The food, well I had this great host, Dee. And when we were leaving she was standing outside and we inquired about why she left so abruptly. But one of our friends overheard the manager yelling about her eating something the cook gave her. We saw her but she wasn't eating she took a bite and put it back down. A manager made a stink over nothing, leaving that poor girl to be put out in front of Top Golf like she did something wrong. I was told that they throw the food away, with all the hungry people in the world and Top Golf is throwing away food. On top of that, this kind young lady catered to us with the best service, so we added an extra $30.00 to her tip, in Cash! Top golf should be ashamed of themselves. Customer service is awful, the ice that they serve with drinks isn't real dry ice. They show favoritism with their workers and there's a lot of young people who work there who often feels like they can pick and choose what they want to do instead of what is required. Okay, it's pricey for just a couple of people but better for larger groups. That said, the environment is super in a carnival meets sports bar meets elevated eats kind of way. If you have a different ethnicity....think twice before planning a Top golf Baltimore evening. The worst place you can visit. The administration and staff certainly have racial bias. This review is coming from an educated, socially responsible citizen of society. We have been to Top golf before celebrating kids and family members Birthday parties, when they have never checked physical form of IDs. To start our session was booked for 6pm, we were not assigned a bay till 6:15, when they prompt in closing the bay sharp at deadline. The server came to help around 6:30pm. Her name was Destiny for reference. One of our part few of our party members just carry a state accepted ID, on phone, which is a formal and accepted form of ID by Maryland state law, Topgolf refuse to accept. The manager Ms. Samantha, the intention is to be unhelpful than a facilitator, was rather blunt with poor people skills, could certainly benefit from professional coaching about customer service. When politely asked about showing Top Golf published policy of not accepting a valid state ID on phone, was not able to reproduce. We are courteous law abiding citizens, will follow all laws and policies but such an instance seemed like victimization based on their personal bias based on race ??? Is all that is coming to my mind as a logical reason. The server showed poor body language and attitude, almost a racist attitute, In front of us she was visibly more courteous to other customers. She was unavailable for us and was no where to be found to take food orders for our hungry kids :( We had to request for a replacement server, to atleast carry on with the kids birthday and not ruin the evening, was the only request which was allowed the entire evening. She was courteous and polite, however did make a point to tell us there will not extension on the bay, when we did not even ask, and there were many empty bays available otherwise at the time. This just is a reflection of not an institution standing behind customer service. The employees are there to just to the minimum possible and escape work. If there is an ownership should do an inspection to understand the problem, as the employees don't care about the business or customer service at all. For those who ever tried to book a bay at this location would know getting any adequate information from them is like pulling teeth!!! They will try their best to be unhelpful and non-accommodative of any basic requests. They do not realize that such unhelpful attitude just ruins people awaited social gathering and relaxation. The experience may feel similar to being in jail where all basic requests will be denied as the intention is "punishment" This intention behind this review if just to highlight an unprofessional, un courteous, sub-optimal and minimalist customer service. Between being situated feet from the playing docks and the CSX train..kind of a bummer buttttttt the playing environment was spot on.. Kay was our waitress and she was amazing.. Only thing: they charge your card for a deposit when you make your reservation. I just realized when reviewing my charges that they didn't give me a credit for that deposit during my visit. I love the Top Golf in Baltimore. It's situated perfectly and there's ample parking so far. Tuesdays are half price and my favorite bartender Brittni is on the 1's and 2's!!! I stand by my previous review for a small night out with advance reservations. This review is for an ad hoc holiday corporate team building activity without reservations, on a Wednesday at 4:30pm. My division decided to have a team building activity at Top Golf, on a Wednesday at 4:30pm. We expected around 12-14 people, so we asked for 2 bays together. It was fairly empty at the time, and we were given quite a hard time about getting two bays together. Once we were in the bays, it seemed like we were an inconvenience, and things like extending our bay time were questionable. Food and drinks came out reasonably well, but there was still some disorder and we were told it was "last call" for our bays several times, while there was plenty of time on the clock. The server was nice, and she did try to keep things flowing nicely, but seemed to be at the mercy of a manager who wasn't too thrilled with our presence. The icing on the cake was when we had 15 minutes left in one bay and 30 in another, the server advised that we could either extend 15 minutes and get one last round of food or drink orders in, or let the time tick down. We decided to add 15 minutes (for ~$30) to end at the same time as our second bay. Unfortunately, with 10 minutes to go, the bay stopped working. Balls stopped being dispensed, and the games all ceased as a result. We notified the server the next time she appeared, while frantically trying to get the Help on the computer to notify someone, to no avail. When the server arrived back, she noted the 4 minutes remaining (because we had been trying to get someone for 6) and said she would get a manager to extend us and get it fixed. By the time someone was there to fix it, the time had expired. We again asked for a credit for the time, to restart it to 10 minutes, and the repair person had no control over that, and said he would notify a manager. Unfortunately, another 10 minutes or so passed, and our group was restless, so we decided to take the loss and leave. It is my feeling that the management should refund our group $20 for the lost time that was paid for. All in all, Top Golf is a generally good, fun time. Yesterday's experience, however, left something to be desired. I hope that management will make this right so that I can update my review to reflect that. read more

My first time actually hitting a golf ball. The price is a little steep but well worth it for a night out with the family. I believe we paid 150.00 to reserve a stall and the food prices were reasonable. They charge a 15.00 booking fee and deposit on a not busy Tuesday which does not go to your bill. The host was rude and did not refund it even after Guest services told us they would. She told us it is so we don't wait almost two hours to play. We watched our table and three others remain free for 30 minutes then we got one, so the wait time was a lie. Came to visit this location on a Sunday night it's wasn't too busy for a group of 8 . The ambiance is very relaxed and enjoyable. Plenty of activities offered here along with food and drinks . Food was great, very fresh . It was approximately 180$ for 3 beers , 2 flatbreads, chips and fountain drink with a game for 1 hr for 6 which is the limit on the screen . Our waitress was great. She running her own food and drinks and doing the best she could. The kitchen got my food wrong and would not give my waitress the "special sauce" that was on my burger and put it on the side. I was not given any kind of discount or any compensation for the mistake. I was told before we started playing that Top Golf offers 10% off games to military, fire fighters and law enforcement. Being a law enforcement officer I asked and confirmed that the discount was active. When I got my check at the end of the games the waiter went to get a manager to approve the discount. The manager apparently told her that they weren't offering that discount anymore. So to get my food wrong and then take away a discount that was advertised I was very disappointed with my visit. I've been to the Top Golf in Germantown and was pleased with my visit there but this being my first time at the Top Golf in Baltimore it was a huge let down on expectations going into it. read more

December 1, 2024. From Indianapolis IN, working the Baltimore game. We couldn't get anyone to wait on us in the bar area upstairs so left that area hoping to get better service in the golf simulator area downstairs. Service was unfriendly to begin with and couldn't get anyone to get refills and felt like a bother to the waiter. I had to get the attention of another waitress over to get our waiter and finally got refills on drinks. The time was up so we paid and were finishing up our food about 5 mins after finishing golf and were told to leave and not in a friendly manner. Many other areas were empty so they did not need our golf simulator. Went to the front and complained and did not get much better results other than to be told in an unfriendly way again that we could not leave with our drinks which was coke. We've been to multiple top golf's and drive shacks but this has been the worst by far. The service was horrible and the food was sub par. We ordered the nachos and it literally came with about 10 nacho chips. We also ordered wings and they didn't bring us any napkins. When we finally saw our server again and asked for napkins they never came. I had to get up and go find them myself. We also ordered 4 waters and it took over 10 minutes to get them. Actual drinks with alcohol took 30+. Next time we'll go to a driving range and have a better time and save a lot of money. read more

We were greeted very warmly and the lane we reserved was ready. The manager did come by briefly and introduce himself. When I asked a question, he quickly said that the server for us would be over to explain how this works. 10 min later she did come and I told her it was our first time, she didn't explain much and I did not find her helpful. our first time going to a Topgolf facility. we actually really enjoyed our experience. we walked in to the front and were greeted by the worker at the front desk then go our bay reserved. we walked around the day prior so we knew we wanted to try the top floor. there are a total of 3 floors. it was pretty cool that they have technology that was able to capture our speed and where the golf ball went. we then went upstairs to our bay. the hour doesnt start until you log in. you were able to order food once youre logged in. it was a fun experience for us. read more

We've played Topgolf in Las Vegas and Seattle before, but we've never encountered such poor service attitude. Tonight, we're flying to the West Coast, so we came to Topgolf after lunch to pass the time. As we entered the lobby, my son was holding a box of leftovers because he doesn't like airport food, so we packed up his lunch leftovers. The receptionist directly asked us to throw it away before entering. I can understand that outside food may not be allowed in. So I asked if my son could sit on the outdoor sofa and finish his food to avoid waste. Without even looking at me, she coldly replied, "No, you can go far away from this building to eat your leftovers." I was shocked by this blunt response. So glad to finally have a topgolf in Baltimore! I had been waiting for this location to open and when it finally did, I couldn't wait to go! The game and food here were pretty on par with the other top golf locations I had been to-- we didn't have any issues playing, and the food was okay (what you would expect from bar food!), but again no issues! The ice cream was very good though. The workers are always patient and accommodating. What I really enjoyed about this top golf location was all the other games they had availability. The facility is massive, and once you are done with your topgolf game, you have the option of playing a ton of different table games for free!!! We spent a lot of time playing foosball and air hockey and had so much fun! I'm so glad they offer this. Absolutely horrible experience. I've been to several TopGolfs facilities for events - either in attendance, or hosting them. I scheduled an event for about 10 of us. Two bays, pre-spend minimum on food, all the fixins' for a great time. We arrived and the front desk did not have my reservation, even after a downpayment and talking with the event manager. To their credit, they pieced something together for us. But when we got to the bays, there was more confusion, and the staff blocked us from using one bay (while they tried to figure it out), costing us about 20 minutes of play time. We ordered food. It took nearly 1.5 hours to come out. And when it did, one of the kids glasses had lipstick on the edge. Clearly not washed. And some of our order was delivered to the wrong table. Just an all around poor experience. I hope the service gets better but I won't be recommending this location to any of my colleagues, friends or families for awhile. read more

My family and I went out to celebrate my sister in law birthday, however we found out fairly quickly that wasn't the best spot to celebrate at. To begin with I'm a server myself and do it for a living so I do expect good service at least decent service because that's what I give out to everybody and it's not hard at all to be kind, our server SAAKIRA was very rude , we were very nice with her mainly because we thought SAAKIRA was slow because she was night and day with us. we told SAAKIRA our golf ball dispenser stopped dispensing and it took about 15 minutes to get it all fixed up she never apologized or offered more time to make up for time lost , actually when I asked her if they could add the time back she rolled her eyes and made it seem like we're asking for too much. Fast forward now, after the 2nd time she came to grab food orders her attitude drastically changed. I placed my drink order while everyone placed food orders and my drink came out 10 minutes AFTER the food it literally took 45 minutes nearly an HOUR for one drink to come out . Our food was so cold I thought it was frozen in the midddle or maybe saakira just had our food waiting at the window cuz that's what servers do when they get upset. She showed lack of interest in our party while the party next to us got the happy and nice server we saw in the beginning. We spent over $200 there and would expect better service than this. When confronted about the situation. The manager SAM was just very lazy about going bout it , she kept just saying "oh I'm sorry" then walking away with no resolution . After telling her a third time how frustrated I was and telling her we're active military so we would like or 10% discount she tried to tell us no , I was so thrown off I had to tell her you will give us our 10% off we are serving and deserve it after alll this chaos she then gave us $4.50 off of a $212 bill ... INSANE. Over all SAAKIRA& SAM were very awful and made our FIRST EXPERIENCE at top golf very traumatic. Top golf is definitely a fun thing to do with friends. However. If you want a drink or food. Well that takes about an hour to arrive. Service is way way beyond slow. Drinks well... doubt any alcohol is in them. If you go. Get a beer at the bar on your own. Do not have your server do so. Do not order a cocktail which is made poorly and wrong at that! So the wife, I, and another couple went to the Baltimore Federal Hill location in April 2023 the reservation process and accompanying fees weren't very clear and once there I realized it is more likely intentional than accidental or a result of incompetence because the cost of a 4 hr night out there jumps into multiple hundreds quickly, and for what I'm not exactly sure, all the "games" are basically the same thing, hitting a golf ball with a few friends but each title has a different screen design to keep score.....Food is ridiculously over priced for the quality and quantity you receive, think TGIFs with half portions and double priced drinks......No place to wash hands, or sanitize between turns, food came out half way through our 4 hr window, and we're being rushed out of our booth by a rude server 45 min before the time slot expired, despite having reserved the booth for the next 4 hours also which I instantly regretted upon arriving, which I now understand why they require such a large % of the fees as a deposit bc most thinking people would run....save your money, and have a better night grab a bottle of your favorite spirits, and hit the driving range with a few friends, then hit McDonalds value meal on the way home for a better experience, similar quality food and probably better service. read more
