You need to set up an appointment and he is not always available. $15 was posted on Bud's guns as the FFL price, and I was charged $20.

I bought a beautiful High Power clone for $200 less than Sportsman's and it's incredible. If you see a bad review, assume they got caught trying to break federal laws, such as buying a gun for someone else. They are a different kind of store. They let you touch and try out all the guns and if you need help, ask. They love dogs, are great to their customers and they have me as a customer for life. 4 years ago I called AmmoAz about their upcoming sale and an AR15 that they were losing money on. The owner spent 20 minutes explaining my options and talking to me about the gun. He earned a customer for life. I have since bought several "items" all for MUCH less than anywhere else. I have brought my dogs, even my Dane and have always had a great experience and gotten the best prices. The store's app with up to date ammo availability and pricing is just another bonus. To sum it up, my 15 year old daughter asked me when she could apply to work there. Great store. Great people. Great selec

CASEY IS AMAZING!!!! Super patient…read more Customer service amazing. I hope someone from management is reading this. I came here with my elderly father who is a gun collector and retired military. He is getting old so we needed someone with patience. My father spent over $4000 on 3 firearms. The gentlemen who helped us 3 weeks ago. ( will not mention names ) was nothing like Casey We are business owners ourselves and understand one thing. It's never the place. It's always the people Thank you Casey!!! WE APPRECIATE YOU!!! Father and son customers. Will be back to see Casey again.

I…read morebought a firearm and ammunition, paid in full, and waited in my car making calls, waiting for my background check. What nobody told me clearly was that the expected 6-7 day delay wasnt about NICS. It was the store. Manager guy decided my driver's license was unacceptable because it shows my middle initial rather than my full middle name. Not my passport card, not my Level One fingerprint clearance card, not property records confirming I own my home, not federal documentation with my full name that I located and drove in the next day. I spent a day chasing paperwork under the impression I was waiting on a federal check. When I finally asked the manager directly whether a spelled-out middle name on a driver's license is legally required, he told me repeatedly that it was the law. (It isn't. Federal regulations require a valid government photo ID; nothing requires a middle name spelled out on it, and Arizona adds no such rule. He then acknowledged this was store approval, and volunteered that not all stores would put me through it (apparently this was as a point of pride). With no firm timeline and an unresolved safety problem at home, I asked for a refund on merchandise I had paid for and never received. I was told store policy meant they'd keep $68. It took roughly fifteen minutes of argument to get my own money back in full -- money the store was holding for a product it had decided not to give me. He actually seemed to enjoy the whole thing, like mean girl bureaucrats or the paperwork fiends in the movie Brazil. (The late 20s salesman with the moustache was professional, knowledgeable and informative and helped me with concerns about reducing the possibility of a stray bullet entering my neighbors home. I have zero complaints there). The manager with the long wispy beard couldn't even pretend to not take delight in distressing a customer - and it started before I'd spoken a word to him. He invented a problem, maybe thinking the $68 for nothing was a bigger profit, or just to cause purposeless problems when I'd just had a home invasion. If you want to buy a real '60s Soviet style experience and leave empty handed, you'll find it at Tombstone Tactical - where the 2nd amendment is just a suggestion.

Sure, they get busy but that's because they are doing something right. If you go on a Saturday, you should expect more people. I asked an employee if there was an end-cap of 9mm ammunition and he told me that there wasn't. I commented that their shelves had that empty Covid look, and he told me that they hadn't restocked the shelves yet. I wiped the dusty metal shelf, showed him the significant dust my hand picked up, and looked him in the eye. He knew he'd been caught lying, but insisted that morning deliveries hadn't been put out.yet. I commented that he should wear a mask if there was that much dust in their ventilation. Going to the gun counter, there was one employee behind the counter and more than a dozen people waiting to be helped. There is premium ammunition behind the counter, but it's far enough away that you can't read the brand name. Judging by the number of people waiting to be helped, I'm not standing idly for an hour or two to ask what ammunition brands they have. Nowhere else in the store is there 14-15 people waiting to be helped -- and there's inky two sales clerks working the firearms counter. You'd think that store management would add people in firearm sales, as I've had precisely the same experience of actually waiting more than an hour to find out if they carry a certain product needed the next day at a training event. I have no idea what this store is doing. Neither do they.
