WOW I love you, Paris Baquette! Your cakes are the best! Light, creamy, fluffy, perfect for my taste bud! Your Green tea cake, strawberry and banana roll cakes, and blueberry cream cake are among some of my favorites!! I love the plenty of pastries options here as well!!!! The cream puffs, Croissants, Crème Brûlée Buns, Mochi Doughnuts are absolutely delightful! Your Macaroons are so Great! Love the blueberries Pistachios, Strawberries, and chocolate Flavors! I cannot wait to try other cakes and bake goods items here, Paris Baquette!!!

Does this look like custard filling??? Nope! PB got cheap!
Dee J.

It's a fruit tart with custard, that's what's labeled. Been getting the fruit tarts for years and it was delish but why PB got cheap and increased the price, release it with whipped cream with no custard filling.

Ganache Cream Cake Piece

I ordered a chocolate ganache cream cake slice online for pick-up at this location. The cake slice was packed in a cute, handy box which I picked up from the cashier. The cake slice came with a raspberry macaron on top. This differed from the online photo and description which shows a chocolate macron on top. Regardless, the cake was delicious and fluffy while the ganache was rich and creamy. The macaron was also light and flavorful. Pro tip: sign up for PB rewards on the app/online -- I received this cake slice for free as a birthday reward! Paris Baguette cakes don't disappoint in terms of aesthetics, and they're usually tasty!

Cute bakery located in the Grand Century Plaza. Standard cakes, pastries, baked goods, etc. I've been here twice in the last 3 months to pick up birthday cakes. Their cakes are decorative but they also taste good -- not too sweet or too buttery. I appreciate how their desserts are offered in cake slices so if you're craving for something sweet, you can grab a little bit of everything and be on your merry way. They're not the least expensive bakery in the area but the quality makes up for the larger price tag.

My sister in law always buy birthday cake there for our birthday! Every cakes she bought were fresh and delicious! I recommend you try it.

Great place to get a cake last minute. They have some pretty cute cakes, but tbh most of them taste ok. Not bad or anything but not really my first choice for cakes.

Mayra D.

I love the cakes!!! They are not too sweet, and it keeps you wanting more. I love to reserve my cake for the day and time that I want it because sometimes they tend to run out of the one you want. I also love the different types of breads that this place has. I can't ever leave with just one thing. Depending on the time and day that you go, this place can be busy or empty. Since this place is at the century mall, parking may be hard to find.

I bought 4 pastry items. Ham and cheese, raspberry almond and chocolate croissant
Gillynn C.

I bought for pastry items. How much cheese, croissant, raspberry, almond, croissant , and chocolate croissant. Unfortunately, the trays were so sticky and I looked through multiple and they're all still sticky so I just used the tongs and the wax paper. When I got up to the front to pay, she said the trays are right there and I told them they're sticky and I said you should clean them and they said we clean them every day apparently not good enough so that's my only complaint. I do love their food but this particular one seems a little little bit below par.

One queue was for online orders (recommended by the bakehouse) and the other was manned by an attendant with a tablet and a printed menu. Parking wasn't a hassle this time as there were plenty of spots. Add the fact that we were now familiar with Vietnam Town. We got our usuals with choux (Kaya and Ube), Pandan-Coconut Milk Bread and Banh Bo (honeycomb cake). The mention worthy Guava filled Mochi Cake was so good! A yummy tip that elevates this baked good was when I toasted it (4 minutes) in an airfryer. The crunchy surface with the chewy mochi texture plus the sweet guava stuffing was the perfect ratio I was looking for in a dessert pastry. Can't wait to go back and have more of the guava filled goodness!

It was an odd combination of flavors. It wasn't burnt but tasted like it/bitter and heavy on the butter. I would come back for the bánh bò for sure though!

I wanted a custom cake to match my daughter's Minnie's Boutique theme with specific colors and design details, and she made the process incredibly easy. I reached out through Instagram, and she was very responsive, helpful, and had lots of flavor options to choose from. I shared an inspiration photo, and she recreated it beautifully while adding her own creative touch; it came out exactly how I envisioned. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted delicious. So many guests complimented the cake! Pricing was fair, pickup was smooth, and the packaging made it easy to transport and store before the party. It held up perfectly and was still fresh and delicious when served later. I would absolutely order from her again and can't wait to try more flavors. Highly recommend!

As a self-proclaimed cake snob, I have pretty high standards: I look for a cake that's moist,…read morespongy, not overly sweet, and has a little bit of denseness to it. Caitlyn's Sweets not only met all those marks but exceeded them! I typically order from Linda's Bakery, but they weren't able to accommodate my wedding. So, based on a recommendation from another picky friend, I decided to take a chance on Caitlyn's. It was a complete blind purchase, and I couldn't be happier with the results. For our wedding, I ordered a three-tier durian cake with a simple matte black finish (my florist handled the flowers). Everyone was thoroughly impressed, and to my slight dismay, there wasn't a single slice left; a true testament to how delicious it was! I recently ordered a durian sheet cake because I had a craving and were going to be hanging out with friends that love durian. This time, I didn't have any specific decoration requests, simply telling them I was ordering it "just to eat." Eventually, I decided on telling them I wanted it black; that's all. I really appreciate and enjoy their style of decorating as it's more modern and with the times than those old school generic fruit or flowers decor. The care they put into packaging was evident; the cake came in a very tall box, ensuring it arrived in perfect condition, especially since some decorations were sticking up. The friends I was with said it was better than the wedding cake, noting it was even more moist. Considering their durian cake from my wedding left me dreaming about it, this recent order was an incredible bonus. If you're looking for an authentic and delicious durian cake, I highly recommend Caitlyn's Sweets. It's so good, I'd literally drive from Reno to San Jose just to satisfy a craving!

I ordered their fresh sugarcane drink, and wow -- it was incredibly refreshing, perfectly balanced, and tasted so pure and natural. You could really tell it was made with real sugarcane; it was lightly sweet, crisp, and incredibly thirst-quenching. It paired beautifully with the desserts! Then came the star of the show: their macarons. These were easily some of the best I've ever had. The shells were perfectly crisp on the outside with that ideal chewy center, and the fillings were rich, flavorful, and not overly sweet. I tried a few different flavors and each one was a little masterpiece -- delicate, elegant, and bursting with taste. They practically melted in my mouth! The ambiance is cozy and inviting, the staff is super friendly, and everything feels made with so much care and passion. If you're looking for a charming spot to satisfy your cravings with high-quality sweets and refreshing drinks, **The Sweet Corner** is a must-visit. I'll definitely be back soon -- probably with friends next time so I can try even more! Highly recommend!

The decor feels…read morevery European--there's a large mural with Paris-style buildings and even the Eiffel Tower--but then you look at the menu and it's a mix of both European desserts and Asian chè-style options. It's an interesting blend that kind of works, even if it takes a second to figure out what the "theme" is supposed to be. They offer a wide range of desserts and drinks. On one side, you've got items like tartufo (chocolate, cappuccino, limoncello, pistachio), sorbets, and cheesecake slices in the display case. On the other side, they have traditional Vietnamese-style desserts like sweet soups (chè), grass jelly, black-eyed bean pudding, and combo desserts with things like cassava, jelly, and coconut. There's also a solid drink menu with milk teas, fruit teas, smoothies, and specialty coffees. I ordered the latte with matcha foam, and while I don't usually go for sweet drinks, this one was definitely on the sweeter side--but still really good. The matcha foam added a nice earthy balance to the coffee underneath. My friend got the three-color iced drink (the one with layered beans and jelly), and if you're into that texture and flavor profile, you'd probably enjoy it. The service stood out. The man helping us (possibly the owner) was very friendly, patient, and took the time to explain menu items, which I appreciated since some of the desserts aren't as familiar if you haven't had them before. The display case also looked well-stocked and clean, with everything neatly packaged and labeled, which made it easy to browse. Overall, it's a solid spot if you're in the area and want something a little different from the usual dessert shops. The only reason it's not a full 5 stars is because the concept feels slightly all over the place, but the quality, variety, and service definitely make it worth checking out.
