Poor customer service. I came in for the first time and looked around. I was eventually talking to one of the employees and discussing what I was kind of looking for. But after 3 minutes of talking with him he started to make jokes with his coworker. Eventually he was just talking to his coworkers and completely ignoring that I was there. I waited there for 5 minutes to see if he would still help me but he never bothered to acknowledge me. So I simply walked out silently. It was truly disrespectful and in no way to treat a customer. So I won't be returning there whatsoever. read more

Very kind service. Helped me recommend a great shotgun for my grandfather and an overall trustworthy place to get a firearm at. However said that the customer service was horrible is sensitive and shouldn't even go to a firearms store in the first place read more

Don't go here horrible/rude customer service didn't even acknowledge i was there cause they're faces were glued to there phones ask questions and get rude snarky responses old fat guy didn't even look up from his phone nor try to help take your money where you actually appreciated not here plus the place was nasty i drive past there everyday and it explains why they're parking lot is always empty read more

I took an old Winchester. That has been in my family for a while that I had no use for. I walked in no longer than two minutes. I was asked if I wanted to sell or pawn my rifle. I told him I would like to sell it and he asked me how much I wanted for it. I got a little less than I asked for, but I was happy because the gentleman was very polite and took care of me less than 10 minutes . I would definitely recommend this business read more

Ordered a pistol from the store and it never came in although they told me they ordered it twice, but still never came in. Also, I had to find this out on my own by calling them. They never bothered to call me. Wouldn't waste my time or money with customer service like that. read more

Good prices but don't let them work on your guns they put a 556 muzzle device on my 9mm. Then they over torqued my hand guard on my .556 and stripped the bolt. I'm lucky no one got hurt and learned my lesson don't let anyone touch your gun that isn't qualified. Had to order a new hand guard because of these fools. read more

Customer service is horrible. It was like pulling teeth to get information on my guns value or anything else. How much is it worth, I have no idea was the response. Is there someone here that may know, um maybe that guy, reluctantly goes and asks other guy. They look at it 5 min and low ball me. I do quick Google search to find that out. Come to find out from a friend who knows guns, it's worth more than twice as much as they told me and highly sought after gun. read more

Service was so amazing and they were really friendly and informative. The environment felt comforting and simple and organized. Background check went smoothly I bought a Mossberg shot gun and a smith and Wesson and the prices were really affordable I definitely will be back. read more

Great shop. Really helped us select the right firearm for my wife. Walked us through each option, the pros and cons, and never pushed a brand on us. In fact, their req was Cheaper than I would have guessed. Great place. read more

Brought a Remington 11-87 through GunBroker.com from this business. Not happy at all With their customer service. Turned out the stock on this shotgun was reworked for a youth or smaller person. The stock measures 11 1/2 inches in length when it should be 13 1/2 inches to fit an average male shooter. The description for the item I. GunBrocker.com makes no mention of the shortened stock! When I contacted this shop via GunBrocke about this problem, the return response was in essence, "It's your fault!". It seems I should have known the length of the stock was changed by the pictures Arizona Firearms provided. the is pretty much impossible. Buyer beware! Too bad there are people like this giving honest gunshots a bad name. I will be following up with GunBroker. read more

Was glad to come and get some cash for my handgun that I don't need, especially with reviews I've seen saying that they give great offers! But no. Offering me less than one third I payed for it. No thanks. I get it that you still have to re sell and make a profit but come on... read more

Huge price gouging going on. I walked in, looked around at firearms and ammo. Easily a 75% markup on standard market prices. I walked out and went somewhere else. Paid $340 less for an M&P 2.0 9mm read more

This place is cool, I usually just go in for ammo and always get great service. But this time one of the employees gave a smart a$$ remark when I asked a question about a specific firearm. Walked out a little discouraged for not being more knowledgeable on the firearm I showed interest in. Overall everyone else seems to be cool from my previous visits, but I'll look elsewhere if I have any questions on firearms I'm looking to purchase. For what it's worth I'd also like to add that they have a great inventory, Lots of options to choose from, very well stocked. read more

ZERO STARS if I could rate! 1st time there 60min drive . What a waste of time. Walked in the old man that was behind the counter was rude and seem to have an attitude.I went to trade in 2 firearm (not cheap stuff) from ONE firearm that was used. I ask to see gun that I was interested in and old man looked at me and said "it's right there " said with an attitude. It was behind glass lol. I have bought and sold nice guns. They try to low ball me with no shame as if I didn't know what I had. Zero customer service. Zero help. Old guy made me feel uncomfortable. Not a Friendly environment at all. read more

I went to Arizona Firearms to buy a gun. My boyfriend had call beforehand since he bought his handgun at the tempe location. He ask the type of gun I wanted and they said that they did have it and he asked if it is fine to purchase it even if he gets there a little before 3pm and they said yes that was fine. Once I got there, this kid greeted us and we told him we had called earlier and he showed us the gun. We told him that we are purchasing it. He said, to get my ID ready but my ID wasn't updated to my current address. He told me to get my water bill or to purchase the ID online. Once I got my water bill, he checked the clock and it was 2:50pm. Well, we are closing in 10 mins so you will have to come back on Monday at 10am sharp. His reason being that background checks can last up to an hour. But he did want my money because he offer for me to pay for it and pick it up Monday. I thought it was so rude, I worked in a retail store before and the policy is that you can close them store once all the customers leave happy! But whatever, we ended up going to Healy in Tempe and I purchase my gun there. Weirdly, my background check took 10 MINS! Please head to Healy instead and don't waste your time at this gun store. read more

So I've been to many gun shops where the staff, unfortunately, either ignored me or treated me like an inferior species. I'll never spend a nickel at a shop that has some misguided superiority complex. I had an NFA item shipped to AZ Firearms Gilbert. This was my first NFA item so I was absolutely clueless on the whole tax stamp, ATF thing. I called the store and Mack talked me through the process. I worked on it at home and got as far as I could before hitting a roadblock (turns out I went as far as I could before needing the gun shop assistance). I went into the store looking for some guidance and was greeted immediately, ironically, by Mack (not knowing what he looked like). I explained who I was and he helped me right away. He retrieved my suppressor and let me inspect it. He walked me through the entire process and helped me with fingerprints, forms, etc on the kiosk. Then he explained all the next steps that would happen. It was refreshing to walk into a gun store and be treated with respect and kindness. Mack showed a ton of patience with me considering I had no idea what I was doing. He never lost his composure and never expressed any frustration at any of my mistakes on the kiosk. Thank you Mack and AZ Firearms! I'll be a repeat customer. read more

I'll start this post off by stating I use to like shopping at Arizona Firearms. I've bought a couple pistols from them last year. I would say at first impression, some of the staff was pretty cool. I don't know what has happened in the past 6 months (outside of the pandemic). I've popped in I would say times in the past 6 months to take a look at their selection so I can purchase another firearm. Each interaction has grown worse and worse. In my last visit (last week), I popped in to see if they still had a pistol in stock that they posted on social media. No surprise, it already sold. Honestly that's not a big deal. I waited, my loss. From the moment I walked in their was zero interaction from the staff. I mean not a how can I help you or whatcha looking for today. In fact, even after finding out the pistol sold, I said I appreciated their time and have a nice day. All I got was an eyebrow raise. That was my last day as an Arizona Firearms customer. I understand these are hard times and gun shops are having a hard time keeping things in stock. I imagine it's stressful. But it's not an excuse to be neglectful in customer service, especially when small businesses in the US would kill to have people shop with them right now. Go to AZ Guns in Chandler. Better staff, better selection, does have the boomer vibe, and overall the owners actually give a shit about service. read more

Never had a problem with em myself. Decent selection and prices. Thought they were cool until my girlfriend walked in to buy a gun and got harassed by one of the creepy old guys. If you want women to be involved in self defense/shooting/firearm culture, you probably shouldn't tell them you want to "count every freckle on their body" when they walk into your gun store. The same rule applies if you want to just not be a pig. Side note - the typical boomer gun store clerk "you're a girl so you must shoot a .22" line is demeaning and discouraging. Do you guys want future generations of shooters or not? Or do you want customers, for that matter? Because you just lost quite a few of them. read more

I shipped a gun to them from a out of state gun shop. I spoke to a guy in person at Arizona firearms before I ordered the gun and he said that it would be 100% ok to order and ship it to there store with him knowing the up and coming rule with braces. It's a pdw with a brace on it and when I went to pick it up they told me there sending it back to where I ordered it from. With that being said he explained that it's all the ATFs fault but when I called the shop I ordered it from they were confused on why they wouldn't give me the gun, as they were in the same meeting as them and explained that they still totally could have gave me my gun. So I called another local FFL here and they are also confused why they wouldn't give me the gun, with them also being in the same meeting with the ATF but will now need to wait till the gun goes back to the original shop and I will have to pay again to get it re-shipped down here!!!! I AM 100% aware of all the new "rules" that effect the brace. I give it 2 stars not 1 because I understand that it's a confusing topic right now but as a gun shop they should be well informed and understand what's going on! read more

I haven't been to many gun shops - but I've spent my whole life working with clients and making sure customers are satisfied. I don't suspect I need to step foot in any other gun store in AZ. The AFG guys are knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. The "customer experience" is clearly at the forefront as soon as you enter the location. I'm a newb, took LOTS of their time -- and not once was I made To feel like I was wasting anyone's time or rushed. Thanks to Greg, and the entire AFG team!! First time customer. Called my usual gun stores but no one had a Ruger LCP II which I wanted to get my wife for Xmas. I googled gun stores and learned of Arizona Firearms. Called them and they said they had 5 in stock. Couldn't get there that eve so went next day when they opened at 10am. Was immediately greeted, helped, they brought me the firearm (the price was fantastic... beat C2 tactical by $50) I did the paperwork, while it was being processed I took a tour around the store. Lots of cool guns and related stuff as you could expect. Was out the door with the new gun in no time flat. All the staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. Wife loved the gun. Will come back for sure. I keep thinking about a Ruger SP101 .357 they had in the case... price was great. read more

Very much enjoyed our visit and purchase. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful. Will be going back for future purchases!

These guys are all about customer service! I stop by every couple days to pick up ammo. Great pricing even compared to the local large sporting goods shop like sportsman's. Great people, great service! I recently bought a new M&P online and after calling a few shops that do FFL transfers, I decided to go with Arizona Firearms. When I called a few other gun stores, the people on the phone were either rude or not helpful at all. Arizona Firearms, however, was the complete opposite. They picked up the phone, I asked about the transfer, and a minute later I was already off the phone with everything set. My gun arrives two days later and everyone at the shop was friendly and very helpful. Definitely the only place I will be going to for any firearm purchase in the valley! read more

Came into the establishment on Tuesday May 25 2021 at around 2pm. At least 6 people working and during my 10 minutes browsing and standing at gun counter not a single one of them asked if I needed help. I didn't have a single question for them, I already knew what I was there to purchase, and I was ready to make that purchase. They lost a sale and a customer because they suck with customer service. read more
