The service is almost always good and the guy that built the bike when I bought it was really cool, helpful, and informative. I can't say the prices are always great, but what place has that? I will say they always have deals and good sales and so the pricing is pretty good. They have a large selection and the place is really big so there's usually many of each item in stock. As I walk around the corner, a gentleman pushing a broom welcomed me and asked if he could help. I think he must have been a manager because he was advising the young man behind the customer service counter on his schedule. I get that football season is almost over, but still...prices were so bomb. They normally do a 10% military discount also but only on regular prices items. In the footwear department, the associate was also very helpful and quickly assisted me with getting the correct boot size and box. Unfortunately, our experience changed at checkout. The cashier, an older woman, had a noticeably different attitude. I won't go into every detail, but her tone came across as sarcastic and unwelcoming. Despite being polite and respectful throughout the interaction, it felt like she wanted to rush us out. My wife and I both left feeling uncomfortable, and we couldn't help but feel that the treatment may have been influenced by our ethnicity. That's not something I take lightly, but the difference in behavior was hard to ignore. I'm sharing this feedback for management because the front-end experience matters just as much as the rest of the store. I hope more attention is given to how customers are treated at checkout so others don't leave feeling the same way we did.
