Located on the Boardwalk at Rose Ave. There is plenty of parking and it's reasonable!! Perfect for a Sunday, they have televisions with the football games and very cool music playing in the background. The chicken was tender and really juicy. The waffles were soft and had powdered sugar nice! The Bloody Mary was ok, not a lot of vodka taste. Although the mix was tasty just not no bite.. So from entering into this place, greeted and seated, the staff were exceptionally professional and pleasant. Everything was brought out right away, tasted famously and I was wanting for nothing! Everyone here is accommodating and welcoming. If your in Venice, give this place a shot Oh BTW Behind the bar They have games, a ping pong table and corn toss. Great for kids or and afternoon battle with friends or a date!

Super great service, really cute place and nice vibe. The food is pretty standard but good.

The Waterfront Venice is a tricky one to rate because while I enjoy going here both for the food/drinks & the good vibes....it undeniably has VERY bad service. We stop by The Waterfront often to grab a drink or two and hang out during the weekend, but they also have some really great food options available. We've tried a few of them here and there over time, and I found most of them to be truly delicious, generously portioned, and reasonably priced! On a recent visit, for example, we got their Ceviche and the 6 Piece Fried Chicken Bucket. Both of them were SO yummy and the big pieces of chicken that literally came in a KFC-style bucket left us with extra to bring home as leftovers. Back to the service, however.....the whole time we were trying to dine and enjoy our food, servers kept coming over and asking if either we had been seated by a host or if we had paid yet or not....MULTIPLE TIMES. It was a definite detraction from trying to enjoy eating there....communication lines definitely need to be smoothed out. Also, the service just in general was off-putting and rude, with the waitress seeming very short tempered and irritable with us while taking our order initially. And if you're coming here just for a drink or two, GOOD LUCK getting the attention of the bartenders. They'll literally stand around either on their phone or chatting/flirting with some girls while there's a WHOLE LINE of people trying to order drinks. There's often DJ's or bands here for live music during the weekends, which I enjoy going to sometimes..just keep in mind that it gets QUITE packed, which also makes it even harder to order from the very slow service here. Overall, The Waterfront is a fun spot to hang out at with solid, generously portioned food. Some people love it, while others likely feel the opposite!

We had a table in the back for our group of eight, which worked out nicely. We started with drinks all around. My choice was the spicy margarita. It was fine, but nothing particularly memorable. For appetizers, we ordered the nachos and tater tots. The nachos were excellent a generous spread with plenty of toppings and dressings, well-balanced and flavorful. For my main, I went with the Venice Bowl with shrimp, and it was the highlight of my meal. The shrimp were cooked perfectly, and the mix of sauce, fresh vegetables, rice, and avocado made for a delicious, well-rounded dish. Overall, it was a good experience. While I'm not sure when I'll be back, the food especially the nachos and Venice Bowl left a positive impression.

The Waterfront is a nice, almost hidden in restaurant on Venice Boardwalk. Their decor is cute and there's games/activities, a nice bar, and fans all over the place - so the breeze was super nice! Waitstaff were friendly, but a bit slow with coming back and checking in. We would have order more food and drinks had they checked on us again. The bathrooms are camp-style... Hot bathrooms, doors are hard to lock, foot pump to "flush", but...they work! Lol Parking for the beach (closest to the restaurant) can be confusing. If you're in the back alley roads where the GPS takes you then: valet is in the back of the restaurant $15 (w/ validation), but the block directly past that, you make a right and that takes you to the entrance to the beach parking lot. The food was good! I got the fish n chips and it was fresh. The fries were good and their tarter was awesome. I also liked the margarita. I'd go back to try more. It seems flustering if it's your 1st visit and you're not already walking the pier, but once you've been, the whole process will be easier.

Been here several times before but when I came here last on Sunday during brunch time, it was pretty shocking and depressing how dead it was. But I guess that is the state of the economy now. Once upon a time, this place used to be so fun and lively, but now, at 1:30 pm on a Sunday, it was literally just me and my bf sitting in that entire outside nice area until another party arrived. The food was okay - nothing to rave about. Service was decent. Felt a bit of a waste of our Sunday funday :(

I see what other reviews say about this feeling like a frat house that's a bar lol but thankfully they do have seating away from the crowded bar area. My friend and I came during happy hour and ordered the happy hour bubbly wine and rose. Our amazing server brought both happy hour drinks out at the same time which was great. I also ordered the tots loaded in size small and they were yummy! Good spot along the beach and nice happy hour deals

This was a cute little waterfront restaurant with a view of the beach. We were there around 3pm for happy hour. During happy hour, margaritas are buy 1 get 1 free, so they automatically deliver two to your table if you order one. I also had their Ceasar salad with added avocado. They didn't skimp on the added avocado which was great. The croutons on the salad were great, but the dressing wasn't very flavorful or plentiful. We also had the appetizer with chips, salsa, and guacamole, which was flavorful and very tasty. Our server was a bit flat in her personality, and she became a bit hard to find despite the patio not being that big.

Pretty limited selection of food and cocktails. They don't shake any cocktails on site so you get what you get. They kicked us out of our table for a "time limit" for the "busy holiday weekend..." i could understand that if it were a packed full house, but there was barely anyone in there. The food was ok, just fairly skimpy for the cost but it did taste good despite not being what In ordered - i wanted a medium rare steak with eggs over easy. I got a rare steak and eggs over hard.. The service was otherwise decent. I don't think I'll be b

This is an awesome restaurant right off the Venice beachfront, offering a beautiful beach vibe with enough privacy from the occasional craziness of Venice Beach. We came here for a boozy lunch and enjoyed a few of their brewed Mexican lagers, which were very tasty. We also shared some food options, starting with the chips and guacamole, which were great. For our mains, we split a burrito, which was an excellent choice because it's huge! The picture I took doesn't do it justice; each half looked like its own Chipotle-sized burrito. It was delicious. We also ordered the street corn, a favorite of ours as well. My only knock against this place is the small details. For example... The street corn 'esquites' didn't mention that it comes with raw white onions, which weren't very appetizing , so we tried our best to pick them out. Additionally, the restaurant doesn't have its own salsa, so they brought us canned salsa (which they informed us of), and it wasn't great. If you're a Mexican food purist looking for chips with salsa as a starter, you might want to reconsider. However, this didn't hinder our experience at all because the guacamole was fantastic!

Food was great! We also liked the space. The service started out great, but we were soon forgotten about and the manager had to tell our server to come back to our table so we could pay.

I was so excited to try the waterfront after hearing great experiences from friends and left with a less than satisfactory experience. I'm not sure if we came on the wrong day but we showed up at 5pm for their happy hour on a Friday evening, which would typically be one of the busiest days of any restaurant on the beach. We showed up only to find out that the sign had a sticky note over it that said happy hour ended at 5pm?! Even though their instagram had a pinned post that said it ended at 6pm and their website said 7pm. Clearly many mistakes already. I let them know we had a reservation for 5 people and he seated us at a table for 3. After clarifying others were coming, despite having also mentioned the reservation name, He then moved us to a table for 5 and said he'd honor the happy hour due to their mistake so we ordered quickly. We really appreciated how kind he was to do that until we found out the kitchen was closing at 5pm too which made no sense as it's a restaurant and should've been staying open until 9. So our friends who showed up a little late did not get to eat and we all were rushed to order upon sitting down. The happy hour menu was also limited to a few canned drinks and no food. The drinks were handed to us as cans with no glasses and we were not checked on throughout the time we spent here. I ended up having to go to the counter to ask for the check which was bizarre and the lady did not know what tab we were on. The restaurant was dead and it seemed they were pushing everyone out even though it was dinner time. Vibes were not good and the outdoor beer garden we wanted to sit in and other outdoor area was closed so we did not get to see the entirety of what was a beautiful restaurant. We couldn't get any food and overall it was very off with the service, drinks and lack of happy hour despite their online sources saying it was on. My friends say it's typically better on other days and is better for day drinking but I was shocked at how bad our experience was on a beautiful Friday evening. I would love to come back and try again but I will admit this experience was relatively off putting and disappointing. It's very hard to find a parking spot as well but not their fault just the area. Overall I left pretty bummer as the whole experience put a damper on our happy hour and we didn't get to enjoy being at the waterfront as we had hoped.

Bottomless classic margarita's for $40!

The work was tedious, the people often annoying, but the learning real. And I would duck out to grab a burrito at TPF at lunch because the walk there and back was almost meditative. TPF speaks to an earlier version of Santa Monica, before Silicon Beach happened. When Dogtown was still in transition, the commercial and industrial spaces still plentiful, and the creativity flowed. I usually get a chicken burrito. It's great. The space hasn't changed. And is never crowded. But you see people popping in, and you can tell that maybe they were having a slow day at home, and that a little homestyle Mexican comfort food is part of their ritual. Their salsas are incredible and I've never tasted similar ones elsewhere. If you're looking for a simple, satisfying, no-frills Mexican experience, this is it.

I like onions as much as the next guy but I feel like they think I'm Stanley Yelnats from Holes when I go here. Absolute onion bomb in a tortilla. I don't get it.

They'd been open maybe an hour and there was one other person there picking up an order. First time here. The guy at the counter was very friendly, asked if I knew what I wanted, and I told him no and asked what's popular. He recommended three tacos so I went with that. He never asked about tortillas so they came out on corn. I'm not the biggest fan of corn tortillas, but after I sat down, I looked at the soda cup, and saw "handmade corn AND flour tortillas." Would've gone flour if I'd known that was even an option. My bad for not asking, but also a great opportunity to let a new customer know it's an option. Food came out fast. Three tacos, chips, a couple sides of salsa. All the meat was cold. Not fridge cold, but noticeably below room temperature. I'm sitting five feet from the kitchen in a place that opened 30 minutes ago. How is that even possible? The non-beef tacos were seasoned well, both of them, that part was fine. The beef was where it fell apart. Every single bite had pieces I literally couldn't chew through, and I kept pulling chunks out of my mouth. After my second bite I just stopped going back for more. For over $4 a taco, that quality is atrocious. Very fast if you need something quick to eat. First and last time for me.
