Doug was our trainer. He was patient in teaching us how to use Shot Gun and a Glock. He was nice. I appreciated his knowledge , no dumb questions was a dumb one. Scott is the manager and gave us info on what's best for newcomers. Tucker and Carlos closed us out in the end. Pretty cool place and I liked learning there is another location in Mesa and Scottsdale as well! Wish there was one in the west valley too! read more

The staff are very rude and not inviting whatsoever, also the ammo is very over priced. Sad because they have a nice selection yet I will not return. read more

Prices are a little higher than other places. Had to buy their trash ammo for $30/50 9mm rds to rent a gun. Plus 1 lane + 3 targets = $86. It was a good experience with the exception of the double price ammo they require to rent a gun. I'll go there again but won't rent again. I had my own gun as well. read more

Honestly 0/10 experience, I would not recommend this place if it was free. Phone operators are 50/50 some are chill I will say but other are really rude. read more

Went in for a private lesson today. Enjoyed every second of it! Everybody was super nice and welcoming even though it was my first time. Price was super reasonable. I brought my own handgun but they had plenty to select from! G was my private instructor who was super thorough in taking care of me and making sure i had a firm grasp on the safety and how to shoot a gun! Would definitely go back and see him! read more

I like the facilities however I dislike their policy regarding ; 1.0, Waiver is way too strict and likely not enforceable. Also they should have you review the waiver before spending money on membership 2,0 . Charging $5 to if you hit cardboard backing and $50 for the carrier is outrageous 3. Ceilings are too low, Carriers should be mounted out of harms way. I shouldn't be reprimanded for hitting the floor when a I am shooting at a target purchased at C2 read more

Manager at the Tempe store is a real ass, their ammo prices are ridiculous, a very unpleasant experience I would never go back. Scottsdale gun club is the place to go. read more

5 Stars If you're looking for an instructor who not only knows his craft but also knows how to make the experience fun, safe, and highly educational, look no further than Nathan at C2 Tactical in Tempe My friends and I came in for a session, and from the moment we met Nathan, we knew we were in great hands. He was welcoming, patient, and had a way of explaining things that made them click instantly. Whether it was grip, stance, trigger control, or sight alignment, he broke it all down in a way that was easy to understand and then coached us through each step until we got it right. By the end of our session, our accuracy and confidence had improved drastically. We went from casual shooters to feeling like we had real skill, all thanks to his expert guidance and clear, calm teaching style. He made sure safety was the number one priority, while still keeping the vibe upbeat and engaging. It's rare to find someone who can make you better at something so quickly while making the whole process an absolute blast. Nathan did just that. We walked out not only with better aim, but with huge smiles on our faces. Nathan is the real deal knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely invested in helping you improve. If you're thinking about heading to C2 Tactical, do yourself a favor and book a session with him. You won't regret it! read more

C2 Tactical - The result after we zeroed out my sight - Gun/Rifle Ranges Near Me - Tempe, Arizona

I honestly don't love writing reviews like this, but I feel like someone may want a heads up on this... I went to C2 today to look for a new range that is closer to home. I shoot quite a bit, and I wanted to try it out, and maybe get a membership. Everything was fine up until I got on the range. The Range Safety Officer (RSO), Nate, was very rude. So much so that I packed up and left without even firing a shot. I'm not going to get into what was said or why, because it's not the point of this review. The point is that I felt disrespected by someone whose services I was paying for. I had half a mind to get a family plan so my wife could shoot at the range too. However, I cannot stand the thought of an RSO like Nate interacting with her. She has told me time and again that aggressive and disrespectful RSO's have made her not want to go shooting in the past. Nate drove away a potential customer today; I would rather drive the extra 15 minutes to the Scottsdale Gun Club than be spoken to the way I was spoke to today. read more

Tucker was knowledgeable and professional. reminded me why i was a repeat customer. The selection is broad and there is enough staff never a long wait for service. read more

It's been some time since I've been here. But Zev was very informative and welcoming that I immediately felt comfortable. Michael was our range officer and he made us feel safe and confident. Because of these 2 employees I will be returning more often. read more

Zev helped me out figure out that my buffer was potentially causing my malfunction. Nathan has always been above and beyond with service. He solved my friend's 10yr old Glock problems in less than half the range time. Also pointed me towards their selection of cans, walked me through the process of getting one, and how much it would cost me there. Great place and my new favorite indoor range. read more

Was a lot of fun for my friends birthday. Zev was helpful with teaching us the ropes!

Bored with my son so we decided to checkout c2 and get some range time in. The staff was very helpful, explaining the different types of pistol. To be honest this is my first time shooting a gun in an indoor range. Growing up we just went to the middle of the desert. Overall I had fun and my son had a blast. read more

The guys and gals at C2 are honestly some of the most helpful, knowledgeable and polite I've experienced at a range. At other ranges, in the past, it's been intimidating being a woman in a shooting environment but not at C2. Zev, G, Tanya, Lisa, Scott, Barb and others have not only helped me become a better shooter and build confidence but also learn how to feel 100% comfortable with my firearm. The staff are all friendly, welcoming faces each and every time I go in. Great team!! read more

Shout out Zev always helpful behind the counter and overall cool youngman some of the best staff in the business and all the staff is helpful. read more

Don't go to the C2 shooting range. They charge $25 which is high for one hour, most charge $15. They nickel and dime you for eyes, ears, Ammo and targets. And then halfway through the session they said I hit the equipment that holds a target and charge me $100 extra and kicked me out. I didn't see any damage. I will not return. read more

Took a lesson today at C2 in Tempe. Our instructor was Doug, and he was great. First time shooting, and his instruction was excellent, kept it simple without being condescending, yet very detailed. Going back for a second lesson next week. read more

My husband just took me for a lesson at C2 Tactical. I am completely new and totally naive to this world. I grew up with a lot of negative bias towards guns so I always just stayed away and basically thought "guns are awful and evil". But then I met my husband, who loved to hunt. And we have kids - who now love to hunt. Children have a way of changing your perception on things. And I realized I don't want to just stand by because of my nativity and miss out on experiences with my family. I'm so thankful my husband booked this lesson for me. Doug was amazing and very patient with how little I knew. He was detailed in his instruction and gave lots of good examples, feedback and analogies that helped me better understand the how and why behind things. I walked in very nervous and not sure I would like this at all - I also felt like there was a big "she doesn't belong here" neon sign flashing above my head and everyone would know I was clueless. The entire staff at C2 was friendly and helpful. Doug was AMAZING!! I've already texted a few friends to tell them to request a private lesson with him. And best of all... I'm excited to come back and go shooting!!! Here's my target - Doug had me targeting the number 7. My hubby says I did pretty good!! read more

G was amazing, was struggling to sight in my pistol but G helped me sight in my pistol and even helped me shoot better.

Horrible service. Brought my father here so he could buy a revolver. Goofies took forever to even acknowledge us in the store. I was also getting the stare down from an apparently lower IQ employee. Anyways, I drove my father to Arizona Firearms on University and they took good care of him. Zero staring, revolver at a good price, and no dimwits staff members. If you are a veteran... blow off C2 read more

Josh is very helpful and has great customer service. Every time we are in he greets us and makes sure we have everything we need.

The new management hates shooters. They're penalizing people for hitting a replaceable piece of cardboard. And they make it not very obvious that you pay $10 for each shot through the cardboard thinking maybe it's just $10 to replace the cardboard. No it is a penalty that they're applying to make extra money read more
