Nachos

This is the perfect place for a solo or double date. It's all indoors so you can golf rain or shine. We went on a Saturday and decided we wanted to delay our golfing experience to have a few drinks and eat some food. The process to update our timing was really easy. I really enjoyed the wings and the elote ribs but I would skip out on the nachos. When we did start golfing I was really impressed with the setup and the number of courses. We played every course and I thought they were all very creative and fun. It was also nice because servers would come to you to take your drink orders and deliver them right to you. Two floors of fun, a great DJ playing pop, hip hop, and some r&b, and a nice mixed crowd. Very fun and a good way to break the ice if you're on your first date. I'll definitely be back!

Who doesn't love a good date night! Came with the girlfriend for some drinks and mini golf. Couldn't have been more happy! This place appears super packed (Friday night) but it moves quickly and there are multiple courses so it really isn't bad. The place is clean! The bar is organized. And there is security who checks ID and bags before you enter. Gives a peace of mind considering many people enjoy drinks while playing mini golf. The drinks we had from the bar were good! The bar tender was also able to make some drinks not specifically on the menu. I haven't had such a fun mini golf experience until I came here. I can't wait to go back! I did not have any of their food options here so I can't touch in on that, but i will next time.

Holey Moley is an indoor miniature golf and putt-putt venue with multiple locations in California (The Third Street Promenade, Irvine Spectrum, and San Francisco), Colorado, and Texas. This is basically mini-golf made for adults as the venue also includes a karaoke room and a full-service bar. [Parking]: Plenty of free public parking structures in Santa Monica and I parked at the Parking Structure 4. First 90 minutes = free and $2 up to 2 hours. [Entry]: The venue is located on the Third Street Promenade. Beginning at 8 PM each night, all guests entering the venue must be over the age of 21 and have a valid ID. [Courses]: There are three 9-hole courses with two courses on the 3rd floor and one course on the 2nd floor. [Price]: Monday - Thursday for one course (9 holes) per person = $14, 18 Holes = $22, and 27 Holes = $26. For Karaoke, Monday - Thursday = $80 per hour. I asked the staff about special offers and apparently there was a spring break special - $20 per person for unlimited rounds. [Drinks]: Happy Hour is available from Monday to Friday from 2 PM to 5 PM. $4 = Well Spirits, $4 = Beer Cans, $9 = Cocktails, and $2 off all taps. [Atmosphere]: The venue was playing a 2000s music selection and there was an Instagrammable patio on the 3rd level. Honestly, the experience would feel like a letdown if I didn't play all three courses as each 9-hole course has only one or two really unique obstacle highlights. Our party was able to complete all three courses from 8:45 PM to 10 PM. [Conclusion]: This spot is designed as a perfect date spot since (1) guests must be 21+ after 8 PM so there are no distractions from children, (2) couples can walk around and eat at the Third Street Promenade before coming here, and (3) the prices are reasonable for an easy 90-minute interactive activity. Personally, this is a one-and-done activity if I am just here by myself, but I can easily see myself coming back multiple times if I am going on additional second or third dates.

Josh & Elvis were the best at helping us throughout the night! Forsure recommend coming we had so much fun!

A fun indoor mini-golf spot that made for an atypical & highly entertaining weeknight date night. There are 3 or 4 different courses. But the most unexpected hit of the evening was the EXTREMELY generous pours in tasty cocktails at the bar...served up in super "grammable" ways. Pro tip: if you order the bathtub cocktail, you get to keep the rubber ducky!

I was excited to take my wife here for some fun before our V-Day dinner and for the most part it was a good experience. While the courses are small the holes are very unique and present different challenges than other courses we've played. We did enjoy the courses and checking out the holes. We started with a quick bite, the sweet potato fries and pretzel bites were really tasty and the server was very friendly and quick so everything went well. The reasons for a few star deductions -It is a small space so with a lot of people there it felt pretty cramped at times. -The rules are posted all over the place but no one enforces them. At one point we got behind a large group playing very slowly and they wouldn't let us play through, part of the group would just advance to the next hole while the other part finished the previous, it was a little frustrating. -Another group had 3 younger kids and did nothing to control them. They were running around the course from hole to hole, hitting their balls randomly, throwing their balls into holes, ect making it hard to play especially when they ran across a hole you were actively playing. -Several of the holes with moving parts were broken and didn't move, it took away a little bit not having that extra challenge and ambiance. It was a good experienced, we'd like to go back when it's not so busy and get another feel for it all.

If you're looking for a fun activity with friends, family, or significant other, go to Holey Moley for some fun mini golf competition! We did the highest amount of holes (27) and had an absolute blast. We took roughly 2.5 hours to play. No one really checked how long you're there for even though when you book the reservation, it says the max amount of time is 1.15 hours. We all enjoyed the different kinds of themes they had! The only thing we wished was a bigger space as when he it gets crowded or even with a group of 5, it seemed too cramped.

I know this place opened up a while ago, but it was my first time visiting! It was a really cool concept, but it was definitely super chaotic. I don't know if it's because it was the weekend, or they were just really busy. Either way, they don't really provide much instructions and a lot of the people were very confused and wait times initially were pretty long. Also, it seemed like some groups had servers regularly going up to them, but others (like ours) were kind of ignored. I didn't get to try any of the food, but it the drinks all looked amazing! I also heard they have deals on the weekdays (except Friday) after 6pm, so I would definitely recommend trying it on one of those days if you can. This also seems like it would be a really cool spot for a company outing or some sort of group/birthday event on a non-busy day/time. I'm glad I tried it, but I don't know if I would come back unless it was one of the scenarios that I described above. Overall: 3.5/5

What a fun date idea! My boyfriend and I love mini golf and saw that this place has fun and unique holes. We decided to do all 3 rounds (yellow was our favorite). It is a bit pricey but it is fun. The staff were really friendly to us, explained how everything worked and even checked in on us during the mini golf. We didn't get a drink at the bar, only water but it comes in a cute "solo" cup. We ordered sweet potato fries which were fine. The only thing I would say is I had an impression that the holes were going to be like chain reactions but they mostly just cool looking holes. Definitely recommend!

An amazing spot to swing by for drinks and some mini golf. First time here and wanted to check it out to see what the hoopla was about. I love a good spot of mini golf, and even more love that you can drink while mini golfing. This isn't very common and do appreciate the adults only after 8 pm. The drinks are pretty decent for the price, and the best part you get to keep some the cups, which could be a bath tub or a unicorn for example. The music is great with the live dj bumping great tunes. The service is great from the bar - they really take care of you. Only reason this isn't a five stars is the fact that the mini golf area is tiny for 9 holes and you spend up waiting more often than not for others. You'll spend at most 30 minutes because of lines.

Came here with the lady and we loved it. Atmosphere was super cool, full bar and food was fantastic. I'd recommend because it was also very affordable.

Such a fun experience! Holey Moley has some of the most creative and impressive mini-golf obstacles I've ever seen. One hole had a full money-blowing machine, another recreated Van Gogh's bedroom, and another was a skate ramp. Every course felt like its own little set piece. The food and drinks were great, and the service was surprisingly quick given how busy it was. It was crowded, but honestly that just added to the energy. The music was also really fun. I'll definitely be coming back!

How is parking?

There are parking structures all over 3rd St Promenade. I would recommend City of Santa Monica Parking Structure 1. I believe first 90 minutes are free.

Greeted by our very kind waiter, we were served the most delicious toasted bread, butter(s) and rock salt from La Boulangerie. As a film nut, of course I ordered the Cinema Paradiso, this is a very imaginative cocktail recipe, like a an Old Fashioned but with a movie theater twist, kindly served with a pinch of candy kettle-corn at our table by the mixologist herself; what a playful and tasty delight! For starters, we are ordered the Mini-French-Onion Grilled Cheese and Hamachi Crudo. Both absolutely delicious. The Hamachi Crudo Leche de Tigre sauce is beyond perfect. The balance of flavors between charriness of the bread and melted cheeses, and tangy onion soup dip...just wow. Then the steak! Accompanied by a delicious Châteauneuf-du-Pape, we shared between two, a perfectly cooked (medium rare of course, don't be basic) N.Y. Strip (au poivre sauce on the side) with au gratin, and it came with nice little on the vine roasted tomatoes and a little leafy salad...like I told Chef when he came to our table post meal: "INCROYABLE!". Every-Single-Bite!! But, aside every dish being perfect and the service being above and beyond, what literally brought me to tears was the dessert. I haven't had "floating islands" since my mom used to make it many, many moons ago (unfortunately ma is now at early dementia), and when I tasted my first spoonful here, I couldn't hold back the tears, memories flooded and complimented by the preceding meal which was perfect...too many feels. Merci Beaucoup! For a VERY special culinary experience to all at La Monique. Please don't change a thing. I rarely ever make the effort to write a review, but this is very much worth every second. We'll be coming back for sure. Feel like I just discovered fire.

This is completely unacceptable and feels like fraud. To make things worse, the food was completely average -- nothing special at all and definitely not worth the prices they charge. I've never experienced anything like this, even at the most basic places. This is beyond unprofessional and extremely disappointing. I would strongly advise others to double-check their receipts and statements after visiting this restaurant.

All dishes are carefully crafted with its colorful details, and its simple but bold flavors prepared for you through an open kitchen. This place gets busy the minute they open their doors so make reservations prior. 1. Korean Aguachile: fresh tilefish sashimi with finely sliced cucumber and white floral decor simmered in ice cold kimchee broth they pour at the table. Soooo good. Must order. 2. Soy Marinade Blue Prawn: My favorite dish of the night. Huge raw blue prawns (head attached) marinaded with soy sauce. Served with barley rice topped with Ssam jang (type of bean paste sauce), and seaweed paper. You wrap all ingredients in the seaweed paper to make a hand roll. Soooooo delicious. Can't walk out without trying this. 3. Beef short ribs: good but nothing unique in its flavoring . Beef steak(medium rare and super tender) that's lightly marinaded/glazed (so not overly sweet) with kbbq/short rib sauce. This is one of their fan favorites so I suggest you try it.. 4. Chilled Acorn Noodles: chewy cOLD noodles made with acorn (just like the acorn jelly side dish we eat). The noodles are seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu-jang (Gochujang paste), crispy cucumber slices, loads of dried seaweed flakes, and perilla oil. And you just mix them all together. Sooo good and paired well with the short ribs. Incredible. 5. Bluefin tuna and trout Bibimbop: like a poke bowl but so much better. Rice at the bottom with loads of lettuce strips, bluefin tuna sashimi, radish slices, and cavier. Seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu jang (Gochujang paste with a twist of vinegar). Very good as well. For drinks we tried the shikhye slush (shikhye is a Korean sweet rice drink dessert). They used a slushy shikhye base with warm cinnamon and ginger spices and pisco for a kick. Also tried the Sujinggwa manhattan which is sujunggwa (traditional Korean cinnamon ginger dessert tea served cold) and a single malt. This was fabulous. Overall fantastic experience. Fantastic food, cool ambiance's. And great service. Highly highly recommend this place!

Tables looked available around 5pm though so walk-ins could be possible. Ambiance: Outside was nice and inside looked dimly lit and romantic. We were seated promptly and service was good. Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.

But what really stood out was the hospitality. We were celebrating our Anniversary and Valentine's Day, and I had arranged to have flowers delivered to the restaurant earlier in the day so they'd be waiting on the table as a surprise for my wife. The staff was kind enough to accommodate the request and have them set up before we arrived. Unfortunately, the delivery driver accidentally dropped the flowers off at the other Hermanito location on Sawtelle! I assumed the surprise was ruined. Then the hostess came up to me and said, "Don't worry... our manager is driving over there now to pick them up and bring them back." I couldn't believe it. The beauty of Mediterranean food is that it's perfect to share with large groups. Because I had some fellow vegetarians (and veg friendly people) with me, ordering was quite fun. Sprouted cauliflower: interesting way they made it. Golden tahini had a nice touch. Pickled vegetables: loved them Greek fries: can't go wrong with that Roasted sweet potato: surprisingly quite good and a very different palate from the fries. Baked feta: interesting, but this wasn't a fan favorite amongst the group. While our non-vegetarian colleagues enjoyed the octopus, we were nearly full with just the mezze. We decided to go ahead and order the mushroom skewers while the other side enjoyed the tomahawk. Everyone was full after all this food. The cocktails kept flowing. I stuck with just one Urfa mezcalita while enjoying the views for the remainder of the night. This lasted until dessert where plenty were ordered. I got a chocolate gelato not realizing I'd get two scoops. Sadly I could only finish one scoop. Anyhow, there are heaters all over the rooftop so that people can enjoy throughout the year.
