I wouldn't buy anything from them again. I was on there website looking for Ruger Magazine's, which they showed 50 in stock on April 19, 2019. They quickly charged my credit card, and charged me $9.99 on the same day. Today is April 24, 2019 at 7:00 PM EST. I just experienced what appears to be an unscrupulous (possibly illegal) sales practice. I received an email for a certain product at a specified price. Yet when I called to accept their offer and order that item, by number, they gave me a price $60 higher. And they wouldn't listen/accept the facts they listed in their email. Great selection. I went to Tombstone to buy two guns today and I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive selection. They had both guns I was looking for in stock. So now the reason for the 1 star. We got our ticket (42) and noticed they were at 11. We waited around for an hour up to ticket 22. Then, we just left because our time is too valuable. This store lost 3k in sales because they can't properly staff. I would suggest calling ahead to see what the wait is, or do what I'm going to do now, buy online. I hate to do that because I'm all about buying local, but the time saving and ease of buying is going to kill a shop like this that can't service clients in a timely manner. Sad... read more

Normally "In Stock" means the item will ship within a couple of days. For these guys it means a couple of weeks. If you call they mention operating several warehouses over which they have no visibility or control. I wonder if they are drop shipping from distributors and don't actually have the items they advertise as being "In Stock." Lots of flakes in the firearms business. Sad. I heard Tombstone Tactical promoted by Hannity and James T. Harris from the Conservative Circus. So I decided to check it out. I called ahead of time to see if they had a particular magazine for my gun. They said yes, so I went. I was impressed with the selection of weapons and the availability of various types of ammunition. I rated TT with 4 stars only because they did not have the mags they said they had. The gentleman that helped me was very helpful and even went to the call center to find out why I was given mis information. He actually found one mag sitting back there. I never told them to hold one, since I wanted to purchase a couple of them. He sold me the one he found and ordered me another. They couldn't ship it to me, so I had to drive back for it, which was a bit of an inconvenience since I live 40 minutes away. I would go back tho!! read more

I am generally pretty happy after releasing this store and think they have a great selection overall. One of the salesman specifically is especially knowledgeable in NFA items like suppressors and that's been very helpful. The only downside imo is the inability to actually call the store for any reason. The call center is often rude and short answered and I've found many times that stock in the store and what the call center tells you aren't the same thing. But overall it's a great store, fairly priced and usually has some of the harder ammunition to find at a relatively fair price. Especially subsonic ammo. This last experience was less than great. I left my credit card in the machine after paying for my special order item. 2 days later I realized it was missing and knew instantly where I had left it. (I know stupid me) I was a little frustrated they hadn't called to let me know I left it as my item was special order and they had all of my info that obviously matched the name on the card as well as my business name which is also on the card. I attempted to call the store and see if they could verify if I had in fact left it where I thought. The call center rep was rude, dismissive and said there was no way for him to speak to anyone in the store. (Which I know is a lie because they've done with me in the store before) anyway, I went in and sure enough they had my card. But a little help and a verification of it being there would have eased my worries. Overall not a huge deal, but possibly a learning experience. I will definitely be back though, store is top notch in most other categories. read more

I ordered a gun from Tombstone Tactical because it was listed as in stock. After a week of hearing nothing, nor was my email responded to, I called. I was told the gun isn't in stock and had to be ordered from a distributor and once they had it they would ship it out to my ffl. Again, this was listed as in stock. I asked to have my order cancelled and was told I would have to pay a restocking fee for a gun that isn't even in stock but was listed as such. Thanks for trying to squeeze every penny out of your (ex) customers! That's terrible customer service. I'm done with Tombstone Tactical. read more

I've spend thousands of dollars in the past with this store. I walked in today and picked up some mags and the employee Hunter approached me and asked what I was looking for. I asked for some .556 ammo and he asked me where I was shooting at. I mentioned I'm a California resident and I don't live in Arizona but have a friend who lives in Mesa, AZ. He refused to sell the mags or ammo without Arizona ID. California laws are not enforceable in Arizona. He also said "I could be taking them across the state lines and that's a felony" Im well aware of California laws and would never transport it across state lines. The employee Hunter is a scumbag. could have called my friend to come down with Arizona ID but that's an inconvenience. If you don't have Arizona ID, AVOID THIS SHOP!!!! read more

Horrible customer service. I have bought several guns from them in the past, this time I had just moved, I had proof of residency from Adot and my registration for my car. However, they didn't take either because they felt "uncomfortable" with it. There's a reason this place is quickly losing business and gaining bad reviews because the staff is more worried about moving on to the next person than helping the one they are with. If I could give zero stars I would. I purchased an M1A Scout Squad rifle and a Kahr p380 pistol online to be sent to their store for pickup. When I went to the store to pick them up, the employee and I first looked at the Kahr p380, and it was in new condition without any scratches or signs of corrosion which fit the description and images posted online. After that the employee brought out the M1A. When he opened the case I immediately noticed the severe scratches on it. There were scratches all over it. I could easily see it from a distance even with the horrible lighting on that side of their store. Not only that, but there were signs of corrosion on the outside and inside of the muzzle. I asked the employee if he had another one in stock because I was not satisfied with the condition of the rifle, as it was not in the condition as described online or in the condition of the pictures that were posted online. I paid for a new rifle in new condition like it was described matching the pictures that were posted. I bought both guns online to send from their warehouse to their store which requires you to pay for the gun before it gets shipped to their store. The pictures on the website did not represent the condition of the rifle I was given. The pictures online showed the rifle in immaculate condition. I paid online, so I didn't get to see it before buying it except for the pictures that were shown online. I asked the employee if he could at least do a discount since he did not have another one in stock. I really just wanted a new rifle in new condition as it was described on their website. I am more of a collector now because I'm disabled. The employee said he was going to go get a manager to see if there was anything they could do. The man who the employee told me was a manager was named Conner. I had to read it off his name tag, because Conner at no point introduced himself to me. Both the employee and Conner took my rifle into the back for about 5 minutes, then came back out. Conner then looked at me with this stern look and said "what would you like to do"? I said I'd like to get a different rifle without the scratches and corrosion. He looked at it and said "you're going to get scratches on this with regular use anyways unless you're a collector. These things are just a workhorse. The corrosion you're describing is just oxidation and happens anytime you shoot a rifle." I have spent a lot of my years shooting as a hobby and fired tens of thousands of rounds, and never had this happen to any of my rifles. He then said "All you have to do is wipe it down with some cleaner." I reiterated that I was not satisfied with the condition of the rifle because that is not what was described online, nor did it look anything like the photos. The employee said they didn't have any other rifle in the configuration I ordered, and that it was a special order, so they didn't have any extra stock. I expected to be offered a discount, a coupon, or even a gift card to try to make things right. I suggested that I would at least like to get a discount or something to make things right, and Conner replied "there is nothing I can do for you since you already bought the rifle." I then called the shops phone number and explained my issue to Blake, and he asked who I dealt with at the store. I told him that I dealt with the manager named Conner. Blake then told me that there is several employees there named Conner, but not one of them are managers. Before picking up the guns I had ordered, I also planned to buy another gun from Tombstone that same day. Unlike the two other guns that were only available online and located at their warehouse, the third gun I was to purchase was in stock at their store, so I decided that I would buy that while I was at the store picking up my other purchases. The gun I planned to buy that same day is called the Springfield Echelon. Tombstone Tactical had it in stock at the store, and on sale for $578.99 in the configuration I wanted. I planned to purchase the Echelon from Tombstone after picking up the other two guns I ordered online, but considering the experience I had with them, the rifle, and their reluctance to make things right, I left the store without purchasing the Echelon. I hope they can make things right because I would like to continue doing business with them. If the manager corresponds to the email I sent them, I will consider doing business with them again and adjust this review accordingly. read more

Overall this is a good gun shop. Lots of accessories and good ammo selection (now that the riots and Covid BS are gone), all at average industry prices. The gun selection I tend to notice caters more to the higher-end pistols, rifles, etc, but you can still find average pistols (ie M&P). Ive had 2 guns shipped to this FFL and didnt have any issues. In fact the only issues I ever had was standing outside for 3 hours on a 107 degree day waiting for my turn to enter into the store during Covid's height. They've since moved into the MCM-looking building next door, I havent had a chance to visit them since the move, but I cant wait. read more

I have bought several guns from them, best price on the market, shipped within 2 or 3 days free shipping, but the sales staff very unfriendly, why are you purchasing with a sales person, used the internet, they don't realize that a customer that calls in to make a purchase is what keeps them in business, management should step in and change the sales staff attitude. Ordered a used pistol with a good price that said in stock. After getting lackluster communication from them on receiving my FFL information, i got more disappointing news. I was emailed after i reached out to see what the status of the order was and was told that it was in stock at a warehouse and it had to be brought to them just so they could ship it to me. In stock means you have it and once you have my FFL it should be on the way to me, not stop at your store first. Very frustrated as they were quick to take my money but are now taking there time playing shipping games. I live in a state that has up to 10 day waiting period once it shows up at my FFL. I would save the trouble and just find a gun shop that has what your looking for in stock so you don't have to experience this. read more

Several customers came after me and were helped first even though I was standing at the counter for a while. However, I caught Andy's attention and he wrapped up what he was doing and helped me out. My wife purchased her 2nd handgun online and first AR pistol. They finally get to the store 2 weeks later and she goes in by herself to pick them and the guy helping her is very rude and threatens to cancel her order when she forgot what caliber the firearms were. I know you guys deal with a lot of people who know their stuff but sometimes you have people who are still learning so maybe grow up a little and treat women a little better in your store. But this isn't the first issue we have had with this location so we will not be coming back and I warn anyone who wants to give them a try. Ordered a lower parts kit 3-20-20. I completely understand being backed up due to high demands, I get that. What I don't get is that it has almost been 2 months and I haven't even gotten a reply to two emails that I've sent. If i would have gotten any sort of reply or update, i would have been patient, but this is ridiculous. I just want to cancel my order that this point. Nobody is answering the phones and nobody is responding to emails. If someone from tombstone is reading this please just cancel Order ID 373409 and refund my money. My ups delivery notification said they delivered my weapon a week ago and I still haven't received a call from this company letting me know I can pick up my weapons . I didn't see my order so I called to check status the lady told me the rifle was there and ready to be picked up so I drove 30 minutes to pick it up just for them to say it wasn't there. I've been coming here for several years now. They've always been busy but they used to be able to get people in and out fairly quickly. The last couple of times I've been here it's wait in line for 30 mins to buy a box of ammo and even longer if you want to buy a gun. They've definitely outgrown their current location and need to hire more staff/registers. This place is the best place to buy magazines and guns. They also have ammo that is fairly priced. But the people that work here are the real reason to go. Everyone there knows so much about guns and the products they sell. I have had many half hour long conversations with staff there discussing different items I am thinking of buying. Their new location is even bigger and has more stuff. Yes, sometimes it's busy..... that's because it's the best gun store around. If you don't have a lot of time, order ahead and they will have it waiting for you. I do this many times because their website has more products than the store. Great staff with lots of knowledge. My only complaint ever would've been the lack of space, but that has since been resolved after moving next door into a larger space. Go here for all my local firearm related needs and haven't had an issue yet. I've delt with customer service over phone, staff in person and discussed/asked many things I did not know and they've always been more than helpful. Always great service! I've interacted with a few people here (most notably Malcolm) and they are all very courteous. What I also like is how they never pressure you to buy more than what you went in for. I've been to places where the employees will try to talk you into buying something more expensive or other products you might not need or want. They also have an incredible selection of firearms and accessories. Some of the items on their website have to be shipped. My only minor request is that they update the website to include an ETA for their products. The good thing is you can always contact them by phone or email for a status update. They have one of the best facilities in town and the best inventories. They also have some of the best prices in town. I say this as somebody who spends thousands a year in different stores. My only complaint would be that I wish that their entire staff focused on customer service. There are some good employees here that have very good attitudes, unfortunately, there are some employees that Act very annoyed to be dealing with customers or answer questions. Forgive me, but I'm from a generation where you should put on a smile if you work for Petsmart or if you are a janitor or you should just go home and not work because bad attitudes in the workforce projects onto the customer and they take that throughout their day. If they would work on some of the employees, which is roughly, half of them, who have bad attitudes, it would easily be a five-star place.
