Plentiful, memorable flavorful & you can't just eat one... You'll keep craving more, which we all did! I highly recommend! Miso Maple Salad | Shared | I selected this salad, it was unique, has quite the bite to it, and I enjoyed it! I would order again! Includes crispy, quinoa, heart of palm, jicama, avocado, snow peas, gem lettuce, and miso maple! Garlic Butter Noodles | Shared | What a favorable combo! I would easily order again! Belle's should be prepared for busy Sundays, especially when advertising World Cup games on the patio. Instead, the whole operation felt disorganized. When we arrived, the entrance was constantly blocked by the hostess and security chatting. One staff member told me to head to the bar to order, but security then acted like I was doing something wrong. A little communication between staff would go a long way. At the bar, I was skipped twice while waiting to order. When I pointed it out, the bartender told me to "hold on" while assisting a 3rd walk up after me. I asked if we could move to an open table with table service as there were many empty for ghe hour we had already been there and was told no because they were too busy. Fair enough, but that's exactly when management should be visible, coordinating staff and helping guests. Instead, when I spoke with a manager, the response was essentially that he was focused on the bar area. Good management oversees the entire operation, especially during peak periods. I was one of 5 people in our party who spent around $100 on food and drinks (apx $500 spent in total), yet the service was a mess. If it's self-service, that's fine...but make it clear and make it work. Instead, I was skipped at the bar while ordering, staff gave conflicting directions, and there was virtually no support once we had our food. We found ourselves constantly going back and forth to the bar for drinks, utensils, soy sauce, and anything else we needed. No one checked in, and getting help from staff or management was nearly impossible. The food was decent, but the customer experience wasn't. Venice Beach is always busy. This shouldn't come as a surprise. If you're going to market yourself as part of that vibrant community, you need the operational standards to match. read more

The vibes here were great! We went on a Sunday for brunch, and the crowd was loud and vibing for the world cup. They had a big set up outside in their patio with the games playing. The place itself was very tropical, and picturesque! We didn't have a reservation, and the hostess told us it would be a 45 minute wait, but luckily we were seated within 20 mins. I don't know how much Parking usually is, but the parking was out of control that day. We paid $45 to park down the street. The food was all VERY delicious. I would say the portion size is on the smaller end. I only had a party of 3, so it worked out for us. We shared a few apps, Spicy Tuna Sticky Rice, Cold Edamame, Teriyaki Burger, Fries, Chicken bites and the poke bowl. We ordered the salmon skewers, rice, fries, teriyaki burger, banana espresso martini, and the matcha martini. The salmon wasn't fully cooked in my opinion and could have been grilled or seared a bit longer. The rice and burger were just okay, nothing particularly memorable. Very solid sushi rolls (although both were on the small side), but definitely not "wow" in terms of taste. The service was the key let-down and the reason for a 4-star (vs. 5-star) review. Decided to take the boys to Venice beach for the first time and ended up grabbing lunch at Belles Beach House. First off there is a parking lot right across the street but if you want to stay for more than 3 hours, you're paying $35. Once we arrived we were seated outside on the patio and the area was nice and clean and it has like this tiki vibe to it. Our waitress was quick to take our order and gave some good suggestions on food. I decided on the kushi-yaki ponzu king salmon, the rock shrimp and some fries. I also went with the marine layer and everything was solid! I will say that their portions are small and the burger is also pretty small. My 6 year old son ordered a burger and it's was the perfect size for him. Oddly, I thought my oldest son's chicken nuggets was the highlight of everything. The chicken was nice and tender. Overall, it was really good and I would recommend it if you are in Venice. Also, note that everything is à la cart so French fries do not come with the sandwiches.
