Reserved a bay for 10:30 am on Monday morning and stayed for 90 minutes! (Extended an extra 30 min since I was having fun). All the worker were friendly and service great. I had a lemon drop martini and chicken Caesar salad. The technology is so awesome. I was able to hit over 120 golf balls and have the computer screen rate my stride. Absolutely horrible service. I've been to several Top golf establishments over the years and this one is by far the worst one. Reservations are booked out weeks in advance and if you do get a reservation, be prepared to wait for a while when you arrive because they overbook and can't get their operations right. What's the point of having a reservation! Servers for the bays are nowhere to be found and when you do actually find them, you'll see they spend all of their time chatting and joking amongst themselves vs actually working. Food was brought out COLD, not even lukewarm. No plates, napkins, silverware. Had to go find my server for everything including refills and drink orders. We love topgolf we been to the one in Vegas. I took out one star coz the service here in El Segundo was a bit sub par. Took a while for our server to come by. 20-30 mins into checking in before anyone actually came by to get our drink order. Then our server same by maybe once. When we flagged down another server for some more drinks they didnt want to help coz it wasnt their table i guess. The managers was helpful. We didnt realize that when we booked our reservation they only allowed us to be on the assigned bay max 2hrs but the manager helped us moved to a new bay seamlessly. It was my boyfriend and my first time at TopGolf. When we entered, we went to the customer service desk told them it was our first time at TopGolf and asked where to pay. The ladies working told us to go upstairs to start play. When we went upstairs, we went to the 2nd and 3rd level, but no workers were there to guide us. We went back to the 2nd level bar, and the bartender told us we had to check in at the first level desk. We went back downstairs and when I asked the lady again, she said we needed to go upstairs. I told her we were told we needed to register here. She then stated if you don't have a reservation, I needed to provide her my phone number. She then told us to go upstairs to our bay. I asked again how do I pay with it being our first time and another worker answered with rude attitude, "you pay with your server!". We went to our bay and it wasn't until a couple of minutes later, Jose, who was very helpful throughtout our first time made it memorable and fun. Just came back from 2 hours at "top golf" El Segundo, and didn't get to golf. Had an reserved T Time and were there 1/2 hour before and notified them. At t Time they tell us another hour, we Waite another hour and nothing so we left. This top golf in el segundo has a reputation for doing this to its customers, customer service doesn't exist at top golf El segundo and I will not recommend it to my company, and the business in our office park . This was my first experience at Topgolf and it was a memorable one. I came with a large group and our hostesses were very attentive and friendly. We all had a blast and it was such a fun environment. Our group got the fajita buffet and it was alright, nothing spectacular. Although the small bites we ordered were fantastic. The BBQ chicken boneless wings were delicious as well as the mac and cheese bites. Also, the injectable donut holes were a hit. Overall, I would recommend Topgolf to anyone looking to celebrate a special occasion or with a large group, because it's a fun time. read more

I did have to wait a while because I came on the waitlist, the wait time online said 15 minutes but when we came in the ladies at the front desk told us 2 hours & 15 mins. Doing an update since we just finished our event! TopGolf exceeded my expectations! Frankly, I was worried because of the mixed reviews regarding service and wait times. However, the service was excellent! I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Our hosts, Nick and Josh, were very friendly, approachable, patient, and attentive. They continuously checked up on us throughout our event and were easy to find if we needed anything. I definitely recommend these two as bay hosts! We ordered our food and drinks 5 minutes after settling in and our order was brought out immediately after. Maybe 10 minutes later? Super quick service! We ordered the margherita flat bread, meatalian flat bread, mac n cheese bites, and some pitchers of beer. It's just typical finger food you'd expect from a bar - nothing amazing but I can't complain. If you had to pick a flat bread, I would recommend the margherita flatbread over the meatalian. The meat lover was just way too salty. We had a party of 13 guests and we paid $800 pre-tax, pre-tip. Everyone in our party had an amazing time! For most of us, it was our first time at TopGolf. Given the mixed reviews, I think that TopGolf can be a hit or miss based on various factors, such as your assigned hosts, wait time for food/bay, how busy the venue gets. I think the fact that our staff was attentive and we had made a party reservation way ahead of time (e.g., did not have to wait in line) made all the difference. Love playing at top golf, however todays visit would seriously make me second guess ever coming here again. I had a reservation for 1:30 pm for my son's 5th birthday. I called ahead of time to let them know. We would get there early and to ask if we would be given a bay since we would be early, and they assured me this would be fine as long as there are bays available. I show up at 12:45 with a happy birthday boy and am turned away by the 3 girls hanging out in front because of my reservation time. I point out the large number of bays and how I was reassured over the phone I would be given a bay, but they don't bat an eye. They blame the "system" for not being able to give me a bay. They don't even pretend to try and see what they can do, or attempt to talk to a manager. They totally take the wind out of our sails by making us wait 45 minutes for my birthday boy to be able to play angry birds. This has got to be some of the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Now I have 45 minutes to sit and wait for my bay. Not the Topgolf experience we were expecting. Service was the absolute worst. We had to flag staff down multiple times to check on orders that hadn't been received. Our friend didn't receive his beverage until our time was up even though we asked for it more than three times in a span of an hour. They completely forgot one of our food items, brought it out with less then ten minutes to spare and then proceeded to clean up and kick us out of the bay. Also, we got a range of unprofessional attitudes, cocky and talking back when we weren't at fault. This Topgolf had so much potential, unfortunately their staffing is horrible. This is the 2nd time I've ever been to a Topgolf.. first time was in Vegas years ago and all I could remember was that it was like being at a club while hitting golf balls since the music was so loud haha. I attended with some coworkers and we had a really good time chatting and bonding. The golfers loved the games, especially Angry Birds haha. Our servers were really kind, helpful, and attentive throughout the night. We went here to celebrate two of my friend's birthdays and had a great time until the end. As we finished paying, taking a group photo and were about to head out, a lead/manager decided to start harassing us to leave. One of our friends did have a bit much to drink, but was not disturbing anyone, was able to walk on her own, and needed to use the restroom. The lead then proceeded to rudely tell us that "we were done" and we needed to leave right away. (Which we were already doing as we had already paid and were about to head out) No other staff had mentioned anything to us the whole night until this moment. Had they waited 5-10 minutes we would have been out of their hair. I completely understand the liability of having intoxicated individuals on premise especially with swinging clubs, heights, and stairs but this was not the way to handle it, especially if they are not causing any disturbance to others. Even clubs and bars handle these situations better. Having over 7 years of health and safety experience, I can say without a doubt that the staff here definitely needs updated training or policies on handling intoxicated individuals in a cordial manner. Forcing individuals to leave without making sure they are okay can be out right dangerous. This definitely ruined the night. read more

This was an ideal location for our corporate off-site, but could probably get a bit pricey for a smaller group. Throughout our planning process, the events manager Sarah was consistently helpful, efficient, & accommodating despite our many changes in number of attendees, budget and dates. After the event wrapped up, it was clear the staff needed to clean up and turn over all the tables and bays for the next large event. The incredible Alexis R. went above and beyond in terms of hospitality to take care of us (the event planners) despite the fact we were encroaching into the (super attentive & efficient) staff's clean up/ turn over schedule. It meant a lot to have a calm moment with the planning team post-event, and I really appreciate Alexis R. for making sure we got to decompress on the patio. This location / staff / parking sitch & golfing bays here are top notch. Possibly the best large party / office event venue in the South Bay. We'll be back! read more

Update: Hugh, you obviously did not read my review before posting your reply. We DID make a reservation, through the Top Golf app, paying the $30 reservation fee, a WEEK ago (paying $180 for 2 hours at the bay). When I asked to move to a bay that had a couch, where it would be easier to care for my 4 month old baby, I was told we would have to give up the bay that we had reserved and join the waitlist. And we would not be refunded the reservation fee because we reserved "through a 3rd party." Not sure how the TOP GOLF app is a 3rd party? Wish I could give this location 0 stars. We made reservations a week in advance and were placed at a bay with a high top table. I asked to be moved to a bay with a couch as I have a 4 month old baby and was told we would have to be removed from our bay and put on the 2-3 hour waitlist, and that the $30 we spent for three reservation would not be refunded. How does it make sense that people who did not pay for a reservation would have priority to bays with couches before we did? Super disappointed in the customer service. I had a terrible experience, I went to celebrate my birthday here & what I got in exchange was harassment and threats by the parking security! Me & my boyfriend were walking in when we seen a metal detector, we walked back in the car because we had a box cutter on a keychain. When we returned we were aggressively stopped by "security" talking to us VERY disrespectful, my boyfriend got harassed by this security making him take out everything in his backpack to the point where he made him put it on the floor AFTER he searched it claiming he was the "top management security". Decided to come here without reservations and knew we would have to wait some time to get a bay, when we arrived around 6 on a Friday night they said it would take about 3 hours and they would text us when our bay was ready. We were fine with the wait so we decided to go grab drinks and food at the bar. We first ordered a tequila on the rocks and a tequila with pineapple juice, the drinks were very watered down. Then we ordered a few speciality cocktails, the spicy margarita they had and when we all took a sip it tasted very watered down and not good. We decided to send our drinks back and just order a couple pitchers of beer. Which you can not go wrong with that. The food we decided to try a bit of everything, we ordered the appetizer nachos which was good but only came with literally 7 pieces of nachos... the salami pizza was good. The boneless chicken wings was very spicy we got the buffalo sauce and the burger was over cooked. Overall I would not recommend cocktails or food here. Would rather eat or go down the street then come visit this place. There was plenty of parking we had no problem with that and the place was very cool. I've been to topgolf many times and i am always satisfied with my service but yesterday was the worst I experienced. At first, everything was ok with our service. It was a black guy then after a few minutes they changed to a latina woman then like after an our of our play they changed to a black woman service crew. I don't know how many times crew will changed per table for 2hrs game time but it was really not good with changing crews we had. I appreciate though that they let us know that we will have a new server but it's unusual. I am with my nieces and nephew and we are asian. I reserved that table days before. The table next to us was also a family of asian. What really upset me was the last crew who served us gave our bill without saying anything. Then I just gave the card quickly since she was waiting and I had no time to review my bill but i was so surprised that it was $400+ for 2hrs game and 4 players and we order food that was just reasonable amount. So when she gave me my paid bill, that was the time i checked and I knew there was a mistake and it was because she charged me and the next table beside us. I approached her and she was insisting that it's because that's for the 2 tables. I said we're only in 1 table and we dont know the other table is. IN SHORT, SHE ASSUMED since we're both asians, all of us were in 1 group. I don't appreciate it and disrespectful and racist. The name in the tab as server was JORDAO and cashier was CARLOS. So many bad reviews, I don't get it. This place is a ton of fun. The food is mediocre, but you get people serving you pitchers of beer while you get to hit golf balls and play fun games with your friends. What's better than that? Yes, it's a little pricey, but they regularly run promos where you can buy credit at a discount or gift cards at Costco or whatever to make it a little less pricey. My only tip for improvement would be that they should let you not just make a reservation, but reserve a specific spot/floor. So I had the most fun here last night, It was my first time playing so I really didn't know what to expect. First they have 3 floors you can play on the first level is the main floor where they have a giant tv at least 300 inches and a place where you can buy things coffee mugs, golfing equipment, etc, you have to wait to receive a text message to tell you what bay to report to once you get the text you head to the bay. They have tv's for each bay you can control, heating lamps for night time, and the servers bring you your food, our server messed up our order so he took some stuff off our bill the food is basically burgers and wings. It can get a little pricey especially Friday and Saturday nights for 2 people we played for a hour and it was $150 with a 10% discount for first responders and healthcare workers, overall it was a fun night but I will have to go again because I was playing with a walking boot on and you need to balance to get your full balance and strength to hit the ball but I think I did pretty good for a person that never picked up a golf club before. The reason why you go to top golf is to have fun. This was the most fun I have had in a while before going on a flight. I had two fractured wrists and I could still play with them on. I'm allowed to play with the casts on and with the new driver that they made it was so easy to play. The food was really good and came out really fast. The selection of games that you could play was also really good. The bays where you hit from were very nice with couches everywhere and a huge table. With TV's everywhere to see what was happing and the system to get the golf balls and the high tech tracker. I am not from California but this was an amazing experience. read more
