As I walk around the corner, a gentleman pushing a broom welcomed me and asked if he could help. I think he must have been a manager because he was advising the young man behind the customer service counter on his schedule. Two stars for the friendly staff who rang us up, directed us towards the bathroom, and offered to help in the camping section. Other than that, this place is not the happy place it used to be. Even the fish in the tank seem sadder.

First of all, I have only done a few reviews in my entire life, but I felt compelled to do this one…read morebecause of the great experience I had at DK Defense! I felt that the staff actually talked WITH me, not at me. There was no pressure to buy "the flavor of the month". They answered all of my questions (and boy did I have plenty) they offered great advice, and they were very patient, knowledgeable and friendly. Even though they have a great selection on site, the firearm I ended up selecting was not in stock at the time, so they ordered it for me and it only took a few days to come in. The prices are really competitive and were actually less than the big discount sporting goods stores. In fact, their ammo prices and accessories were actually super competitive too and they have a great selection. I will be a repeat customer as this is now my go-to local firearm and ammo store. Please go there and see what I mean. You won't be disappointed and I am sure you will be as happy as I am.

In addition, there was a technical modification required that they did very quickly at a nominal fee. I've probably bought four Gun since then from Dk defense all four were priced lower than the big supplier in Tennessee. They had to order Gun. I still got it quicker than I would've if I submitted an online order and I know a lot of people go go online for what they perceived to be a cheaper price for guns only to discover they could've gotten the gun 2 to 5% cheap cheaper at at Dk Defense and save by not having pay the FFL transfer fee. Krista and Dan are great to deal, very friendly very knowledgeable. Calling on DK is like visiting friends. I consider DK my one stop gun shop in the valley.

If you see a bad review, assume they got caught trying to break federal laws, such as buying a gun for someone else. They are a different kind of store. They let you touch and try out all the guns and if you need help, ask. They love dogs, are great to their customers and they have me as a customer for life. 4 years ago I called AmmoAz about their upcoming sale and an AR15 that they were losing money on. The owner spent 20 minutes explaining my options and talking to me about the gun. He earned a customer for life. I have since bought several "items" all for MUCH less than anywhere else. I have brought my dogs, even my Dane and have always had a great experience and gotten the best prices. The store's app with up to date ammo availability and pricing is just another bonus. To sum it up, my 15 year old daughter asked me when she could apply to work there. Great store. Great people. Great selec

So I went to tombstone tactical and was immediately greeted and felt a lot more welcome. When I asked about the same flick, they found it on their website right away and had it delivered within a week. Super friendly employees and a lot nicer when answering my questions, not monotone and expressionless like ammo az guys.

Outside of who I think was the owner, the staff members were not friendly. One other issue is the location, and parking dilemmas with the location. It's in the same general area as the Denny's and UPS Store. The lot is SMALL, and a pain to get in and out of.
