A small corner in the Hmart store, this French Asian inspired bakery is quite full of nice surprises with pastries, slices of bread, drinks and more. There are also cakes to order, macarons and seasonal treats.

So many options for french/asian bakeries, but Tous Les Jour is becoming my go to when I need something cream cheesy, red beany, croissanty. The giant Mont Blanc pastry is a big round croissant, easily shareable for $4.50. Cloud bagel is a donut shaped milk bread with a bit more chew. Red bean and cream chz pastries satisfy any cravings. This bakery occupies a small corner of Hmart, but has a good selection of cakes, pastries, bread and drinks. A good stop before u get to the produce dept.

I ordered a kimchi croquette and a curry croquette and they were both super delicious I hope to come back and try the normal version of their croquette next time

Cakes might be cheaper than 85 or Paris Baguette, but size is smaller. The difference? The cakes are much better! 1. Ordered a Mango Cloud Cake #2 on the phone 2. Went to pick it up at a specific time. They were still putting the finishing touch. The cake was not made the night before!!! 3. Received 10% off for ordering more than a day before. 4. Cake came with candles and a knife Most importantly, the cake was pretty good. Soft sponge cake with creamy mango filling full of flavors. Will try some other flavor next time

The cakes looked fresh and the facility looked clean. I would just be careful with what you get rung up. Some of the pastries we got were rang up for a more expensive one that we didn't get. And that happens, but no sorry or anything while we stood around for her to figure it out. She didn't seem to know the pastries apart. She seem nice but just not trained. I mean what do I expect from a market bakery store. But we got the Red Velvet cake and that was good. Private parking in front

Cakes look good and are equally expensive as its competitors like 85 degrees and Paris Baguette. This particular store is inside H mart at a corner on the right of the entrance. They do have a lot of parking outside. The cake variety is good and u can pre order and get names/ wishes written on the cake as a special request if u can let them know in advance. They are open early on weekends too so that is always a plus. One star deducted - coz they had no pastry/ cake by slice to sell. I was hoping i could buy a pastry and try the flavor before i order it but that was not an option. Other star deducted for no sit down as this outlet is inside a grocery store so doesnt offer many savory stuff or seating area to enjoy the treats. The staff was friendly!

Saw an Among Us cake from Tous Les Jours one day, and I knew I had to get it! I celebrated a birthday this past weekend, so this made the perfect birthday cake for my boyfriend. I ordered about a week in advance for pick up, pro tip: you get 10% your cake if you order more than 24 hours in advance! The only Among Us cake they had was the chocolate crunch one. I wish they had other flavors available since none of us are very big fans of chocolate. This is located just inside of H-Mart, directly on the right once you enter. The person who helped me was nice and helpful as they helped me get my cake. The flavor of the cake wasn't as bad as I thought. The chocolate flavor wasn't too strong and the "crunch" was a nice touch to balance out the cake. The hard chocolate shell on the outside was a little thick and was very rich in chocolate flavor. I loved the little decorations on the cake too! All in all, it definitely made a good laugh for everyone and we all enjoyed the cake. It was a pleasant first time trying Tous Les Jours too!

**Review solely based on CAKES** I love me some Tous Les Jours and I love it even more due to it being not too far from home. TY to my sis & cousin for always introducing me to some of the most amazing eats!!! This little gem is located INSIDE of H Mart. Any visit to the supermarket will immediately bring you face to face with TLJ's pastry case filled with an assortment of beautifully decorated cakes & colorful macarons. They also offer a decent amount of sweet and savory pastries as well as drinks. I have been coming here and purchasing cakes for the past few years and am rarely disappointed. Cakes are always fresh and so very beautiful!! I have never pre-ordered a cake, instead I opt to walk in and chose from whatever they are currently offering. Do I recommend winging it? Probably not but it does force you to try different flavors and keeps things from getting boring. We've never been disappointed so why fix something that's not broke, right?? Lmao. All things considered, be aware that there are a few things that may irk you: -Cakes are on the smaller side and will cost you $30-40 easily. -Requesting to have something written on your cake board is not guaranteed to look "pretty". It all depends on who is currently on the clock. -Depending on your cake chosen, designs with cocoa powder tends to be on the super duper heavy side. So heavy that guests can find themselves choking from all of the dusting. EAT WITH CAUTION. 4 solid stars. Tous Les Jours always comes through.

Tous Les Jours is located inside of H Mart which is in a little plaza with plenty of parking. I got the Spinach Feta Danish Garlic Cream Cheese Bread Milk Cream Bread And I forgot what it's called but it's a flat cream cheese pastry with a hint of peanut butter I've never had a Spinach Feta Danish before and I thought it was SO GOOD and I'd highly recommend it! The Milk Cream Bread was also delicious, it was very fluffy with a vanilla custard. I felt like it had the perfect light sweetness which is what I prefer in my pastries sometimes and what made it enjoyable for me. I love garlic pastries but I thought the cream cheese in the garlic bread was a bit overwhelming. Same with the peanut butter in the flat cream cheese pastry, I don't remember seeing peanut butter as a ingredient in it so it took me by surprise, but it honestly wasn't that bad, it was just a little bit dry. The workers at Tous Les Jours were so nice and helpful! Definitely will be back to try other pastries if I happen to stop by H Mart again!

My review is solely based on the cakes Tous Les Jours offers since I have not tried any other pastry or drink from this chain. My family is certainly a fan of their tiramisu cake!! The cake itself is so soft and it cuts through easily. One of the things you need to watch out for is definitely that heavy heaping amount of coco powder! I remember even getting choked up because of it but the cake itself was still great! Overall a great place to get pastries and cakes if you're craving anything sweet.

*Review is for whole cake order* Ordering was super easy and service was great. I called in to order a whole cake for a friend's birthday. I've ordered cakes from Paris Baguette and 85C Bakery before, but I think I will most definitely order from here instead from now on. Cakes are slightly cheaper, there are more options, AND they do birthday writing (on the cake base) which is super cute. I ordered the Cloud Cake #3 and was so impressed because it was $35 and it was able to serve 15 people perfectly (with small-medium sized slices, i'd say closer to medium). I called in to place the order around 10am and picked it up at 6pm. Cakes come with a serving knife, candles, and matches. Only giving 4 stars and not 5 because I felt the actual cake layers could have been a bit thicker for better cake:frosting proportions. But overall still a pretty solid fruit cake with light, fluffy, not-too-sweet frosting.

They're best known for their famous Burnt Almond Cake, though they also offer a variety of other pastries. Personally, I come here just for the cake. They sell it by the slice or cupcakes, and they also have whole cakes ready to go. If you're looking for a custom cake, though, be sure to place your order in advance. Whenever I'm in the area, I always stop by to pick up a few cakes to bring home for my family, but I can probably eat a whole cake to myself lol. As a first-time customer, I had no idea they donate your paid order if you miss the pickup date. I was told I received a reminder email and that the policy was disclosed, but neither happened. I spoke directly with the owner, Cassey, explained the situation, and asked why no one contacted me before giving away something I had already paid for. At some point, she basically just stopped responding to me on the phone. All of this over a $30 order that probably could've been resolved with the tiniest bit of customer service. Instead, I'm now annoyed enough to be writing a catty Yelp review and hoping for Peter Bakery's demise lol -- Edit: just to reiterate here, cause I hate being called a liar. I came the following day and I was told the cake was already donated. My call today was to escalate the item I paid for but was given away. Lastly, no information about donations in the email, nor was a reminder email sent. Rather than checking their systems to verify, they continue to double down. $30 bucks lost on my end, but I hope my review sheds light on their shady customer service. Pastries and breads are often not uniform in size. Pastries that come out smaller or torn, damaged still get selected to be sold to customers instead of seen as a quality defect and pulled. In comparison to premium bakeries in SF, Palo Alto, or even Los Gatos, this was disappointing. I would think it would be better to pull the one or two pastries in that tray. Heck, even Paris Baguette would pull whole trays if it didn't fit their quality standard. (But I don't know if that's still true haha.) Given its premium pricing of $8-15 a pastry, I would expect all the qualities that would justify it. They are a step above bakeries who have frozen products, but do not hit the level of premium in quality of pastry. The prices they had in the beginning were fair, but with the recent increase along with those issues, I'm sad to rate it lower.

Milk Belly Bakery is an Asian inspired bakery selling various forms of milk bread dishes, Asian…read moreinspired pastries, and other freshly made loaves. Ambiance: A very Japanese inspired decor upon entry with ambient lighting and tables with a mixture of booth / chair seating along the side. Music was not overly loud allowing for ability to do some work in the cafe. The kitchen is mainly open face allowing you to see the workers make fresh food and drinks to order. Service: The service was relatively quickly for a morning rush. They were also extremely friendly during the ordering and with pick up for to go orders. Wait time: Roughly 10-15 minutes from order to food being ready around 9:30ish time on a weekday. Food: The Hong Kong Milk toast had a smooth rich peanut buttery taste with sweetness from the condense milk and added cinnamon to give a depth of flavor. They also toasted the bread in butter to provide a slightly crunchy exterior with a fluffy interior. Corn Mochi / Pandan Mochi both had good flavors respectively with a nice mochi consistency to both of the desserts. Relatively small for the $5 price tag on both of them but would recommend if you like mochi consistency pastries. Overall, Milk Belly Bakery is a fun establishment offering a wide variety of Asian inspired food and drinks with friendly staff and a chill ambience. Would recommend if you are looking for a quick coffee or breakfast pastry before heading to work.

We've tried a few of their other dishes during this trip and on our last visit. I would definitely skip the bread pudding, though. It was way too dry, and I didn't get much of the yuzu or any real fruity tang. It was just a very slight hint. The smash sandwich was good, and the scone was decent, but I wouldn't go out of my way for either. It's self-service for utensils and water. The space is on the smaller side if you want to eat in. They have an open-kitchen concept, which gives the place a, almost like-you're-eating-in-someone's-home feeling.

Customers usually come in, grab what they need, pay, and head out, which keeps things moving smoothly. One of the best things about this bakery is the incredible variety of pastries and breads. Whether you're craving something sweet or savory, there's plenty to choose from: melon pan, loaf bread, dinner rolls, chow mein bread, spaghetti bread, sweet potato bread, crab and roe bread, tomato bread, apple pie, and so much more. Don't skip the refrigerated section either! They carry fruit sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, fried bread, donuts, somen noodles in a cup, and other delicious grab-and-go items. They also offer rice balls and drinks that can be ordered at the register. If you're in the area, definitely stop by and give them a try. Small businesses like this deserve our support!

Clover Bakery & Cafe is a small Japanese-style bakery and café that feels like the kind of…read moreneighborhood spot you randomly discover and keep coming back to. We walked into a cozy, compact space with shelves filled with freshly baked breads, pastries, and prepared foods, all arranged in a way that makes you want to browse slowly even though the shop is small. The atmosphere has that simple, welcoming feel reminiscent of the small bakeries you find throughout Japan, focusing more on quality and variety than on a large café setup. Seating is limited, so it is better suited for grabbing something to go rather than spending a long time inside. The biggest draw here is the combination of Japanese baked goods and savory items. The bakery selection offers a great mix of sweet and savory options, with classics like melon pan standing out for its crisp sugary topping and soft interior that stays light without being dry. The curry bread and croquette bread are also popular choices, both feeling comforting and freshly made rather than overly sweet or greasy. The bakery items are reasonably priced, which makes it easy to pick up multiple things without feeling like you are spending too much, and the variety means there is always something new to try. The onigiri selection is what really makes Clover stand out compared to a typical bakery. They offer a variety of rice balls with fillings like spicy tuna, tuna mayo, and unagi, making it a great option for a quick breakfast or light meal. The rice is well balanced and the fillings give each onigiri a different personality. The spicy tuna has a nice kick that comes through without overpowering the rice, while the unagi adds a sweeter, more savory flavor that works especially well with the slightly salty rice. The onigiri are a practical, satisfying choice for anyone looking for something more substantial than a pastry. Beyond the baked goods and onigiri, Clover also has drinks, sandwiches, and desserts including cakes and other pastries. The strawberry cake is a nice lighter dessert option, and the overall menu gives plenty of reasons to visit whether you are looking for breakfast, a snack, or something to bring home. The offerings feel thoughtfully selected, with enough variety to cover different cravings without making the menu feel scattered. Service is friendly and efficient, and the small size of the shop adds to the charm. Since it has become a popular local spot, some items can sell out during busy hours, so arriving earlier gives you the best selection. Parking can also be a little challenging during peak times, but the quick grab-and-go style makes the visit easy to manage. Clover Bakery & Cafe is a great stop for anyone who enjoys Japanese bakeries. The combination of fresh breads, affordable prices, and unique savory options like onigiri makes it feel different from a standard bakery. It is the type of place where it is worth picking up a few items and trying a mix of everything, leaving you with the sense that you have found a little neighborhood gem that delivers on both quality and variety.

Finding parking isn't difficult…read morebut might take a minute on busy days, as it shares a parking lot with the rest of a popular plaza. The store itself is easy to find as well, with a clear label outside. Walking in, it looks half-closed--their cakes are all stored in a large refrigerator, with nothing in the case on the counter. There is a sign proclaiming "takeout only" in slight disarray, and the seating is pushed to the side. That said, the service is friendly and the employees are quick to help you and show you what they have in stock for takeout. I ordered the 4" Berry Berry Light Cake for a birthday, and they were able to write a birthday message on the cake board, which I really appreciated. The cake also tasted very light and the sweetness was subtle, which I really enjoyed. The berry flavor in the sponge was a little too subtle, though. My main concern is that the cake does not fully resemble the picture they advertised online. It is missing the freeze-dried berries on top, and the berry glaze did not reach as far down the cake as was shown in the photo. Because the berry glaze is the main source of the berry flavor, this was a little disappointing. Also, the cake was not finished when I came to pick up the cake (and I was ~5 minutes late). I'm uncertain if this is for freshness or if there is another reason. Overall, I like the spot for the fresh and light cake. It's pleasantly unique compared to your standard sheet cake, and everything is rather cute. However, it may be a better idea to buy the cakes in-person to be 100% sure of what it will look like, though daily stock is definitely more limited than if you place an order online. I hope they reopen their indoor seating soon.
