While looking for spots before leaving town, my friend mentioned belles since I was looking for a beachy vibe spot, and belles was the perfect choice. The interior decor is light and feels like a beach vacation. The espresso martini options were amazing, my friends and I split the flight and they were all great. For food, we started with the bao buns and bang bang shrimp and they were delicious, and for the main, the poke bowl was also fresh and tasty. Service was friendly and flexible and our waitress offered great options to try while we waiting on our other friend to join us
The ambiance is beautiful and chill. The service was great - extra bonus points for being dog friendly and having a superb DJ! Food was good - we ordered a bunch of items to share. Huge fan of the garlic butter noodles, pork bao, and rock shrimp. The salmon skewers was meh. The lychee spritzers are a must on a beautiful sunny day at the "beach". Parking is typical Venice - hard to find and steep parking fees.
I recently attended a happy hour at Belle's Beach House. My company was given a private space on the patio. The space was lovely. Belle's is located right on Venice Beach, which made al fresco dining very nice. We had a private bar as well as an array of appetizers. The servers and bartenders were very nice and accommodating. A group of us had the Marine Layer cocktail upon their recommendation. This cocktail was summery and tropical with heavy Japanese influence. The base was tequila. Yuzu and passionfruit provided sweetness and tang while elements such as mitsuba, chili, and lava salt added umami and contrast. Other drinks I enjoyed included their Mai Tai and Watermelon Margarita. I really liked the marg with Mezcal. The lychee spritz was also good. It was the most wine-forward lychee spritz I've ever had, but it was still very nice. The appetizers were delicious. I really liked the crispy rock shrimp, spicy tuna crispy rice, and yakitori skewers. The avocado toast needed a hearty sprinkle of salt and pepper, but other than that, the food was great. I had a wonderful time at Belle's Beach House. I would love to come back to try more cocktails and small bites.
Cute atmosphere, parking is atrocious. Good happy hour menu, they recommended the chicken nuggets but they were kind of bland and chewy with not a lot of flavor. My cocktail was well balanced and pretty strong. This seems like a great place to party on the weekends. Lots of seating and comfy couches to chill on. Huge patio with a ton of tables. About 1 block from the beach and you can watch all the people passing by. Great people watching.
This place is great for drinks and a vibe. I loved the atmosphere and the live dj was a great touch. If you're just coming here for that it's great. Service was also excellent. The food is very mid and overpriced for what you're getting. Would not come back for the food but would come back for the drinks and the vibe!
The vibes here were great! We went on a Sunday for brunch, and the crowd was loud and vibing for the world cup. They had a big set up outside in their patio with the games playing. The place itself was very tropical, and picturesque! We didn't have a reservation, and the hostess told us it would be a 45 minute wait, but luckily we were seated within 20 mins. I don't know how much Parking usually is, but the parking was out of control that day. We paid $45 to park down the street. The food was all VERY delicious. I would say the portion size is on the smaller end. I only had a party of 3, so it worked out for us. We shared a few apps, Spicy Tuna Sticky Rice, Cold Edamame, Teriyaki Burger, Fries, Chicken bites and the poke bowl. Everything tasted fresh, and we loved the fries, they were so crispy and that truffle aioli. Service was fast and easy. We sat chatting for hours and weren't bothered at all.. We would come back for drinks and apps!
Really nice ambiance and a nice tiki vibe! The portions are pretty small so I'd recommend ordering multiple plates. The edamame, and truffle fries were really tasty from the bites section. They also have a lot of cocktail options and zero proof drinks.
Busy beach bar in Venice. We came here just for drinks got the passionfruit margarita cocktail. Our drink was really good. Didn't try any of the food -- they have the type of menu that is very all over the place everything from sashimi to cheeseburgers to boas dumplings and chicken nuggets. We were sat inside and music was loud.
This place is absolutely beautiful and in the perfect location; it definitely gives Tulum vibes. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite meet my expectations. We ordered the salmon skewers, rice, fries, teriyaki burger, banana espresso martini, and the matcha martini. The salmon wasn't fully cooked in my opinion and could have been grilled or seared a bit longer. The rice and burger were just okay, nothing particularly memorable. The fries, however, were delicious and seasoned perfectly. One positive was that the food came out very quickly. The service was decent overall, and our server did recommend a great drink option. Despite the mixed experience, I'd still consider giving this place another try.

Excellent customer service, a variety of delicious dishes and an inviting atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience! 2 Orders of Crispy Rock Shrimp | Shared | This dish was a vibe, and one of my favorites! Plentiful, memorable flavorful & you can't just eat one... You'll keep craving more, which we all did! I highly recommend! Miso Maple Salad | Shared | I selected this salad, it was unique, has quite the bite to it, and I enjoyed it! I would order again! Includes crispy, quinoa, heart of palm, jicama, avocado, snow peas, gem lettuce, and miso maple! Garlic Butter Noodles | Shared | What a favorable combo! I would easily order again! Passion Fruit Mousse | Shared | I took a bite, which was yummy! If an island had a flavor, I feel this would be it! Haha! 2 Orders of Spicy Tuna & Salmon Avocado Roll | Shared | Yum! Both were delicious & The spicy tuna roll was my niece's favorite dish! Sharing is Caring | Shareable plates were my idea, as there were five of us! Why not sample the menu in all of its glory, as well as order a little something, each of us like?! After all, it was my first time dining here! Though all of us enjoyed the shrimp, one bowl of the shrimp was definitely enough for all of us! We didn't know the portion would be so huge! Family Affair | It was exciting having family in town to visit & I selected this restaurant for lunch! I knew that they appreciated places that were aesthetic, as well as had great food! Belles Beach House served Island Glam & memorable bites! There She Glows | She naturally glows, once you step inside, the lighting is so nice! It's such a beautiful place! A extra large seashell, as well as larger than life, wooden carved tiki figures, front and center greet you at the door... full-on Island vibe! I love the decor; wicker lamps, plush seating, including a few long tables, which are great for groups! Customer Service | Everyone that arrived at our table was super friendly, attentive easily, service with a smile, even though the place was super busy! While I couldn't remember everyone's name, Ryan's name was on the receipt as the server! Thanks again to everyone! Reservations Please | She's very popular! I highly recommend making reservations, unless you want to wait! If you have to wait, at least you're at the beach, walk around, look inside the shops, & maybe even put your feet in the sand! I had booked online with my card, which they request ahead of time! Los Angeles Food & Wine Event | I first tried flavorful dishes from Belles Beach House, while attending this event, solo! I enjoyed the samples and knew I would eventually dine at the restaurant! Friday Night Vibe | As part of our spontaneous girls night out, we stopped by for a bit and this place was packed! Good vibes all around and the atmosphere gets me every time, it's such a beautiful sight, very pretty place! I even saw the extended part of the restaurant that I had not seen before; the wraparound bar and more tables! Overall | She's beautiful, not only naturally glows, but forever memorable! She's Belles Beach House! Each dish arriving at our table was presented in a beautiful way, flavor upon flavor with every bite, and the atmosphere was very inviting, including excellent customer service!
If you're looking for a spot that instantly puts you in island mode, this place nails it Just a short walk from the beach, the Hawaiian-inspired ambience alone makes it worth the visit--laid-back, breezy, and perfect for unwinding. The food definitely lives up to the vibes. Everything we ordered was satisfying. The rock shrimp was crispy and addictive, the tuna poke salad tasted fresh, and the teriyaki burger was just okay--nothing bad, but it didn't quite stand out compared to the other dishes. And of course, Tito's shots to top it all off for a birthday celebration. Between the atmosphere, great food, and beachside location, this is easily a spot I'd come back to again. Perfect for a casual hangout, date night, or just soaking in those aloha vibes.
Just left from here less than an hr ago. Was very busy. Was packed outside and everywhere inside the restaurant. About 4-5 bartenders working. The service was alright. I had the Marine Layer. Thought it was happy hour but was told there's no happy hour on Fridays. The drink was $17 with tax, $18.65. It wasn't worth it at all. It was a nice looking drink tho. It tasted alright. Barley tasted any liquor.
First timers. Came to LA for the weekend and found this spot on TikTok. Located walking distance from Venice beach. We sat on the patio right away and our server was nice and friendly. We ordered the items below *Avocado toast - 2/10 *Teriyaki burger w/ fries - 7/10 *crispy shrimp app - 3/10 *tuna crispy rice - 5/10 *poke bowl - 9/10 *espresso martini flight (2 coconut + 1 strawberry yuzu) - 5/10 Spent about $200 overall Overall ambiance of the indoor outdoor setup was nice. Service was great. However the food was mostly a miss. Loved the poke bowl but that was about it. Bathrooms are super dim but cute.

This was my second time at Bella's Beach House. Overall, the food was decent, but the atmosphere and vibes were definitely the highlight. We ordered a variety of cut rolls and sashimi, along with the truffle fries, which were delicious. The drinks were also really good. Service was okay nothing bad, but nothing that really stood out either. Overall, it's a nice spot with a great atmosphere. I'd come back if I'm in the neighborhood, but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come here. read more
My friend and I made a reservation on a weekend evening for Belles Beach House and were promptly seated inside upon arriving. I love the decoration and aesthetics of the place, although it was a bit loud. It was a great spot for good bites, a lively atmosphere, and delicious drinks. Pork Bao Buns: These were soft and fluffy and flavorful, and it had tender pork that was seaoned well. Huli Huli Chicken Skewers: These were juicy and had a nice and sweet savory glaze. Hamachi Scallion Roll: These were fresh and light, and balanced out the other snacks well. Pina Colada Slushie: This was refreshing and did not have a strong alcoholic taste to it, and it was creamy and fit the tropical vibe well! read more

First of all, the entire restaurant takes you to the islands. The decor is not overdone but gives that wow factor! Some of the food I've tried the past 4 times I've been here are great...teriyaki burger, the FOREVER hot fries (great!), crispy rock shrimp, spicy tuna on crispy rice (too salty) & passion fruit mousse. The service from host, Ashley and server, Annika, was outstanding. They were friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable. read more

I wasn't too sure how good a restaurant on Venice beach would be just because I figured it would be all "hype" and not exactly quality. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The establishment nice, staff is friendly as well as helpful, and the food is good! I highlight recommend. It seems that it may turn into a late night spot later into the night, which seems fun. We were there for dinner so we didn't get to witness the late bight activities. Being that it's on Venice beach the prices are extremely fair. We opted for a ride share because parking can be a little tough especially with bigger vehicles. read more
Decided to take the boys to Venice beach for the first time and ended up grabbing lunch at Belles Beach House. First off there is a parking lot right across the street but if you want to stay for more than 3 hours, you're paying $35. Once we arrived we were seated outside on the patio and the area was nice and clean and it has like this tiki vibe to it. Our waitress was quick to take our order and gave some good suggestions on food. I decided on the kushi-yaki ponzu king salmon, the rock shrimp and some fries. I also went with the marine layer and everything was solid! I will say that their portions are small and the burger is also pretty small. My 6 year old son ordered a burger and it's was the perfect size for him. Oddly, I thought my oldest son's chicken nuggets was the highlight of everything. The chicken was nice and tender. Overall, it was really good and I would recommend it if you are in Venice. Also, note that everything is à la cart so French fries do not come with the sandwiches. Definitely giving those Tulum, tropical vibes and very fitting being in Venice and close proximity to the beach. We came here for a group dinner of about 6, where we were seated on time and the staff was friendly. The cocktails are tasty - tiki-style, sweet-taste reminiscent. I got the pineapple one which was tasty. Glasses seemed a bit smaller with the ice ratio so drinks finish up quick! Ordered to eat everything family-style. We ordered the crispy rocket shrimp, spicy tuna crispy rice, miso maple salad, mochiko chicken nuggets. Everything tasted solid, maybe not something I've been craving again but it's good! A friend was craving lobster rolls and then to their surprise it was actually lobster sushi rolls, but it ended up being a highlight of the night. I would consider coming back for trying other sushi rolls! read more

Good sushi rolls here at Belles! Fresh and delicious can't stop eating them! The restaurant almost feels like you're in Maui with the Hawaiian touch. It's definitely a good place to stop by for fresh sushi and sashimi. I'm sure the cocktails are great too. read more

First time here and the restaurant was cute and fully on theme, which made for a fun atmosphere. Most of the drinks were also delicious and surprisingly strong. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the food. I ordered the Fried Chicken Sandwich with a side of fries (which were not included with the sandwich). The chicken was dry, the breading was burnt, and it was so tough that it became difficult to eat. It had a weird texture where it was stringy and hard. The fries, however, completely saved the meal. They were fresh, crispy, and paired perfectly with the truffle aioli. read more

Belles Beach House makes a really good first impression. A beautifully designed tiki-house concept without the rough edges most tiki-house-type establishments have (in my experience). So far, so good. I got the spicy tuna roll; my wife got the tuna avocado roll. Both were well-crafted with fresh ingredients. Very solid sushi rolls (although both were on the small side), but definitely not "wow" in terms of taste. The service was the key let-down and the reason for a 4-star (vs. 5-star) review. While the hostess sat us at our table promptly and we were given menus and water, it took some waving when literally no one came over to our table to take our order. The same was true when it came to paying the bill. Our waiter was friendly enough but didn't seem all that engaged. I could see myself returning to have an exotic cocktail at the bar, though. read more
This place is a gem. Beautiful layout, whether you want with a cozy intimate meal inside or a more vibrant outdoor patio. The food selection is great, and it's hard to choose just one item, so I ordered 7! The chicken burger was succulent and juicy, pairs well with pineapple. The rock shrimp was amazing and the portions were generous. Try their sauteed green beans, the nuggets, or even the salmon sushi! I'm definitely coming back. read more
Before I start on how great our visit was I do need to emphasize the importance of making a reservation. They have quite the wait times however so worth it. We started with drinks and they were delicious as well as super cute! As for the food literally everything we ordered was superb! The poke bowl was fresh and good quality. The chicken sandwich had perfectly crunchy breading and the slaw was great. We also ordered kimchi pork belly buns, dumplings, sushi roll and truffle fries. Everything absolutely everything was on point. Highly recommend the dumplings; we got an extra order after devouring the first order lol service was great and although they were busy the food came out in a timely manner and our table was well attended to. read more

Had a fun BDay celebration at Belle's. Its not exactly beachfront, but its right there Windward. Lovely ambiance. Had some great cocktails and a lovely luncheon. Prices are very fair for the location. Service was wonderful. I would definitely get the burger again! So juicy. read more

Pretty impressive spot a 2-minute walk away from the Venice boardwalk. Belles has a beautiful modern design with light wooden finishes and is very spacious. The food was actually very delicious as well. My friends and I shared a crispy rice spicy tuna appetizer, a fried chicken sandwich, teriyaki cheeseburger and some fries. Everything was very yummy. I enjoyed the crispy rice spicy tuna and their teriyaki smash cheeseburger the most. Both dishes hit a lot of flavor notes, were so fresh. The burger was very juicy and crispy rice spicy tuna was of a perfect textural contrast, combining the tenderness and smoothness of spicy tuna with the right amount of crispiness from the rice. I would definitely recommend Belles to a friend! Such a fun vibe and very close to the beach! We had a reservation for my friend's birthday and our server was wonderful. I got the cheeseburger, fries, and Lychee Spritz and all I can say is wow. The spritz tasted like candy it was so flavorful! I scarfed down the cheeseburger because it was so delicious. Big fan of this restaurant group (Ruby's, Dudleys, Elephante) and was excited to try their Hawaiian fusion spot. Came with a large group for dinner (chose our family-style menu ahead of time). Service was awesome - they really took care of us. I tried: + Pina colada slushie + Mochiko chicken nuggets + Spicy tuna crispy rice + Chilled edamame + Miso maple salad + Garlic butter noodle + miso black cod + Huli huli chicken + Char Sui pork ribs + Sticky date cake Cocktail was great. My favorite bite was the crispy rice, followed by the chicken nuggets. Also liked the garlic butter noodles, pork ribs and date cake (though I was expecting the cake to be warmed up). Miso maple salad was tasty but overdressed. Also recommend parking right before sunset so you can pop over to the nearby beach for a nice moment! read more

Lovely LOVELY experience from the food to the cost to the ambience of it all I was very excited to come here because I use an app that tells me good places to eat and I saw it was a sister of elephante and I love that place in phoenix so I was already down. The food we got was exceptional the only thing I'd say maybe to is the dumplings if you love them then you should try but I'm not like wow I need to go get those again but I wasn't mad I bought them The crispy tuna rice-excellent Burger-in and out on steroids just a tasty freaking burger you can taste the quality Noodles with chicken teriyaki- I took it to go because I was stuffed but in loveeee Drinks were awesome and the waiter gave us such great service we didn't have to wonder he gave great recommendations that lived up to what he said! What a charm and one of the best spots in Venice. It's laid back but still feels like a scene. How would I describe the scene? Well, think Gilligan's Island elevated...you probably have no idea what that means. Just think tikki hut but not cheesy. It's a fantastic time. I've gone with people. I've gone alone. It's always a great time especially how bright and airy the place feels. Their cocktail menu is fun just like you'd expect at a spot like this. The sushi is actually very good. You might be questioning given that it's not exactly a Japanese establishment but hey, I'm a sushi connoisseur and I thought it was great! Lastly, please do not skip the eggplant. Belles Beach House had all the vibes! Loved the tiki feel of the restaurant/lounge area. Very comfortable. I felt like I was on vacation in Hawaii. The food and drinks, however, were a tad overpriced for what you get. The service was very friendly. Parking is a bit of a challenge. We opted for the $5 parking for 3 hours nearby. read more

I tried this place with my friend for her birthday. The ambiance is very cute, it looks a real island restaurant with Hawaiian style and decor. The food was good, they have a lot of great options that are tapas style. We ordered to share two kinds of handrolls, miso eggplant, ponzu king salmon, truffle fries and chilled edamame. Everything was delicious, the only thing - miso eggplant turned out to be too oily for my taste. Service was very friendly and attentive. My friend also got a birthday dessert which was a nice touch. I would definitely be back to try more things! read more

Touristy? Hell yeah. It's a freaking Hawaiian-themed restaurant off the beach in Venice. The music is funky and the scrolling videos of waves and surfers add to the theme along with over sized shells and tiki statues. Service is so QUICK I entered the thought that the food was premade and waiting but all dishes were quite tasty indeed. read more

Megan, our waitress, did a fantastic job serving and caring for us. I'll be back again. This is the perfect spot for girls' night, family gatherings, date night, and solo bar seating by yourself--any occasion. I tried the noodles Megan recommended and the spicy tuna with rice; both were delicious. How much is the cork fee?
Do we need reservations for tonight at 8pm?
Yes. I'd always make one but you can always put your name in and walk around until your table is ready.
How's the parking around Belle's?
You need to park and pay in lots near by. We will take Uber next time.

Are they open during holidays i.e. New Year's Eve?
They just opened in fall 2021 and were open for NYE but I would advise you call for info & reservations.
Are dogs allowed?
No, not even if they are in a carrier (I tried). However, service dogs are allowed.

There is Street parking and a paid parking lot across the street. Looking forward !

Yes, took my kid - and dog - there. Probably daytime is best though and early evening.

Yes, they won't seat you until everyone in your party has arrived.

i don't think you do... we showed up on a sat night without reservation and we got right in for diner... the place is pretty big.. lots of tables :)
