Cave Creek Guns is operated by two of the best gun guys you'll ever meet or do business with. Beyond highly knowledgeable and professional, George and Jeff put quality and customer service above all. The creator and owner of the world famous BTE (Battle Tested Equipment) is the George behind Cave Creek Guns. You'll never find a better built AR platform. Jeff brings his experience with the collectible and classics. Not only the best gun store in Arizona, I would contest the best in the WORLD! read more

Over the top.....5 star plus. Best service and prices would recommend over others I've used in the past.

George and his staff know their stuff! They were very helpful and answered all my questions and concerns. They have a wide selection of firearms. Will definitely be back for all our gun needs! read more

Great staff and service! They will spend the time with you to make sure your purchase is the best choice for you.

Stripped a screw on my pistol and brought it here to have it removed. The staff was very friendly and we discussed how I got into this situation. I was expecting much longer of a wait to have my problem fixed, but it was ready to be picked up the next day. Very good price to fix my screw up. I will absolutely return for any gunsmithing needs I may have and will recommend the shop to anyone and everyone I know that needs a gunsmith. read more

Customer service! Definitely customer service!! These guys have never met a frown they didn't like.

Shop is clean and well organized. I had a firearm sent here from an online purchase and the pickup was quick and easy. The shop had a unique variety of firearms for sale and I will definitely be going in again to shop their selection read more

I am a new gun owner and I was surprised at how loyal gun owners are to their LGS, or local gun store. I've been to several gun stores in north Phoenix but they all seemed cold and distant, not caring if you bought anything or not, and certainly not caring if you had any clue about what you were buying. Jeff is the go-to guy there at CCG, always willing to help a customer. When he sensed I was new at all this he took the time to explain things to me, and helped me understand my options. Cave Creek Guns is in the same set-back strip mall where a familiar paint store has its large sign. I'll be back, and I highly recommend them. read more

I was at the range a couple days ago with my Glock 17 and I wound up getting a live cartridge stuck backwards in the barrel. I racked the slide a couple of times hoping that it would drop out on its own, but that didn't work. Now it's a major problem, not to mention the imminent danger. I called around some local gunsmiths and found the guys at Cave Creek Guns to see if they could fix this. George (the owner) said no problem, come on by and he'll take a look. I met with George and the staff, and everyone were very friendly and helpful. George went back to the shop and in about a minute or so he came back out with my gun like new. I would've paid him any amount to fix this, but he said don't worry about it! Cave Creek Guns is a great shop, very, very knowledgeable and cordial. Highly recommended. Thanks for your help!! read more

Was searching for some time for a particular and limited firearm (P229 Legion SAO). Hesitated on calling Cave Creek Guns due to me living quite the distance from them. Cave Creek Guns ended up having it, so I made the trip. Upon arrival, I was helped by Bud. Even though I knew exactly what I wanted, Bud was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. There was another gentleman working as well, but I did not catch his name (owner/boss?). Anyway, Bud and Cave Creek Guns made me feel comfortable with their knowledge and customer service. I ended up leaving with more than I originally came in for too, thanks to Buds help. While their shop is not the largest, they do have a selection that could accommodate everyone (entry level to high end). They even had ammo stocked in these crazy times! I highly recommend Cave Creek Guns to the point that while I live in East Mesa, I will be making the trek to Cave Creek for future purchases. Thanks Bud and Cave Creek Guns! read more

I am old guy , 77, and had a slight problem with my 40 something year old S&W snub nose. They were outstanding and understanding. I would go back if I ever needed assistance with a firearm again. read more

More of a tactical store and not the best supply for hunting supplies. Not the best fit for me.

These guys were awesome! The store is clean and they had exactly what I was looking for. They're also really knowledgeable and will answer any questions about your firearm that you might have. They also had a great selection of guns (if you're looking for a Mosin, you better hurry down). Definitely one of the best gun store experiences I've had! read more

I spent a bunch of money on a raffle for a G19 and every time I called to get an update these dudes kept ducking and dodging me. Never again will I ever go back! read more

I needed some TruGlo Night Sights installed on my G19 Gen 4. So I looked up the tools and steps necessary to do the change up. Tools, too many to list (and pricey) and steps seems a bit tedious especially if you don't have the right tools. So I decided to look up a GunSmith. And I'm glad I did. Found these gentlemen on Yelp. Not only did install the sights same day with a few hours but the price so ridiculously low that I won't even mention it. Definitely recommend and will be back for future services and purchases. read more

George swapped out the dust cover on my ar. Friendly and quick turnaround. Would definitely continue to shop and do business here again read more

I walked into this store in November of 2020 with my family with the intent to look at some guns, and within a 5 minute period, an employee who was handling a gun behind the counter had pointed it directly at a number of us, numerous times while carelessly showing it to another customer. The lack of regard for safety was absurd and we couldn't believe it was happening. Both a male and female employee did this while showing weapons to customers. We left and will not be returning. read more

Great people. Walked in with a jammed round. The round was stuck a week or so after tinkering and in all honestly, was too uneasy / uncomfortable to continue to try to fix myself. A man that worked there took my pistol to the back and came back out within a few seconds. Round was unjammed, said that if I ever needed anything to come back. Asked what I could pay, said nothing, great people. Definitely will be back if I ever have something. read more

What a fantastic place! These guys are great! George one of the owners I assume helped me out today with my AR 15 mis firing issue I had with a rifle I didn't even buy from them! He helped with an o ring I took out and suggested it go back in & he had one in the shop. He then inspected the AR 15 & said the upper & lower fit was not as tight as should be from manufacture so he suggested if still having FTF ammo issues on all new ammo I should call the factory CSR & send the gun back since it is only 9 months old. George was great I just walked in today for help, never charged me for his time or the o ring. I plan on having them be my go to for all my gun issues! They are honest & very helpful! Very Nice store inside lots of guns & lots of other items for all of us to enjoy! I plan on spending my gun budget with these guys! Thank You Very Much! read more

I visited this shop for the first time today to inquire about their gun smith services and I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they could accommodate my request free of charge. Because of this, I decided to purchase a BTE free float hand guard that George had put on and ready to go in under 45 minutes. All said and done I paid much less than my research had made me anticipate and I am really glad I came in. Other shops would probably take one look at an inexperienced guy like me and see dollar signs. Not here. These guys were extremely helpful, friendly and honest. Very glad I met George, Jeff (I believe his name was) and the two awesome Corgis - Sausage and Pupperoni! Very pleasant experience and they've definitely earned my future business. read more

Had sights installed on my handgun. Great service and great price! Very friendly staff. Will be visiting again for all my firearm needs.

Went to a few places to see about getting a self ripped screw removed from a red dot. Another place quoted me $60-$80 and said if I wanted it done the same day it would be double. Called Cave Creek Guns and they quoted me $15-$20. Took it in and they removed the screw and remounted my red dot for $20 and I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend this place. read more

Pleasant staff and had their gunsmith work on my gun. Very reasonable pricing and great selection.

Very helpful with a recent purchase. Staff is very knowledgeable and efficient. Inventory is low but that's due to manufacturers backlogs from COVID. It has affected weapons and amp inventories everywhere. read more

Great gun shop. George and Jeff are top notch! Knowledgable, friendly and straight shooters (pun intended). Very nice and wide selection of AR15s in standard calibers and more such as .300 Blackout and 9mm, also some AR10s in .308. They also have a nice selection of pistols, shotguns, .22lr's and cowboy style guns and accessories of all kinds. I know who'll be getting my gun money now! read more

I was having, what I thought was, a problem loading my 12g shotgun. The firearm was new but never fired. I brought it to Cave Creek Guns and they took a look. Nothing was wrong I just need to close the action before loading shells. There was no charge for their help. I will be back when I need help or supplies. read more

I started a small project of replacing some parts on my AR over the weekend. Turns out I bit off a a little more than I could chew and did nothing but scratch the hell out of my buffer tube. My brother-in-law (also ex-military) recommended these guys. He said they're super nice guys, ex-military, and they know their stuff. Well, he did not steer me wrong. They're really nice guys. They acknowledge you when you walk in. Incredibly knowledgeable. Answered all my questions and were straight forward. Just all around good guys. It took George less than 10 minutes to do what I couldn't do all weekend. Thank you for your help today! I think I found my new favorite local gun shop! read more

Ok so I stopped by and spoke to Josh, very knowledgable. The next day I came by and asked Josh to put my 16" 300 BlkOut upper together for me. I brought the parts in and in no time he was done. He even cautioned me that the adjustable gas block that I purchased from a high end supplier is probably gonna cause issues. True to form he was right, 2 days later I was back, purchased one of their gas blocks and it worked like a charm. These guys have tons of knowledge, and now a sworn customer. Thank you man. read more
