I used Lone Wolf for a transfer. They were friendly and efficient! Some of their prices in the store seemed high but they have bills to pay.

I'd been looking for a specific pew pew for a while, and discovered I could get it here for the online cost elsewhere. My boyfriend and I went it and found what we were looking for quickly and then they got started on the paperwork. Everything went smoothly and I left with my purchase and I even got a store brand t-shirt. read more

They have been around for a very long time & from what I've seen they have the best prices in the valley, possibly the state. Only stupid question is the one you don't ask. read more

Avoid this place if you value good customer service. The store is run by two bitter old men who seem like they hate being there--and hate their customers even more. They're blunt to the point of being rude and make no effort to be helpful. The atmosphere is unwelcoming, and I felt uncomfortable the entire time I was in the store. Plenty of other ammo shops out there with better service--don't waste your time here. read more

Excellent service great prices very hard to beat these small local companies are the way to shop stay out of the big box stores and get service and nice people that are fun to deal with read more

Lone Wolf Trading Company is IMHO the best gun store in the West Valley. The guys there are knowledgeable, personable and trustworthy. They were out of stock on the rifle I was interested in, but they assured me that they were expecting more the next week. They happily took my name, number and promised they'd call me when the rifle was restocked. They kept their word, I saved some money vs. other stores prices. Can't expect better service than that. read more

I need to start by stating a fact that (Renee Phillips) is an ignorant person! Giving Lone Wolf the review you did and not knowing if this person/lady was actually employed there, is an ignorant review. Andre(Owner) and Jaime(hope I spelled correctly)have been nothing short of EXCELLENT in their customer service, knowledge and overall experience with them. My fiance bought me an AR-15 for Father;s Day and did not know what was needed. I called Andre about this and he instantly offered me an upgrade with just a couple more $, NOW THIS IS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Now if I can just get him to come down a Little, we will be ecstatic, ha ha. I will not buy another weapon, ammo, etc... without visiting Lone Wolf 1st. Thanks guys and sorry abut some people (Renee Phillips) in general that can actually review your company without the facts. Thanks again. Tom Ginn and Jennifer Gilbert read more

The employees here super straight forward and to the point no "BS" you when it comes to facts and opinions on specific models or loads ... totally recommend them when it comes to ammo and knowledge as a whole read more

Had a firearm transferred to this store, was notified it was ready to be picked up. I go there to pick it up and was denied because my GOVERNMENT STATE ISSUED ARIZONA ID wasn't a drivers license. Last time I checked and bought a firearm I didn't need a license. The excuse was BECAUSE PEOPLE COME OVER FROM CALIFORNIA AND COLORADO AND GET FAKE IDS AND TRY TO BUY GUNS. Hello!!!!! Run my freakin background check, my id is issued from a government facility! Will be transferring it yet again to another store due to this bogus rule of the store. Your government issued state id isn't good enough........ UPDATE- Today we went back to get the firearm, they asked to bring tax information and other paperwork to prove residency. I'm pretty sure when they run the nics it will prove citizenship and approve. But I guess this place only does that for certain races. First time ever have we had a problem purchasing a firearm as law abiding American born citizens. It saddens me that a place would treat a US CITIZEN this way. We will never do business here again and will spread word on how we were treated. Along with reporting to the bbb. read more

I've been doing business here for years and have purchased 4 weapons from them. I'm not sure what the bad reviews are about. These are men in the truest sense. If you want delightful customer service try the cupcake shop down the street. That said, I know Andre, Mike, Jim and Jamie and once you take a sec to get to know them, they're actually pretty decent dudes who know firearms, period. My definition of great customer service? Well my last gun purchase turned out to be a bad gun. I won't mention the make because weapons from this maker are top of the line and my case is a rarity. Took it back to LW and Mike looked it over cleaned it and asked me to give it another try. We were hoping it was bad ammo. It failed me a second time on the range, so I took it back for the second time. Basically it was no questions asked, two days later I got a call saying my new replacement is in along with a couple boxes of ammo for my trouble. These are my go to guys. You can't beat the prices and if you want a little guy time and gun speak, take the time to get to know these dudes. read more

I'm not sure why this place has bad reviews. Was just roaming around and walked in and was greeted by the owner immediately. He was kind, and straight to the point. He helped myself and two others at once. I will definitely be back to support this local shop. Thank you for your service' read more

Very happy with this shop. Down to earth and no rushing to take a ticket to just get to the counter to be treated like just another customer like some gun shops ( big box type stores ) These guys treat you very well and take the time to talk to you. I would recommend this place if you are looking to purchase a firearm. The other day I got there about 10 mins before they open. And most all other stores make you wait out front until the clock hits the top of the hour. These guys opened the door and let me in ahead of opening. So I could look around and get out of the heat . read more

I've purchased many guns from Lone Wolf over the past few years, and I have to say that I find them absolutely wonderful: The staff is helpful, professional and polite. The prices are the lowest in town, period. The only reason I don't rank Lone Wolf as my favorite, but only second favorite gunstore, is that they don't really do trades - if you're looking to trade, you should probably look elsewhere; their business model seems to be more of a discount/wholesale model, used guns don't really seem to fit into that model. Other than that, I find them pretty darn perfect. The proprietor, Andre, is a wonderful individual of great integrity, with a big heart, and he's absolutely hilarious; if you have some time ask his opinion on the subject of marriage, and enjoy the (lenghty) response - It'll be one of the funniest things you'll ever hear:) As with any other gunstore, you should know some basic etiquette: Don't be rude, don't be pushy, and treat the employees as you'd like to be treated; with respect. Highly recommended! read more

This place has in equal parts, bad vibe and attitude. I went in asking If they can process a Gun Broker purchase and checking their pistol inventory. Needless to say, after getting an old trucker-looking woman to get off a stool, I found the price was fair, but they had no e-mail, and said the seller needed to fax his form. Who uses faxes besides maybe healthcare? There was also an older skinny trucker-looking guy there who just sat there glaring, very strange. I found a FFL Provider for 10 less and no attitude. Gun prices are fair, but I won't buy from these weirdos. read more

Don't come here if you're any color besides white. I came in there early one Sunday, ready to purchase and everything. They had just been open for not even an hour. I was thee only customer in the store. I give some guy wearing glasses and a white mustache some info on myself and why I'm purchasing so he can have a better idea what I'm lookin for. I told him what area I stay in and I topically am around and he goes off and has the nerve to say "OoooOoOo such a great neighborhood" with the most sarcastic voice I've heard in a minute. First of all that's my home you're talking about. 2nd that's disrespectful especially if I'm trying to buy something from your store. That's my community you're talking about also.. It's not the best but who are you to judge. Also forgot to mention I'm a proud Hispanic male and I look the part. I didn't realize the prejudice till I actually left after he denied to sell me a gun because I apparently didn't qualify. It didn't make sense and I even went out of my way to tell him about that situation. Still denied to sell me a gun. He didn't even bother running my background. Just denied me.. as I walked to my truck the more I realized how much bs this actually was. So I fact checked him, read the law, asked a buddy who's a veteran and he even went out of his way to ask his uncle in the Police department and all said I'd be able to check out and that the man at the store was wrong. I even called another store and told them the situation and also said I should have no problems and that he had no idea why they'd even deny me. Not to mention I have buddies with similar situations as I and still where able to purchase a gun (their white) I'm 100 sure there prejudice goin on in there but before any of you proud boys come in here and say how it wasn't prejudice and I didn't catch them in a good day. I'm not the only one who's said this about them and none the less if they wanna run a gun store at least know your laws too. Basically denied me the service to be able protect myself and my family. read more

Best place to go for good prices I've been going there since they were down the road , keep up the good work.

Customer service has really been better.. There a good shop for anything you need in the ar15 platform.

I did a purchase through Davidson's (gallery of guns) via Lone Wolf. These guys were great. I was tracking the package and got a call from Lone Wolf before the text email delivery confirmation was sent. Great service. The transaction was fine and everyone could not have been nicer. The store is well stocked. I would be happy to use these guys again. read more

I've heard the rumors about the bad customer service but still gave them the benefit of the doubt. Well the rumors were true not only was the service slow but I wasn't acknowledged and when they finally did come around they didn't answer my question nevertheless seemed like they were interested in helping me. My business didn't seem wanted and that's a shame because that's a big loss for them. Now I see why they have a bad reputation, I will not recommend this place to my friends or family. read more

The store has excellent prices and unlike many shops, they are happy to accept transfers from other dealers and O-O-S individuals. While they do not carry a wide variety of stuff [few places do any more due to the amount of capital it ties up in unsold inventory], you can order online or have them get what you want. Transfer fees are a single flat rate. They are limited only by their Title I license. No SBS, SBR, suppressors, etc. read more

Ignore Trevor ... I was there yesterday and waited just like everyone else for the weapon I purchased the day before but I'll get into that. Today is March 21, 2020 and shops like this all over the valley have been out of EVERYTHING for nearly a week if not longer due to the virus scare... 60-80 patrons with 3 staff and the FBI on the line holding for a stack of background checks. I made my first visit to Lone Wolf two weeks ago (on the recommendation of a good buddy) for ammunition. The same exceptional staff who were there then were there all this week as well. I almost left with two new noise makers (then) and REGRET now that I didn't then. While the governments background check hotline is slammed at peak volume (with witnessed hour and a half wait times for 5 minutes of phone time) so the process is jammed up. So ignore ignorant Trevor. Why I am leaving my review is simple. Integrity. This is a small business that serves this valley with integrity. They kept their word to me- called me when my name came up for the noise maker they expected to receive. I stood in line two other times just to ask a question. Took about 40-50 minutes. In fact, I near annoyed the shite out of these guys but they delivered the utmost, highly professional, highly patient, exceptional customer service while (still) keeping prices in tact to their normal excellent prices in this time of uncertainty. A toast- to Mike, Andre, and Christopher. You guys are true to your reputation which is why I'll only shop with Lone Wolf from here on out! Thank you. read more

I have been a customer for almost 20 years. Customer service is a bit of a mixed bag. A couple of their employees are top notch. A couple could stand some customer service training. They are competitively priced and many times the most affordable place to buy a handgun. I wouldn't buy a rifle, shotgun, or ammo there because for some reason they charge more than average on those items. Makes no sense. They are also a great place to do an FFL transfer. read more

I have purchased a rifle through Lone Star in 2016 and the experience was ok at best then. Now I just purchased a gun in Nevada so I thought of using them to receive it here. I called... someone answered with just a Hello... no company name no nothing... He sounded like I woke him up... I explained what I wanted and he said we received guns from that dealer before so just give them our information. I called the place in Nevada and they said give us something... Business Card at least. Called back and got the same guy... Still just a hello and he definitely was not awake yet... He said they have no email so I asked if he can text me a pic of their business card... He agreed to do that and I gave him my phone number... that was hours ago! Thank you Lone Star... I am done with you. My new gun will come through Shooter's World. I looked through the reviews.. I looks like it is common for them to offer lousy or no customer service. read more

Finally was ready to buy my new hand gun, bought many firearms from Lone Wolf. Their customer service skill was never good, but I ignored it because the price was good. I finally had enough when I went last time, their two staffs at the counter one was with a customer and the other was eating a donut. I walked up to the donut eater and said good morning. He gave a huff and treated me if I was disturbing him. They were sold out of the gun I wanted and just told me told me they might get some later. So I left and found Tombstone Tactical, paid a little but a hell a lot better customer service. read more

I find that people who excuse poor customer service because of the product being sold are misguided. I don't care what you're selling, if you're acting like a jerk without cause, you're just a jerk and don't deserve my business. I went in last week to inquire about some firearms and was pretty much ignored until I made a point of asking for service and was treated like it was a huge hassle to answer some questions and show me some guns. If you don't want my business, just say you're not interested and save us both some time and aggravation. I'm more than happy to spend my money elsewhere and get treated like a customer instead of an annoyance. read more

I read some of the negative reviews and laugh. Maybe you need a hug, tea and crumpets too when you are walking in. Maybe a bottle of fresh spring water too from Athena too. I was in here and purchased a mini 14 magazine Saturday. The prices are good. People complain about the service, but who cares. You are willing to spend 15 percent more at another place because the guy did not say hi it is your money. Me I do not care if they say hi. If I can save 30-40 dollars I will. I am not buying a gun from them because we are going to take a windy walk. I buy a gun or other things there because they are ultra price competitive. This is a great place to stop in and see what they have. They are priced really well. If they do not have something I am sure they can order it too. read more

This place has terrible customer service. I went in there this morning to purchase a XDM .45 Cal. After waiting at counter for over 5 mins with one of the employees siting right in front of me reading a newspaper. I finally interrupted his newspaper reading for some assistant with the gun and was told "I hate XDM's so I couldn't tell you anything about it". Now everyone has their personal opinion but I wasn't asking for his, I just wanted to see the gun I was going to purchase. He was very rude and didn't seem to care about my business therefor I left and purchased the gun down the road at Randall's. read more
