Top Gold is a must visit!! The nachos were absolutely amazing, perfect crispy, flavorful, and very generous with the topping. The sides were just as impressive and fresh and full of favor. MAKE A RESERVATION!!! If you have to wait (90 minutes for us...that's a true 90)...good luck...Bar Service is subpar...half of the dining area was closed...supposedly it was reserved for a private party (that never showed), but I think it was a testament to the lack of work force...so now those that are working are overworked & the DEMAND is greater...we're all at fault!!! Long waits at the bar to order drinks &/or food I had wings and fries while we waited...NOPE EXPENSIVE...your time goes quick if you're in a talkative group...pay attention to your clock The Good: Great Service in the Bay Food is fresher in the Bay Once we got to our bay (3) the service was Outstanding & the food was fresher...great atmosphere!!! read more

This place was fun. Never been golfing or to a driving range or even held a club before going to this place. This place was a great intro in golfing. The weather was perfect. The place was at least 3 stories and is very impressive. It made wearing my collared shirt seem appropriate. I made sure to get reservations as I read many negative reviews about people just walking in and having to wait hours. My wife and I had a bay to ourselves with a table and a friendly host who showed us the basics and took our drink and food orders. The breakfast burrito (10am reservation) was better than expected and drinks were pretty good. Beer list was extensive enough. It was a fairly expensive outing but well worth it in my opinion given the amenities. We'll definitely be back. read more

My husband and I went to Top Golf because he heard about it a few years ago and I wanted to go play miniature golf. This was way better. Upon arrival, we were told it was going to be a 1:30-2 hour wait. We were okay with that because we wanted to check out the bar and order food. We were greeted by "Tom" at the downstairs bar area. Tom offered us great food suggestions and told us we were definitely going to like the food here. We ordered our food and shortly after we got a text that our Bay was ready. We had only been waiting about 30 minutes. We had not gotten our food yet but Tom took care of us by transferring our bill to our Bay and having our food delivered to us upstairs. That was such a great experience to be able to take our order with us. I did not catch his name but we were happily greeted by the safety staff member to go over the rules and how to have a safe game. After our Bay host "Maya" assisted us with our drink orders and helped us start our game. Our food arrived as we were playing our first game. I was pleasantly surprised by how fast our food came and this was no ordinary bar food. We ordered pizza, steak tacos, and Parmesan wings. We were both blown away by how good the food was. My husband and I both agreed we definitely come back and hope to bring a big group of friends next time. read more

Had a Great night with our server John that was attentive friendly and had great customer service and made us feel welcome, although the elder lady busser unfortunately ruined our night, rushed us out of our table asking " Have We had Our Last Sips Of Water YET??" keep in mind we have 25 minutes left of our table with fries and wings we're still eating. Takes everything out the table including the fries they just fired that John had just brought out, We tell her that she can leave it when picking it up and totally brushes it off as if she didn't hear and takes everything, not acceptable you should never make someone feel rushed out an establishment especially when there bill is already payed for AND YOUR NOT EVEN CLOSED YET? super upset and disappointed so we asked someone close by about the incident so they can bring the manager Vanessa, but no apparently she has no say in anything because the older lady comes to us yelling "SO WHAT WERE WE EVEN STILL WORKING ON ???" starts having an whole argument with us while the manager is behind just watching everything unveiling and doing absolutely nothing, why are you even a manager ? Then she proceeds to see what she can do, gives us 1 15$ gift card saying that's all she can do, pitiful you're busser is over standing over our food with hands in the food and cups asking if she can take it out our way when she's already doing so. read more

We celebrated my husband's 40th at Top Golf with a surprise party and I would definitely recommend it. It's a fun venue & you don't have to be a golf pro. Almost everyone at our party have never hit a golf ball before and they all enjoyed it. Some points, 1) Service was excellent. I actually contacted them about a month in advance and hosted it as an event. I was working with the event coordinator Ana & she was very helpful. She kept her word and emailed me with necessary information/paperwork as promised. She was easy to get a hold of through email which I preferred since I have a newborn and I cannot talk on the phone whenever... I would go to her directly again if I wanted to hold another event there. She was very professional and easy to work with. Our main server/event manager on the day of the event was Malayshia. She was pleasant to work with as well. She made sure everyone got their drinks & food. She was nice enough to give me some take out boxes for the leftovers. There were some other managers/workers at top golf who came around to make sure we were provided for etc. service was excellent. 2) Food. For events with a large group you need to order their catering service and pay per person. To my surprise the food was pretty good - their chicken tenders & pulled pork sandwich was delicious. I also added on a couple cheese & charcuterie board and everything on it was good! I would order everything again in the future. Only con was the price. It's kinda expensive. $28pp - besides their main dishes other stuff were lays chips which only like 2 people ate (these were kids) & store bought chocolate chip cookies... it would have been nice if they had some French fries or something. Lol :) also for the food for events only had like 3 options - I ended up choosing the most kid friendly menu. It would be nice to get more choices or have the a la carte option. 3) Golf. It was fun & it cool how the microchips in the balls track it's movement. Definitely fun & have to try once! 4) It gets busy really quick and so it's best to make reservations early especially if you're going to have a large group. I reached out a month in advance and still couldn't book right away until someone didn't follow through with their reservation. We had 18 people & 3 bays. So plan way in advance. 5) they have self parking which gets packed quick & valet for like $8. Overall a very positive experience and I would wanna go back!!! read more

Went for opening day today and can't wait to go back! We've done TG in Vegas, so kinda knew the drill (if you don't have a reservation be prepared to wait 30min - 1 hour or so). Got there around 11am and had about a 45 min wait. Everyone was super friendly and accommodating. We ended up waiting on the 3rd floor while grabbing drinks and food. Played some foosball. Honestly, the 45 mins went by fast. We were stoked to get a bay with a couch (wish they all had couches). I love the variety of games! We brought our 6 yr old and her friend. They provide you with youth golf clubs, which is awesome! They had a blast playing angry birds! The food and drinks were great! Definitely a great spot to check out! Super stoked to have one in the LA area! read more

This place is fun, clean and friendly. I am a novice to golf, but having a set of clubs to just smack around is pretty fun. Music, television drinks, what else do you need to hang out. My issue is with the food. Aside from being on the pricey side, they could use a menu update. The wings are good, but the nachos were disappointing. It's basically 4 tostadas cut in half, with your protein choice and cheese on top and a smeared scoop of guac and sour cream on the side....no way should a half tostada be used in place of a smaller chip... Anyhow, drink selection is nice plus a full bar available after the game... I would still recommend this place, just will stay away from the nachos. read more

I've been to other TG locations and was excited to hit this location, unfortunately we were hit with poor service and unnecessary wait times. Did you ever receive a gift on Christmas only to find out you're missing batteries, adaptor, etc. and now you have to wait 24 hours until stores are open again? This is just like that. If I could channel my inner Bowser from Mario party, I'd take all of the stars from this TG. It's clear the res/walk in system is broken. We walked in at 11:40 and were told the wait time would be 1-1.5 hours so we grabbed a bite to eat. We were about an hour in and checked the wait and were told still another half hour. We did this song and dance every half hour until we gave up at 3+hrs of waiting. I finally received a text after 3.5+hrs. I get things happen and it's new location but from other reviews and first hand experience their system needs to be fixed. We got played when we should have been the ones playing golf. The food and service was disappointing. I had to chase the guy behind the bar just to close out after being generally overlooked and forgotten (not sure how when we were a party of 4 and at a booth between two other booths right in front of the bar where the server stood). The server never brought us water (just plain ol water) after asking multiple times from the beginning of our order. Hopefully next time I'm able to spend money at a place that's literally made for that but that won't be anytime soon. Don't come here without a reservation, it's not worth it. read more

Nope, no thank you. Won't be coming back ever. We had booked a game for 1.5 hours and placed a food order right away. However, the food took a whole hour to arrive at our table. Throughout this time, the staff did not bother to check in on us or offer any apologies for the delay. This lack of attention and consideration was frustrating, especially since we were on a time limit. With only 20 minutes left in our game, we were forced to rush through eating our food to avoid it going to waste. It was an unpleasant and rushed dining experience, which further added to our disappointment. The negative reviews are accurate. Don't come hungry or expect good service. Just go to a driving range instead. Better use of your time. read more

I get that this location has been open for a little less than 2 weeks. However, it took us a full hour to get us started even after while waiting 3+ hours to even get checked in. The first bay we were assigned was broken and they moved us two more times before we were given a functioning bay. Nobody looked like they knew what they were doing whatsoever... not even a server to help us order food while we waited. An hour and a half later... we tried to order food and their point of sale system was down. We are thankful they compensated us with a free hour but it really was just a terrible experience all together. I do want to give a shoutout to Elise who was working the first floor - thank you for trying your best to help us! read more

Be careful if you plan a group event. The place is great, but they will not let you decide your portions, nor will they let you take food if you don't eat it all. They threw away almost 20 pounds of food we did not consume. They will also do last call 30 minutes to the end of your time (only 2 hours) and kick you out the moment your time is up. Fun time, but just make sure you know what you're paying for. read more

Top golf is generally is a blast everywhere!! I've gone to many other cities and have had no issues but this location...doesn't really have it all together. We had a reservation and still had to wait for hours for our bay. So if you are in a hurry, I would give this place more time to get organized cuz you will be waiting! However, while you wait you can hang out the the bar in different floors...you'll get really lucky if you get great service there because again they don't have it all figured out. I do think it's because it's new and they probably don't have many employees. When we finally got to our bay we had a blast and the service was awesome!!! read more

This was my first time at top golf so I didn't know what to expect. You can only make a reservation a week out so a week before I wanted to have my party come in, I did the reservation online. I was able to reserve for six people per table. It says if you want more than you need to book more than one table I believe it is about $75 per hour on a peak day like a Saturday. Two hours was enough for us, but I could see us doing a maximum of about three hours. Once we checked in, we were promptly given a table number and then we went to go sit down. Our waiter gave us the rundown of how everything works. We ordered food, which was pretty decent. I had the chicken fingers and also guacamole everything was made very well. They also serve alcohol drinks but I just didn't have any this day. After a while, I finally got a hang of how to hit the ball and I was able to score some good points. It was fun getting competitive. It's a really nice place to go to relax with friends, eat and drink, but also still do an activity. read more

I heard that the average golfer has a 12,500 to 1 chance of making a hole-in-one. Being below average, I can appreciate the 10-25 ft diameter of the holes here. Top Golf found a way to enjoy golf...even if you're not good at it. Hitting a good golf shot here only requires three things: beer, burgers, and more beer. In the early 1980s, video games were a standing sport, TG has brought back the feeling of the video arcade. Top Golf serves as the de facto recreation center for a generation of beer guzzling adult kids. Throw in large video screens, animated replays, and a wait staff intent on getting you drunk and you have the perfect storm. Golf is a target game, much like Galaga, Space Invaders or Centipede. Those old enough will embrace TG as reminiscent of the Arcade. Golf courses may be fun, but they fail to capture what makes TG fun: the smell of burgers, nachos and pizza; a full bar at each hole, and the absolute glory of typing your name into the score board. Disguising a cover charge as a mandatory "membership" sucks, - 1 star for this rip off. read more

First time at Top Golf. We were there for birthday gathering. Ambiance was nice. Security guards at the enterance was nice to have as well. The food was okay but could use a variety of hardy food items. Lastly, the staff were very weird but nice, except for the waiter for our party. The waiter had no interest in taking care of our orders and never came by to check if we needed anything else. At the end, the waiter gave us the bill but lost the credit card. Didn't seem to care to look for it. Most likely I would not go back to Top Golf in El Segundo. read more

I had a pretty terrible experience at Topgolf while celebrating a surprise birthday party. Some friends arrived before me and tossed out beer cans at the entrance. I completely understand and respect the decision not to let them in--rules are rules. However, things escalated unnecessarily when security refused to let other members of our group in, claiming it was because of "sarcasm." When I stepped outside to check on one of my friends, security began questioning me as though I were intoxicated (I wasn't). I explained I was there for a surprise party and wasn't sure of the exact bay number. Despite this, I was repeatedly questioned until the security guard talked to a manager and finally let me in. When I got to the bay, I realized one of my sober friends still hadn't been let in. I spoke to the manager about what happened, and while he went to talk to security, he came back and said there was nothing else he could do. He also claimed security only denied two people entry, which wasn't true--they had refused three. The manager was overall unhelpful, showed no concern about the situation, and didn't seem to care in any capacity. Throughout this, the security guard kept saying things like he was trying to "keep the place from turning into the ghetto," which was completely inappropriate and unnecessary. I'm not upset about the initial rules being enforced. What bothered me was how the security handled the situation, the unprofessional attitude, and the manager's lack of action or concern. It felt like the security team was on a power trip, and the experience completely ruined what should have been a fun night. I won't be coming back here. read more

It's insane how this 0 star review when to a 5 star with the change of a server. It's crazy how your experience can really dictate off of who is making it great. I really was tempted to give a 1 star but Dison literally changed are whole experience. The first server we had was absolutely horrible. I'm in the service industry myself and I get it when it's busy or people are having a bad day but this person did not treat us well at all or anywhere near how all the other tables were treated. Never even introduced themselves and just gave us a really bad experience right off the bat. I can see why this location has only 3 stars. We were celebrating our friend getting engaged and it was all of our first time there. We were just awfully handled by Dani (I would have gave a 1 star to) was just incredibly rude and we were just trying to celebrate with our friend. We ask to switch sections because we were not trying to have that awful experience/service at all on this special night. I forget the mangers name but he kindly obliged and helped us flipped our whole night around with Dison ! He literally made us all cry with this special "bride to be" tray and actually catered to us entirely. Thank you so much for making an almost bad night great again!!! I had my doubts about the change over, but it looks like changes to the course and range have been nice, if only to make it more palatable to the non-golfer. The course is in great shape, except I can foresee a time when the greens might need to be worked on as NO ONE seems to fix divots. (Golf etiquette 101...) The only reason 4 stars and not 5 is that parking is tough and it can be a zoo, and it's built for the Dave and busters crowd. But it's a great update. read more

I'm a first time Topgolfer. I went there for a work event. The last time I played golf was about 10 years ago so I was way out of practice but I loved this 21st century driving range. The engineering of each golf bay is really cool and tracks where your ball goes. Our team had a great time. They also served some Mexican food for lunch - some of it was good, some not so much. They ran out of lettuce and quesadillas, which was disappointing and the beef fajitas weren't that good, but this wasn't really a problem, I went back for seconds of the stuff they had an excess of. Who knows, maybe this will motivate me to play more golf?! It's a pretty expensive sport though and in this day and age, well....maybe I'll just have to keep coming back to Topgolf! read more

Was excited to try Topgolf out since I've only seen it in Vegas. Wanted to make a reservation for a party of six for a Saturday, and after reading some Yelp reviews, learned that they release reservations a week in advance at 6am. Was able to snag a morning reservation, which basically puts you at the top of the list, doesn't necessarily guarantee that specific time. They also charge you a $25 reservation fee, which I was surprised by, but I feel like if you don't want to have to wait hours (which some of the other Yelp reservations mentioned) it might be worth it, especially later on in the day. Check-in is all via text and was very easy. You get a text 15 minutes before to check in and then they let you know what bay you're going to. Also had the option for a 30 minute extension if you're not ready to check in, because once you do, you have five minutes to get to your bay. Friendly service where everything was explained to us. Got some snacks as well, which were pretty good. You pick how much time You want to play for and you can always keep adding time if you want. Lots of different games - aiming for targets, Angry Birds themed game etc. there's a $5 fee for new players; if you've been before and played, you just enter your phone number when you're registering each person playing and you're good to go. Three stories with lots of bays, but definitely can see how it gets crowded as the day goes on. More fees than other activities but seems to be part of the process. Overall, a fun experience but would recommend going earlier in the day on the weekends or got during the week if you're not patient. read more
