll only do abroad. I want to be winding down for the night by 845p not starting dinner. Crazy boring I know! We'd left the George Bush library and 5p felt perfectly in alignment for the day. I love a place of silence just as much as I love a very bustling dining room. I'm your perfect ambivert. We arrived to an empty restaurant and I loved every second of it. By then time we were leaving every seat was full, which was fun as well. Having just moved here, I've been wanting to observe the Dallas scene. This was a perfect opportunity to do so. The cocktail list impressed me and very little impresses me. I wanted to work our way down each drink between the two of us but I think that would put us at 2.5 drinks each ;) my tummy couldn't do that much liquid in addition to food. I ordered Summer in Dallas to begin with, and ended with a Devils Haircut. I'm a tequila and bourbon gal through and through. Bestie asked which was my fav, and that will always be a bourbon based cocktail. Both were fantastic though. We both ordered lobster bisque. Delish!!! 3 ounces of lobster in each of these. I ordered the 8 oz filet mignon which I was able to finish at least 5 ounces of. Bestie ordered the Delmonico 16 oz boneless ribeye. I didn't try a bite but I think he enjoyed it. We shared the fried Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes, both superb! How in the world are we still not done... We topped off the meal, where? How? With our dessert stomachs of course! And ordered the Mud Pie. Totally yummy and refreshing way to conclude a Dallas Summer evening at Town Hearth. Can I toss this together at home, ofc but it was perfection here. Mud Pie - Oreo crust, coffee ice cream, rocky road ice-cream, chocolate topping and drizzle with whip cream. Whew! I'm full just typing this. Service was 5 STAR. I loved the place. Fun spot for something that feels a little extra, I didn't feel anything we ordered lacked in any way. Fun spot!

Hands down the best steak house experience, food and service I've ever experienced. I travel a lot for work and am fortunate to eat at a lot of steak restaurants and was blown away. If you have the money, time and want to create incredible memories - make it happen.

We celebrated a friend's birthday at this fun restaurant. The yellow submarine, all of the chandeliers, leather seats, and large American flag, were enough to make me come back even before we had incredible service and food. What a good time! Bonus: best crème brûlée we've ever had. A friend said his velvet cake was the best he has ever had as well. Everyone enjoyed their steaks, slab of bourbon syrup soaked bacon, meatballs, brussels sprouts, and even the cheeseburger with fries was delicious! We will be back again. Outstanding ambience!

The staff here are very attentive and take great care of you. Honestly the food blew me away as well. The smokiness of the steak made it unique but might not be for everyone. I particularly loved the beef tartar and could not stop eating it. We weren't planning on ordering pasta, but it sounded too good to pass up. Overall everything was delicious, and u would definitely come back for a special occasion.

The exterior is deceiving to the excellent interior design. Hailey took care of us and gave not only great service, but also insight. We shared the 16 oz Delmonico, nachos, scallop special, Brussels sprouts ,elote, and Elvis Presley dessert. Nothing disappointed, it was the perfect amount of food. With tip, the total was about $240-250, so just know before you go. Try it and be wowed!

Might as well go big or go home on vacation right? Town her was quite an experience from the moment you get in their parking lot. The atmosphere inside is elegant, classy, with some art deco. We definitely ordered way too much food but no regrets. I really enjoyed the scallop dish and surprisingly enough the Elvis Napoleon, which was given to us for our three year anniversary. I really enjoy the prim rib but wish the horseradish sauce had more bite to it and the mushrooms. I feel like we could've done without altogether. Fancy place for special occasions.

An incredible experience all around. The service was outstanding--friendly, timely, and on point the entire night. The food? Nearly flawless. I had the Delmonico steak (perfectly cooked), fries, crème brûlée, red velvet cake, and got to try the beef tenderloin, meatballs, and thick-cut bacon (unreal). Every dish delivered on flavor and quality. The only thing that didn't wow me were the salads - they were just okay. But everything else more than made up for it. Ambiance is cool, quirky, and memorable. It's a little cramped, but the vibe, food, and service make it 100% worth it. I'm coming back.

Ask the Community - Town Hearth

How's the parking? Is it open or valet only?

The valet is free and they do a really good job.

Do they have gluten free options / are they celiac friendly?

Yes! When i made reservations they asked if anyone in our party had dietary restrictions. We have one person who is gluten intolerant but not celiac. The waiter asked is first thing who would need gf options, then as we went over the menu, he told… Read more

What is the attire?

Most people were semi-casual when we went for dinner. Although i dressed totally casual and it didnt matter at all. No formal rules

Can you get same day reservations?

It depends on how many people are in your party and for what day and time. They take reservations over the phone (not via their website or OpenTable) and I was able to get a reservation for 6PM on a Friday by calling in 3 days prior.

Is it BYOB?

No. They have a full bar with delicious cocktails, in addition to beer and wine.

Thankfully, that is NOT the experience I had at Haywire! I ate here on August 9th, 2025 and enjoyed everything about it. I was with a large party but would love to return for a more intimate experience. On this Saturday, my younger cousin was graduating from Parker University so I was in town for the weekend. At around 1pm, I was one of the first to arrive at the restaurant. Unfortunately the parking is a bit confusing. There was construction being done on the same street when I went but there's a parking garage for customers that's difficult to navigate AND the elevator that connects wasn't operating at the time which was an issue for many (but not me, I got a good spot & walked). My party hadn't all arrived yet so I took a gander. Upon entering the tall doors, the space breathes southwestern elegance: wooden structure, leather seating, separate dining areas with highlighted ranch-style art. The abundance of space gives it an open-concept feel. The lighting fixtures are modern, the space was dim but not too low, with an option to utilize the large windows also. I was quiet impressed at the overall presentation. When my party did arrive, I wanted to keep it simple so I ordered the Chicken Cobb Salad and a Hibiscus Haze with Vodka. The table shmoozed as we ate some of the appetizers: the Crab Dip & Green Tomatoes, both amazing. The food did take some time but, considering it was 10-12 of us, that's expected. The Hibiscus Haze was splendid: smooth & flavorful, a great concoction. Cobb salads are usually pretty thick but this one was HEARTY. It came in a large bowl stuffed with the all the toppings. The dressing it was tossed with was well balanced but could've used a tad bit more. With some pepper & a little ranch, I was set! I defeated the salad but it also left me stuffed to the gills. Satisfying meal that I would order again! There are tons of restaurants to dine at in Dallas & sometimes you never know which is worth your time. Despite the inconvenience of parking, I'd bet my bottom dollar that this is a good place to eat. Whether you want a fine dining experience, it's a special occasion or just want a good drink with a meal, Haywire has enough to satisfy all interests.

Knowledgeable about the menu & great recommendations. Kev was a joy to have as our server. The food is amazing & love the ambiance of the restaurant. My only complaint...we came in early Saturday prior to Stars game. The restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked if we had a reservation. We did not, the restaurant wasn't busy at all. We were asked to wait. Waited maybe 5-10mins. No biggie, A lot of open tables were available for immediate sit down. Again that wasn't a big deal. I had asked for a booth & wanted to sit in front room. The hostess said no a problem. She handed us off to a younger hostess and she took us to a table. I told her I had requested a booth. In the front room only 3 tables were occupied. I pointed out the booth and she said that's for party of 6. However, we could have the 1/2 table/booth. Made absolutely no sense because that was for a party of 6 as well. I made this comment & she just stared at me without saying a word. I didn't want to seem difficult and took the table as she just walked away. Kev was confused as we were. No good communication skills. It was an awkward encounter. The restaurant wasn't busy at all & never was whole time there. Kev wasn't sure why she didn't move us a requested & was puzzled himself. However i apologized to him & explained I wasn't trying to be difficult, but prefer booth sitting and most times we will wait for one. We left at 1:45p and restaurant was no busier than when we arrived. Reservation/Booth or not! I guess saying all of this, your front staff need to have more people skills when dealing with your customers. They are the face and first point of contact. Again Kev was amazing & food was outstanding!

However, my experience this past Saturday wasn't quite up to the usual standard. Although my server, Kate, did her best and was attentive in taking my order, the overall service seemed a bit off. The kitchen appeared to be short-staffed, yet there were plenty of servers standing around instead of helping out as a team. I believe teamwork is crucial in creating a smooth dining experience. After waiting nearly 30 minutes for my appetizer, I had to send back the gator bites because they were served cold. With a bill of over $230 before tip, I don't think it's unreasonable to expect prompt, hot food. I tried to be understanding--having worked in the service industry myself--but there's definitely room for improvement on the coordination between staff and the bar. To their credit, once the food did arrive, everything was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious--exactly what keeps me coming back. One small disappointment was that, unlike with the table next to us, a manager never stopped by to apologize for the earlier issues at our table. Even with the hiccups, the food itself still deserves five stars. It's hard to give a place like Pappadeaux's anything less when the flavors are that good.

Pappadeaux Seafood Kitchen…read more Friday afternoon lunch was not the best experience. I guess the professional server is a dinosaur theses days. Apparently, Pappadeaux's has had to pull from a a bad pool of applicants. While my server was friendly, she was either overwhelmed or just plain forgetful. I ate a few gator bites that arrived with bread service (which was completely out of order) before I asked for a container to transfer them to so they would not be soggy from the pool of sauce they were in. When she finally resurfaced, it was too late. I had already transferred them to the bread plate to save them. She did apologize. The shrimp & crab cobb salad is a standard for me and the last two times I have been disappointed. They changed it to a wedge of iceberg lettuce. The wedge used to be what appeared was a 1/4 head of lettuce. Now it looks like they have increased the yield and now get 8 wedges from a single head of lettuce. For a $30 salad of nutritionally dense iceberg, this is ridiculous! The wedge looked more like a slice of lettuce. The shrimp were cut in half, and there was an excessive amount of grape tomatoes. The toppings far outweighed the lettuce. If you're not going to cut the lettuce up, then do not cut my shrimp either! Very disappointed! After asking the server for the bill and to-go containers, she disappeared again. I thought it was shift change. I had to ask a manager who was taking a complaint from the table next to me. They too, were upset about the level of service from the same server. I let the manager know as well, "at these price points the service is not up to standard". She apologized but never asked for details. What kind of hospitality manager responds this way??? Now Im super pissed! I thought the FOH mgmt was subpar at Richardson (which is specifically why I drove further to Oak Lawn), but Oak Lawn has them too. I am done w/Pappadeaux's. It costs too much to have to experience this type of service and and clueless mgmt. There are burger joints with better service.
