I love the doughnuts themselves but didn't like the service here. When I walked in, all the tables were dirty and there were plates not cleaned up.... For having 3 people working (all standing there doing not much) they should have been able to clean up a bit.... Not only that, its 11am and they have almost no options. They didn't have any sprinkle doughnuts even! Oh, and the plate that was left next to where I was sitting had sprinkles everywhere. Weird.... Must have been from a while ago since there's none left. The guy working was really rude and lazy. He told me to go to a different location for a sprinkle... When I picked up a frequent user card, he gave it back to me and said that it was only for coffee. But he couldn't put it back himself apparently? I mean we didn't get any coffee so obviously have no need for it. I was really disappointed with the service for spending almost $3 a doughnut.... And for them to have almost no options at a DOUGHNUT SHOP.... Not good. read more

Good doughnuts. Nice to get some delicious varieties that you can't elsewhere. But, as already mentioned-they have some awful customer service! Very unfriendly - the staff put my jelly doughnut in a bag on its side, which immediately caused the jelly to come out and stick to the bag. I asked for a new one and the girl gives me attitude. Sorry, but when you pay as much as you do for it, you should get en edible doughnut. read more

Everyone raved to me about Top Pot Doughnuts. So I finally went with my husband to experience these amazing doughnuts. What a disappointment!!!! HEAVY!!! I detest donuts that are lead like in feel. They are heavy on the plate and heavy going down as well. I don't expect light as air Krispy Kreme donuts but something right in the middle. A cake doughnut should be cake like but not puffed full of air or weighted down. To be fair I have been twice- perhaps my first visit was an off day. Nope! Again heavy doughnuts and an odd tasting frying oil or grease flavor of some sort in the chocolate cake. Another pet peeve outside lead like doughnuts - a weak, pathetic hot chocolate. UGH!!!! I fear that coffee has so overtaken Seattle that they have forgotten how to make a decent hot chocolate. This concoction on both occasions was uber pale, rather like they poured milk over a chocolate bar and then served it. Just the essence of chocolate instead of the actual taste. BLAH!!! I seriously would rather make my own donuts at home than return to Top Pot! read more

For a lot of people in this area, Top Pot is the go to donut. I find them way too heavy, and prefer the Dunkin' style, which is lighter but not available in this market. Top Pot calls them "hand forged," and the allusion to blacksmithing is appropriate given the weight of these pastries. We'll drive all the way to Issaquah to Krispy Kreme to avoid serving Top Pot. read more

The donuts are ok, not the best by any means. They are a little heavy and so expensive. But my kids like them so I occasionlly take them there after school for a treat, but unfortunately they are almost always out of the favorites (maple bar, glazed) by 3:00pm. Today I think they only had three donuts left at all. Love this place! Great coffee and awesome doughnuts! I've noticed some of the reviewers say they couldn't find standard doughnuts, that's because they already sold out! If you come later then the selection has already been picked over. The only downside is that there can be a long wait depending on the day but that's because it's so tasty! There is a free parking garage in the same building so just look for it and bring in your ticket. read more

Love the doughnuts, the Americanos are delicious and the table space is great for studying. The parking situation is not so good. The parking on the street is time limited and out front it's 20 minute loading only. The ambiance is more family oriented than hipster here, but I don't mind that. Gotta say, I was a little disappointed. Not much of selection and not much creativity in the doughnuts they did have. What we tasted was really good, but 6 doughnuts cost about 12 bucks and for the difference in price, a good grocery store doughnut would have sufficed. I also recently went to Frost in Mill Creek and 6 donuts was only 8 bucks and that included some of the premium flavors (the peanut butter mousse filled bismark and the cherry almond filled were my faves) Now those were some creative, delicious donuts! With prices going up you would expect the quality and amount to remain consistent...not so. I actually had one of the staff tell me they were instructed to make their donuts (especially the fritters and pershings) smaller. And, to top it off...donuts were stale. Not going back. read more

However, I have finally decided to Yelp them because I have always been impressed with the customer service, and today, Shelly at the 106th store in Bellevue was over the top. Great customer service, personality, and friendliness from everyone, besides awesome coffee and doughnuts, made my blase Saturday morning! Perfect early, early morning spot for meeting an old friend over a cuppa joe. The coffee was up to Seattle standards -- a great latte. The chai was piping hot and just right: not too sweet, not too spicy and not too soy-y. We had a plain glazed and salted caramel old-fashioned donuts which were also perfect: light and flavorful. Our office manager brought in some Top Pot Doughnuts last week. I was on diet, and still on. Though, the cute box in the lunch room attracted me to it! I opened it, OH MY GOODNESS!!! They are DONUTS ! My reaction was like seeing cupcakes! No, I never reacted quite the same to donuts. They are super cute. Well, it is early in the morning, why not? Though, I am on diet, so I should watch. So I had 1/4 of the donuts. It was good! It was not too sweet and the texture is good. I like the variety and the presentation so you can still serve your customers in a business meeting and not making it feeling too cheap and boring. read more

On the eastside this is the place to get your doughnuts. I have tried almost all of the flavors and they are all delicious. My favorite is the chocolate old fashioned. It has great texture, has so much flavor, melts in your mouth just enough and like all of their doughnuts is big enough to fill you up. You get what you pay for, big portion, flavor and satisfaction. These doughnuts are big, which is great because I can only eat one, but also because it allows me to slowly enough my coffee and doughnut together. The maple bar is huge, my second favorite, it tastes great, not too sweet, and has just enough frosting. For all the doughnuts, they are not too sugary and wont make your stomach hurt after eating it. also they are not too messy, sticky or greasy. They don't taste like grease, they all have great individual flavors. This is a fun place for kids because of their sprinkled doughnuts which are really big, and have fun colors and sprinkles. ONLY BIG ISSUE, hard to find parking, the line is usually long. It makes it hard for grab n go. read more

Top Pot is the king, but you have to keep a few things in mind. First, you have to catch them at the right time or the selection will be poor and you'll have to wait. Second, the cake donuts are just average, its the old fashioned that are out of this world good. Best donuts I've ever had (with the exception of fresh cooked blueberry at Mr. D's in La Crosse, WI at 10pm, but they closed). Also, its very hard to find parking at the Bellevue location. read more
