Being new to Arizona I happened across this store by driving by. I noticed the sign stating "CCW Classes" I signed up not knowing that this is not necessary in AZ. Never the less I took the class mainly to learn about AZ gun laws. I have held a CCW permit in another state for many years, and understand most of these things. But not in AZ. The instructor very early in the class stated that "due to his lack of education on Arizona Revised Statutes he would interpret them for us" what a joke that was! This individual will probably get somebody in serious trouble!!!! If you are looking for a firearms education, go elsewhere. If you are proficient in firearms then you most likely don't need this class. Read the ARS online and get the truth! He even admitted that he witnessed an assault of a woman outside of that store, and did nothing other than call the police. As far as the retail side, I have mixed feelings. If you are an "outsider" then the service can be a bit slow. (Unless they aren't busy) I believe that the owner is probably OK, but some of the staff is lacking on people skills and firearms education....I very rarely post reviews on anything, but this experience truly motivated me to respond....Lee. apparently the "so called owner has reached out to me. I used to only come to Randalls. I'm now at the point where I may never go again. Twice this week I have tried driving there straight from work. When I pull into the plaza, the "Open" light is on and there is 5-10 minutes before close. I only need ammo. On both occasions the door was already locked and the staff just stared at me like they must hate making sales. I obviously didnt come to browse twice in a week. This place is pretty legit. Good CCW classes. They have a legalities class that goes more in-depth into civil and penal codes that is supposed to be lead by a lawyer...will update review after taking that course. Only downside is no discounts on multiple simultaneous transfers and they are $30 bucks a pop which I think is about ten bucks too high. Nice staff, decent selection. read more

So I decided to get a rifle I purchased online delivered to this business. Never been here and thought it was a good excuse to go in and check out what they have to offer. Rifle got delivered at about 2 and I show up at 4:30 to do my transfer. The guy who's the paper pusher there rudely stated "did we call you to tell you it's ready to be picked up". They had to receive it in their bound book which takes all of 5 minutes. Guy said I'll call you when I receive it so you can pick it up. Cool, I never received a call from these people. I had to call and ask them if it's ready. I get there once again greeted with "did we call you for your pick up". Like no I had to call you to see if it's ready a full 24 hours after delivery. Sitting there waiting for background to go through and realized how idiotic these people are. Saying a century build AK with CAST trunnions is better than a Poland parts kit built by PSA. First of all PSA has never built AKs with Poland parts kit. FB Radom from Poland is one of the last military contracted AK manufactures. Maybe they were trying to talk shit about my 1979 Romanian all parts matching kit built by PSA? Who knows. I guess they offer classes I personally would steer clear of getting taught by these people. If you're new to firearms, or some chad stay away from these plebs that have to clue what they are talking about. I went here on Friday, July 8th to purchase a new carry piece. I took with me a pocket semi auto that I had never fired or carried. Nine years ago I paid over $600 for it. Similar models in good to excellent condition are priced at $500+ on GB. Tactical Studio offered me $80 as a trade! This was insulting, and I almost walked out. I chose to stay and do business with them because, in every other way, they were friendly and respectful. However, I do not recommend taking anything to them to trade. If they had simply declined my trade offer, I would not have felt so insulted. While their prices seem to be competitive, I will think twice before doing business with them in the future. read more

So far I don't like what I've heard over the phone. Anytime you order a firearm over the internet it has to go to A Licensed FFL dealer. There was no number attached to my account since I bout it online as a guest. (Back story). So I get an email from Fedex that my firearm came in. I call and ask if it's there. The guy responds did someone call you and tell you it was. I reply no. He says then it's not here. Like are you serious. I'm calling because someone had to sign for it and I can see the signature. I bought my Conceal and Cary gun from these guys. I called looking for a specific firearm and they had it $20 cheaper than Cabalas. The store is really hard to find and in what looks like a rough area of town. The first time I visited the store I felt out of place and a little not wanted. The staff didn't seem to be interested in helping me out and even scolded me for releasing the slide on a gun so that it slammed shut. What ever man. The next time that I came in the owner was there and helped me find the gun that I was looking for. He gave me some tips on a good CCW course and even threw in some Bullets for a discount. wink wink... The owner was awesome and made my experience great. Great Store. Very friendly and knowledgeable.. I was looking to purchase my first firearm (Ruger P95) Randalls and Cabelas were the only two stores in the valley that had it in stock. Randalls was $20 cheaper than Cabelas too. I drive by the store everyday and truthfully was kind of hesitant of purchasing a gun for there. When i went inside the staff was very friendly and outgoing. Even though i knew nothing about firearms they still treated me with respect regardless of my young age and lack of knowledge. They showed me how to field strip the gun before purchasing. Answered all my law/legal questions i had as I'm new to Arizona (from Boston) so the laws are very different. Explained what shooting techniques i should be practicing and what the best way is too carry concealed as i was interested in how to. They even said if i have any issues with my firearm to bring it back as they stand behind the products they sell 100%.. I just came from a horrible experience at C2 Tactical in Tempe and found this oasis just a few blocks from my home. Granted the bar wasn't set too high after C2, however, these people really know guns and customer service. I researched the Beretta Nano 9 so I knew what I wanted and Harland ordered it for me and I had it in a few days. Upon picking it up Don took it apart and explained the workings to me. I had been carrying an S&W .38 snub nose revolver which was just point and shoot but I wanted something lighter and with less recoil. Like replacing a pitbull with a doberman.
